Oh the memories ! FREE gift

I’ve been whizzing around doing the Caspervend Easter hunt – its loads of fun and totally free ! Just hit the sign at any participating store and you will receive the hunt Hud and a nifty basket with eggs inside to wear. Lots of new-to-me stores but of my old favourites too. I was dead excited to get over to Dench Designs – Amanda is always so generous with her hunt prizes and this time was NO exception! If you find the egg here you will get this fantabulous shed / greenhouse. Now if you’re British you will know what an allotment is for sure – I have one ! This greenhouse is SO like the one I first had when I begun – LOVE it!

Hop on a chair or a bench and you’ll find heaps of animations for tending plants, making tea & butties and potting up! The really neato thing is you can also add a gazillion items via the menu – such as a bunny, a chicken, hose, wheelbarrow and more. Thanks Amanda ❤

Love love love this new Laundry set by Dench Designs! Heaps of dead cute animations that allow you to sort the laundry, place it in the washer or dryer, iron the clothes afterwards, hand wash – and even a naughty sit on top of the washer !

The set lets you choose how much of the decor you want out – I’m showing it all but you don’t have to have everything out. Some animations rez props – such as the ironing board, clothes line etc, as soon as you change animations they go POOF! Absolutely brilliant fun and only $120L *faint*. All set up for you to have a play with in the store.

The Best Prize Ever!

Ok so Dench Designs have won the BEST Christmas Hunt prize everrrr! I wandered over to see if I could find their gift in “The Peace on Earth Hunt” – found it and headed home to unpack – whoaaaaa what a surprise! You receive a WHOLE room – an entire animated festive kitchen. Fantastic to set up in your SL home, or perhaps use as a prop for photos. Whatever you decide to do with it – you’ll have FUN ! Its crammed with poses for eating drinking and being merry. Cooking and prepping, even mopping the floor and washing up. There is even a selection of Chrismassy songs to choose from that play while you work/eat/mop !

Make sure to read the notecard – yes yes yes who reads those huh?! Seriously though, there are a couple of hidden surprises that you might miss out on – so READ it lol Thank you Amanda – this rocks! ❤

Dench Designs does it again – FREE GIFT!UPDATED!

I always head straight to Dench Designs before Halloween – always such a brilliant selection of decor on offer at such reasonable prices. I bought a couple of things for my home then headed upstairs to see what other spooktacular pieces I could find – and I found the best ever FREE gift! This innocent looking patch of trees and greenery is awesomely grizzly! I actually chuckled out loud as I tried them out. I’m being gobbled up by a tree stump above…

.. and here a little girl rotates with creepy music playing – always sends a chill down my spine (my animation is a fearful shake) it’s just fantastic fun ! The sound and particle effects are great and it rezzes things that go with each pose (if applicable) Group is free to join btw. The LM should land you right outside the store’s front door.

Update: Take the teleport up to the Halloween section – then find your way up to the second level of Halloween goods – the FREE group gift is on the central plinth – FREE to all group members .

Renting a home in Second Life

When Zan said to come over and check this rental sim out I was there in a flash. Not often we see something that so awesome we call each other to see it! So I was sunk about 3 minutes later and had rented the lighthouse above. Yes, we do have our own sim but I often rent places out to blog or just because I really adore the surroundings – this worked on both counts. $400L a week, 200 prims and a sim of gorgeous locations to take photos – whats not to love!

Got busy rezzing out my gear from Dench Designs – love this picnic table and planty type bits and it didn’t make much of a dent in my prim allowance.

This is the central roundabout, so pretty and plenty of places to park your arse and enjoy the view.

When Zan said it had “so many different types of home” to rent she wasnt kidding. Anything from a Lighthouse, a motel, brownstones, cozy little bungalows and more. They all seem to be $400L a week. I didn’t get a group join when I rented but I was able to place my gear. I sent a message to the owner and a few hours later the group tag arrived. I’ve put the rental office landmark below, although I didn’t see a way to teleport to the homes (?) I just walked about and found what I wanted.

Popped over to Dench Designs yesterday to see if Amanda had anything new for me to snap up (she always does!) and I noticed that the group gift had changed yippeeeeee! It’s a corker this month, this “shed” that isn’t really a “shed” is a fantastic piece of kit for your home. If you’ve ever wanted a little place to hang out and potter in make sure you grab it. So so so the basic shed with no additional decor is 9 prims, it has the couch inside all set up. Thennnnn you can get adding stuff inside and out – indeedy-doo – potting bench, hanging basket, lights,bunting and inside a stove, cat and dog,ceiling lights on a rope, drapes, guitar and on and on and on – its brilliant!

Naturally the more you add the more prims you use and that’s the awesome part – it’s up to YOU what you have out or not. The couch has male and female poses and I have to say – its such a lovely cozy place to sit and chill. Group is free to join, I stay in it as Amanda doesn’t spam with loads of notices.
