Smelly socks and scattered laundry

I don’t have any teenage children but I’m pretty sure the following post might ring a bell for some ! The Challenge this month is on yay! It’s all about Teenagers and I’ve got zillionsss of stuff to show you, so I will split it up into a few posts. First out of the stocks is this offering from Boogers. A real teen treat of a room with plenty of flexibility to get the look you want. A suspended bed with desk above is totally groovy, the ladder is seperate so you can place it where you wish. Surf board bench and a fabbo media unit are also included. The corner brick decor is another piece you can play around with, great effect! The graffiti panels are so cool to slap against a wall, modify too so yet again you can fiddle about too achieve a style you love.

Another teen bed, this time with the desk area beneath and a funky 1 prim stool to complete the look. I was sooper pleased with the array of options on this piece, you can change the textures on most parts, wood & fabrics, way to go! This is by [hate this] , I always look forward to their Challenge items…the bunk bed on this is just 5 prims yay! (scattered clothes and basket are mine from wayyyy back when sorry!) There are heaps of poses in the mattress, plus some that take you to the floor to look like a proper “sulky” teenager.

Live life Luxuriously

Cmon girls, its time for some luxury. Pamper yourselves, indulge in a little style and recliiiiine. I just adore this set from [CIRCA]. Its got such a glamorous feel too it. An oversized big hollywood looking mirror to hang on your wall and a sleek against-the-wall table to place your perfume and cosmetics on. Add in a retro looking boudoir chair and you’re good to get chic. The chair, apart from looking just sooo fabulous has ooodles of great poses in it, for primping and perfuming, hair brushing PLUS some to lounge and relax – and yes the boys have a few also ! Contained in the box are all manner of props to wear to complete the poses, I especially liked the delightful perfume bottle, it’s just so beautiful .

If you’re into the black & white & grey themes you might like to take a look at this set also. The Constantine Gothic range is surely going to be a big hit. It comprises of a bench with stacks of poses. Plenty of gothic looking iron candles to place around, and one of my favourite styles of table with drawers that actually slide open. There is also a wall sconce , two pieces of very decorative wall art and crystal clear vases of flowers in white and black (and lots more ). The wardrobe box is so so pretty with its strand of pearls across the front. Ohhhh almost forgot to add, both the rug, bench and drapes have texture change in them, such a glorious array of patterns and colours for you to play with ! Thanks Cherelle ❤

[CIRCA] Goes wild !

I’ve been a fan of CIRCA for a year or so now and I’ve not known Cherelle do anything remotely like this next range “The Lost Island of Tane”…its tiki and willllld! LOVE it. (Reminds me a little of a game I play on my ipad – Virtual Villagers). Once Id rezzed up a storm from the boxes, I was amazed at the low-primness of it all. Zan and I keep a few hundred spare prims on our estate for such occasions but I just didn’t need them, all the pieces of this range are sooperdooper low and not resource hogging at all hurrah! Above you can see two of the main items from this new selection, the tiki house and warrior hut.

Wether youre role-playing or just want a superb new island home, this fit the bill. Good details and lovely textures make the structure blend in effortlessly. The larger build has a sliding entrance door and inside the most sweet little bamboo hammock bed/lounger build right in, its got oooodles of poses too. Theres also a table and some pots just to make it instantly cozy. The windows have swung open shutters and ornate tiki style decorations, plus a canoe underneath and ladder to get inside of course.

There are a whole host of other pieces to this vast collection, plants and grasses (some I have scattered about on the ground below the huts. Totem poles and camp fires – one of which has a pretty cool dance animation to really bring your camp to life ! Theres shelving and the cutest collared lizards to dot around. All pertty scrumptiously lowwww prim too.

Yes Sir.

In celebration of “back to school” time Apple May Designs have slashed the price of so many items of clothing for men and women. Everything with an apple attached to it is slashed to 25 Lds.  A whole range of clothes for men and women.  Shoe, tops, pants and on and on. The top is called Harvard and the pants are Preppy a total of 50Lds for such a great look. Must mention that you do have a colour chose as well.

Breakfast with a view.  The Jammy bottoms are another Apple May Design offer and there is a ladies version as well. They were the perfect thing to wear with Follow Us  new Fast Dinner Table.  A floating shelf loaded with accessories, tableware, coffee maker etc. As always packed with excellent poses and Animations, I’m using one in this picture because they’re that good.

Multiple choices of food everything from breakfast to desert with the cutlery and Animations to go with them.  The food is so damned realistic I’m hungry just looking at it.

As always everything is linked apart from the stools so you can move your position.   Sorry forgot to get a prim count on this but I did check the prims of the rezzed food as that is extra and they’re so low primmed.  Enough space and 2 stools means you can have company for breakfast/lunch or dinner.  Called Fast Dinner and is to be found in the entrance way as well as the new bathroom sinks specifically designed for men or women.

