Picnic(Group Gift).

Although this is a Group Gift it’s not a Free Group.  It does seem a while since !gO has had a new Group Gift out but it was worth the wait, and the 50Lds joining fee.

I’m glad I rechecked the folder this outfit called Picnic Overall  came in because I almost missed the scarf and because they come as separates it means you gain a lovely accessory for other outfits as well.

As alway though the Group Gifts from !gO are shop quality items and so this has all the quality texturing, crinkling, wrinkling and shaping that you get with !gO clothing.

!gO also has some of the BEST Freebies out not only do I pass the LM onto any Newbie I find but I still have every Freebie I’ve gotten from here.  I’ve had to log out of SL before I could check but they’re probably in the same place, outside the main shop on a washing line.  I will recheck that they’re their next time I manage to get inworld.

PS talk a walk through the shop and out the back as there are oodles of Gachas with bargain prices.  Again I had to return to RL before I could check them out fully but they seem to be a permanent fixture now and I know from my previous visits that there are real bargains to be had.

The Challenge – Drifting

A new round of The Challenge has begun, and I’ve got the perfect thing to share with you for lazing about. This raft is by 22769 bauwerk and its stuffed with poses that will let you lounge about in the sunrays. Its called a beach raft but really it works for lakes and ponds also. Beautifully decorated with flippers, a cotton wrap that’s hanging on to the edge and a life ring it will bring some life to your water and peace to your soul. Theres even some water melon sliced and ready to chomp on ! The raft seats up to three people and there are 20 animations built right in – perfect huh?

Lok’s has a new subscriber gifty out, it’s a shelving unit – you get two versions in the box. One with added décor and one without, so you can choose how many prims you want to use – nifty! The tub is Lok’s prize in the HFYIS (hunt for your inner slut), at just 2 prims it’s a real winner and has various adult poses, couples only though. I picked up the towel holder from Dench Designs the other day, it comes with a HUD and you have three different colours for the towels. Cost is only $40L, just perfect for a finishing touch to your bathroom.

From the front this looks like a really quality bag, excellent texture and trendy.

Look at that face OMG so cheeky! It’s like your kitty kat has snuck into your bag and is going to work with you, honestly it’s adorable.  It’s also Free LOL you can grab this from Bipolar Kitty.  You will have to join the Free Group and it’s just inside on the table next to the wall.

Now I’m here LM grabbing I can see that a lot of items here come with big colour huds so you’re not just buying a single colour you get a whole choice for the same price, a lot of items are for Mesh Bodies and come with various Appliers which of course you must always check to make sure it’s for one you own.

Haven’t done a rental feature for a while, so while I had a couple of days downtime I thought Id have a poke about. Came up trumps when I landed at Tranquil Isle Estates and found a lovely quirky little home for just 90L per week ! This is my perfect view, isn’t it beautiful? No other home in sight and open sea , it couldn’t get much better, but it did – after paying the rental box I had a few questions and things I would like to be changed – yes, I suppose I am a bit demanding. Contacted the staff and voilà, group invite, and a rug that I didn’t need removed, later I asked for a few more prims and that was done very quickly also.

This is the home, it’s actually made by Loki Eliot and you can buy it here on the market place. Different from what I generally go for, but something about it ticked my inner beachchild and I had to have it . I got 15 prims and really that does go a long way nowadays with mesh, however I grabbed a few more just so I could make it super-comfy and homely. It did have some furnishings included so I worked around them and made myself a gorgeously cosy space inside, and below a lounger, bathing tub and lots of plants. The bathing tub is from Dench Designs, brilliant little thing for one person, with several anims to wash, and do your hair, I think it was just 40L, but don’t quote me on that.

What really delighted me was something I found out totally by accident. I fell of my deck and plunged below the water – only to find that the sea bed was also decorated. I walked the perimeter of the entire sim and was greeted by shoals of brightly coloured fish, sharks, jelly fish and lots more. There were sunken buildings and reef tunnels, absolutely lovely.

Overview of  part of the estate, so you can see it is lavishly landscaped. Places are connected by a series of wooden bridges, I spotted monkeys playing and all other sorts of wildlife. The rental homes are nicely spaced and of varying prices for all budgets.

I’m really tempted to break out my mermaid outfit or snorkelling gear and have a play around in the water. I think there is just one of the type I rented, but I did spot around the corner in the next cove some cheerful little beach huts, also at 90L per week.

So I brought my own deer

A friend of mine sent me a landmark for a place to go visit, he said it had deers. Sooo off I went, tromped about, and didn’t see one! Luckily I had a deer prop to whip out and take photographs with – always prepared that’s me. I found the outfit I’m wearing on the market place, its by Ramp Design and is called “Daisy”. Long flared pants that have a slight sheen to them and a totally girly twirly sweater and shirt combination. The shirt has the merest hint of see-through too it…which is lovely and feminine. Overall colour tone is a very subtle pink, almost undetectable really. For just $99L it’s really affordabubble. Ramp Design store

Sigh!(Freebie).

I had a busy RL yesterday and only managed to pop into the On9 event which was the first LM that popped up in my inbox, tbh I was so time limited I ran around it, but I will be going back to check it out much better, but being an eagle-eyed Blogger I spotted this freebie, threw it on and did a total of 3 snaps because this is such a lovely looking little silky romper is just quality.

Now I’ve managed to get back inworld to grab the On9 LM I’ve also managed to have another look around, albeit a quick look, there is a mix of decor, clothes, shoes and hair.  Lots of big SL named shops as well and I believe all the stalls have 1 item which is offered at a discounted price.

 

This freebie is at the back of the shop with another one for the SL Frees and offers group, and I’d forgotten to even unpack that to see what it is.

This sexy silky little romper is just perfect, great texturing and fit but then again it does come from NYU and I not only know this shop but have a few items from here which I’m not going to show you.  The reason I’m not going to show you what I have is because these were picked up at slashed prices.  The NYU shop sometimes has an item set out in the weekly FLF (Fifty Lindens Friday) and I have bought them ALL.  Sadly they don’t come up as often as I would like but if this isn’t a good reminder to people to watch out for the FLF notices and go check them out because all that I have bought it now in the shop back to its full price and although I do not think their full prices are unreasonable I’m a mean biatch LOL.

Gratuitous shot, this is my SL home and again one day I will take ooodle of pictures as even though over the years I have owned many a house/skybox/apartment/shed and landscaped to my heart’s content this is the first time I can’t do anything more to make my SL home any more perfect for me.  LOL As for my RL home it’s an ongoing project!
