One out of three.(Freebies).

As soon as I logged in I logged out as I’d forgotten I was wearing one of the excellent new freebies from Hilly Haalan.

I remember this dress so this is a reblog but I also suspect that it’s possibly updated, maybe?

The reason I remember this dress is because it ticks all the boxed, great colour, texturing, fit, classy, elegant and yet still understated.  I quite possibly still have this in my invent and you should make sure you do as well so go get it and while you’re there pick up the other two freebies.  The gown drapes over you like liquid gold and the way it falls at your feet is the sign of quality.  The thirdt freebie is a beachy/evening/casual summer look and I didn’t pick that up but I don’t doubt it’s as top quality as all the freebies you get from Hilly’s.

Too early! (Freebie/Cheapie & New Mina).

Finally, I’ve found out where this new Mina hairdo is on sale and it’s at Uber which isn’t opened just yet.  Since as always I suggest you try out the demo at the lag-free comfort of Mina’s mainshop I will put the link for there and when Uber opens you will know if you want to buy it.  Plus it also means you can check out the other ponytail hair Mina sells.

From behind it’s one of her simpler ponytails, both youthful, sporty and classy.

As mentioned she has a range of ponytails from the understated to big assed horse tail ones so what is different about this one.

Apart from the change in the layout of the hud which has the big colour packs and the slider to allow you to tweak your shades, make sure to make a copy of your hair if you’re going to play with those sliders.  The main difference is that to me I can see more shading in the hair strands.  It’s the RL difference of dying your hair at home from a box kit or going to a hairdresser and getting it done professionally.  A home dye kit is more flatter in colour while a hairdresser gives your hair more depth and colour to your hair.

The other thing that stands out but sadly not as well as I would have hoped in my picture is the fringe/bangs.  You can see the eye through the hair, she’s managed to do that with her most recent hat/hair in that the brim of the hat is a mesh and you can actually see your face through the mesh…..ok I’ve not had enough coffee to be able to explain it clearly.

As always though TRY it for yourself not only so you can see what I’m talking about but we all know what looks simply fab on one may not look so fab on another.

OK NOW for the cheapies which is obviously the clothes I’m wearing.  I went over to Paper Sparrow as the notice they sent out about some sale items had a pair of shoes I was interested in but I couldn’t find them what I did find was the “The Stay at Home Gift” which is the strappy top I’m wearing in the top picture and it’s nice but not half as nice as the 5Ld green “Save the tree’s, wipe with an owl” top and another 10Lds gets you that bodysuit.  These are for 2 other groups which is why they have different price tags.  Do NOT join the “Fushion and Fashion” Group because you don’t get the jacket you get some PJ’s unless of course you are already in that group or you want PJ’s. I ain’t mad as it was only 10Ld, I think, and these things happen.

I think there is a couple of hunts going on as well.

PS.  There is a man’s version of the green top as well and if I was a man I’d get it.

Oh new gear from Neve ! This is the “contra” pants and “pincer” top – I am so loving them and haven’t taken them off for a couple of days?Because of the pack selection you can use this as a day or evening outfit – plaids, suede’s, leather look etc …soft or a bit edgier. The pants are dead on trend, splits at the knees with zippers (Hud for metal tones included on both items) At the rear the zip has been left open a little – is that for those extra pounds we are all carrying since lock down I wonder ?! Anyway – obs I chose to show the plaid pink combo but you can mix up the pieces and colours as you wish.

Really like this pack too – soft & sultry, would go well with flats, boots or heels – its really versatile. Both items on sale at the latest round of Uber – which has now calmed down a bit so you should be able to get in. Thanks Neve team ❤

Treating myself. (Mention of Freebies & 500Ld Gift Card).UPDATE.

A lovely note from “GlimmerBoo” reminded me it’s been a long time since I visited Soy so I visited Soy and ended up spending at Soy.

I’m so freaking glad I looked around the whole shop and didn’t just buy the first table I spotted because this retro-style picnicy set cost me LESS than the single table I was interested in and this comes with 3 colour options while the single table only came with the one colour unless you paid more for the fatpack.

Nice simple and well-crafted poses in the seats.  Linked it all comes to 12 prims, unlinked each item is 2-3prims and I think it cost me 190Lds.  BTW it should go without saying that the picture editing has changed the colour somewhat but what you can see in the Soy shop is the “Demo” tab on the top of each picture and you click that and a demo is rezzed for you to be able to check it out before you buy it.

