It has been well over a year since I last had a “weekender” and I will admit I have been looking forward to this one with bated breath as lets be honest we’re still almost living day to day not knowing what tomorrow will bring.
Now I know for me tomorrow brings a train ride and 2 nights in a small B&B next to the sea side so I’ve thrown a couple of basic clothing items into my bag and have enough money for fish ‘n’ chips, ice cream and with a fully charged Kindle I will return refreshed…and fatter lol.
Stay well, stay safe and lets hope that sooner rather than later we all can start to live our lives as free as we want.
Was at B.D.R yesterday checking on the group gifts. Saw a gorgeous denim jacket with tee beneath that was only for the Kupra body – so if you’ve got one go grab it!. The group is free to join btw. I helped myself to this group gift shorts & tee, separate pieces so you can mingle them in with your other bits. They come in various mesh body fits and have a ginormous Hud that gives a ton of patterns and colours for both shirt and shorts.
Love this lovely gift outfit from Mowie don’t love the limited fits.
You get I think it was 14 shades for the top and the same for the skirt which keeps that pattern. There is another equally as good a top and you will find these on the wall behind the reception desk.
As for the fits, this outfit comes in a Maiteya/Legacy only and the single top is a Maitreya/Legacy and Legacy Perky.
I was gazing at the Seraphim website today looking for something to do, when I spotted an advertisement for a gacha store ! I was there in a nano-second to scope it all out for you. It would seem it is one person behind it rather than lots of different sellers. Very well laid out in a sort of room/space area. Look upstairs too as there is a ton of stuff up there. Very moderately priced, I bought a rare bed for under $300. Its just full of all the things you didn’t know you needed – of course I failed miserably at being frugal and bought a ton of stuff. (This isn’t the place for clothes, jewellery, or hair etc – its all décor, shall definitely be checking in now and again to see if the stock has changed.)
Just a random find from the LUXE Paris Fashion House. The shop group does cost to join and although the gifts are worth that fee I’m still too cheap to get them.
Since it’s been a while I had a nice saunter around the shop which is how I spotted the random box just stood on the floor and it’s marked as a gift.
You get a bikini, sheer coverup skirt, shoes and, NOT this hat, a hat. The hat that comes with this freebie is that frilled bucket-shaped one and with the same colours as the rest of the outfit but I just wanted an excuse to wear my Mina hat as I don’t get to wear it often enough.
For me, it’s a shame that when walking the skirt mesh breaks rather than stretches but I’m loving the colour and pattern and I’ve also tried it without the bikini bottom and it can be worn without and you’re not flashing too much.
At the LM turn to your left and it’s the blue box with the pink bow on the ground. I also spotted close by another gift for another free group, I think it was SL, frees & offers which I didn’t grab as I only spotted it when I went to LM grab so that will be today’s suprise.
Oh hubbahubba there’s a new group gift for us at Dench Designs! Amanda is always so generous with her gifts and the group is free to join. This new gift is really awesome but I implore you (I really do!) READ THE NOTECARD in the box or you will miss out on SO many hidden extras. Anyhooo here it is “The Woodland Retreat” Essentially it is a beautiful one roomed cabin with a thatched roof, lean-to wood store and a deck to sit out on…but what’s inside hmm????
Oh-my-days so very much ! This single room cabin has everyyyyything! There’s a stove, a gorgeous sink, log burner, couch andddd oh I’m not going to tell you BUT take a good look at that “closet” !
As usual with Dench Designs items its top quality and a ton of menus for each piece of furniture. You can add décor to the interior and exterior. You can cook, washup, dine, lounge around on the couch and outside on an optional bench – there are even two multi season trees to dot around. Yes the two deers & the dog are also from the house menu.

I love the “We love Roleplay” event as I often find at this event or shops which lean more towards RP/Gor/Medival often have items of clothing or decor which will make a great feature in any home.
I don’t have a clue how many years this event has run for but it’s been several years now and we all know anniversaries means PRESSIES for all.
As usual a whole mix of items from clothing to decor and as you can see from the title, some are free, some a mere 1Ld and some 10Lds. The ones with a price tag also have a picture to show you what the gift is.
This dress is from the “Silvian Moon Design” stand and I’m pretty sure it was free. A full length gown which to me has a mix of medival gown and Indian sari with the colours and patterns used. The addition of the flexi on the arms is such a nice touch and you can’t really see it in the picture but those flexi bits are also patterned it’s just an example of the quality that has been put into this gown.
I also picked up a medival hat which I was suprised was free as it’s such good quality but I just though that this Mina’s plaited hair suited the outfit better.
So a lot of a mix of things, I’ve got some poses, a flute to play, decor and a couple of outfits.
BTW have you noticed these boards?
You may miss that these posters dotted around the event give you the Landmarks for some of the biggest RP sims. I have never done any RPing as I’ve just not had the time to emerse myself into the gameplay but I can imagine that they can be great places to meet people and have something/somewhere to go in SL. I don’t think all of these LM’s are for Gor, Medival etc as I spotted the poster for a RP sim called Scarlet Ridge which is a “A modern supernatural roleplay experience” and thats going to be my next place to visit.
As it happens as I was wandering around this event there was a male AV astide a magnificent horse and he was in full, I think, medival clothing and he looked amazing. You have to admire when someone has spent time and money to create the SL persona they want to live.