Mean n Moody (The Homeless Hunt)

You may struggle to find the hidden box but the search will be more fun that you think.  Time, money and more importantly imagination has been spent on the layout of  李 周杰倫  (superjaix) shop called XIAJ.  The LM takes you to the entrance of a subway station, walk down the darkened tunnel to the subway entrance. Such attention to detail.  At first I was wondering where exactly were the clothes but one click on one of the trains brings up a menu all you do is chose which department you want to visit ie men, women and discount and then another click and you TP there.  Not a massive selection but there is an edge of youth and newness to the designs. No demos in the shop so not going to assume they’re mesh but if you check out his Marketplace shop you can see he does have a lot of mesh and also many items come with colour/texture changing huds.  I’ve also added Superjaix flickr so you can see the look you will get if you shop here.The jacket I am wearing is the Homeless Hunt item but as a bonus if you can’t find it then slap the Free to Join Group board and you get some leopard sneakers male and female versions included. This jacket/shirt combo is mesh and is scruffed and worn as befitting the theme of this hunt.

Just an image of the escalators down to the trains now is that tempting or what.  Special mention is that if you’re not tempted by the clothes still call in and check out the “new” items room because he’s kitted it out as a man cave so if you are SL homeless and need somewhere just to be able to sit, maybe with a friend or two and chill then there is a home here for you.

Put your running shoes on..

………and rush to Pilot because as a Happy Birthday pressie they have reduced the price of everything by 50% so if there is something you really wanted but just couldn’t afford or you are a Pilot addict and can’t get enough of them then this is the time to treat yourself but be QUICK because sadly this is only for this weekend which is why I’m getting this post out as quick as poss.

And yes I caved in and bought  a new skyhome called Trautmann Skybox(I have no shame) but at 375Lds (will check next time I’m inworld) and only a tiny 20 PRIMS (I know it’s really IL) but honestly how could I not buy it.  2 rooms separated by doors that remain open until you click and shut them (which is a feature I LOVE) but there is a distinctive 3 areas because the main room has little steps leading up to a raised area.  OK pictures will show that better than I’m explaining.

This is the view from the separate room the whole skyhome is pretty spacious with those large picture windows and the backdrop of tree’s.

This is the view from the raised area and although you can’t see them if you look at the floor then you can see that the living area is a lighter shade than the raised area and there is steps down.

A better picture of what I’m trying to explain. This is also a more than reasonable side for a kitchen, study area whatever your hearts desire but check out the ceiling. Beams in the living area and a skylight in the raised and again all of this for only a land impact of 20! Amazing. But then again Pilot is well-known for seriously low primmed items.

Zoom back to the first picture and check out the dress.  I’m sort of rushing this post to let as many people get the chance to pop into Pilot and treat themselves but this dress is from my fav shop Dollie and yet again she’s given us an outstanding FREEBIE.  Mesh of course, a simple tube dress but with a dramatic slash back and that thick frill.  I have so many “dollie” outfits now so to get something as good as this for free is the icing on the cake.  Although if you haven’t by now join her group (free I believe) and grab the Group Gifts.  You don’t like the colour? don’t worry because she has 5 shades of this dress out in her shop all you have to do is find the 5 hidden treasure boxes click and type in the answer to the question.  Now don’t panic because she gives you those answers on her Facebook Page (and you don’t even have to “like” her unless you want to).

Drift my way.

I was annoyed because I was sure I had clicked and paid for the dress in my fav colour (green) only to get another colour!  Before I penned a note of annoyance to the owner of Drift I noticed that this dress which at 117 lds and is already a bargain actually comes with a colour changing hud so I not only got my fav colour and a total of 6 shades but I didn’t embarrass myself with that note.  There is a sale going on at the moment so I treated myself to a hat and scarf because “I’m worth it”.

A simple crochet dress with a serious and cheeky scooped back and side and you all know me I love a bit of side boobie.  But this isn’t tacky and rude it’s sweet and pretty with a little bit of cheek it suits it’s name Flirtini. Great texturing and of course if you change skin colour the shade showing through the crocheting changes to match. If you’re not keen on the open crotchet look then check out the rack next to this.  Exactly same stying but this is a much finer knitted look. I recognise the knit stitch but cannot name it. A equally as lovely choice and I’m glad I didn’t spot it at the time because I wouldn’t have been able to chose which I liked best.

Small confession though the actual colours are more pastelly than what is showing I was a bit heavy handed with the photo effects.

Just a mention to the skin and hair because I finally managed to squeeze my ass onto the Collabor88 site and snagged these 2 before the World and his wife turned up and lagged the hell out of me.  The hair is Diva with flower colour changing menu and the skin is of course Essence which I now seem to own all of. Both were 188Lds.