Also, Soy has an interesting way of getting around the shop, you simply click and a chair lift is rezzed, hop on and pick the dept you want to visit off the list on the wall….or you can just walk around.

Soy also has Freebies but since this is a home and garden shop there is no clothing but they have added this face mask to their gifts.

I have to admit that up till now I’ve resisted wearing a mask mainly because we don’t come from a country where it’s a common thing and our Government won’t get off the fence about them and it’s hard to get them. So I’m going to make some for myself and use them.  Unlike the ones I will make with the Soy ones you can click and have a quirky pattern on them.

Although I’ve not shown you any other Soy freebie, you just need to be a subscriber to get them, they are really fab, I’ve picked up the notice board, cart etc and I know they’re all so low primmed and make great decor items for your home.

Ignore the shirt, it was the first FLF item of clothing I’ve been tempted by in a long time and it may still be out at Pixicat for that price.

As for the info on the gift card chances are it’s been in all posts for freebie groups as Mulloy are giving us a free 500Ld gift card and all we need to do is join the Mulloy group and find the hidden poster and so far I’ve struck out, it’s not helped by the hoards who have descended on the small shop in the hopes of scoring themselves some goodies.  So I will put the link for you to try and I will be doing another post about Mulloy as I did find freebie and I hopeI will find the poster myself.

Thanks to a “Heads up” from Imp I found the Mulloy Gift poster and I didn’t realise that it was the actual picture used in the Flickr link, so check that link out so you know what you’re looking for.

I was going to leave the Mulloy Group Gifts for another post but sod it since the board you’re looking for is very, very close to the room with the Group Gifts in check out the sign on our church.  I was going to put in on Faiths English country home but it was so lovely I think the joke would have fallen flat so I plonked it on our church instead.  Oddly enough for a clothes shop, but I do believe it has a furniture store, it’s GG’s are backdrops, decor and signs.  To find the Gift room you have to walk to the back of the shop and to the right is a small passage to the Gacha room which leads on to the Gift Room.  I don’t know how long the Gift Credit will be out, and btw it is trans, so I’d not wait and go for it now.

Distracted by the Pussy Cat! (Freebie & Sale).

I swear I was at the Crate shop last night but I was distracted by the Amimesh cat on the reception desk and I just had to go check out the shop it came from and it’s price tag which turned out to be 800Lds…so not this month lol.

Then when I logged in this morning the message came through of a NEW Group Gift of this fab Danish(?) style seating.

Only 2 prims and I have to say some nice poses, I didn’t try the cuddle ones.

I have loved the Crate shop since it first opened which happens to have been 2 years ago because guess what?  They’re celebrating their SL birthday with a 50% off sale and that includes the Gacha’s which turn out to be only 25Lds a try…because I tried 3 times.  Some pretty unique items in this shop, stuff you won’t find elsewhere.  I’ve not had a chance for a good mooch as I have to do some stuff in RL but I can’t wait to return for a better look around.

I wasn’t going to show you this dress only because it comes from a shop we all know for its fab freebies and should already be on your regular goto places to visit when you’re in need of a new outfit and so you probably already have it but I knew I didn’t so I was wearing it till I find the next freebie and decided to just take a snap of it and do a post in any case.

 

BTW You can’t see it but the sleeves are delicately slit so your arm shows through or if you’re not keen on that you can wear the non-sleeved version you get of this dress.

I can’t swear to it but I do think there are a couple of new items on the wall of the “Subscription” gifts.

Don’t Stay At Home! (Freebies).

It’s Monday, I know that because “Alexa” told me so. I’ve been a bit lax in taking advantage of our allotted 60 mins outdoor exercising and so I blew the dust off my shoes as walking in slippers is still frowned on and took myself off for a long walk.  I walked and walked and walked and then caught the bus back home, I ain’t that sanctimonious!

What a lovely “Stay at home gift” from Whimsy.  You get a lot of different packs of patterns and I did see at least 1 plain colour, I chose cats as I’m a cat person.  As for that hint of a breakthrough, I think thats simply because of my pose.

This dress I do believe is one of their newer Group Gifts, there are others.  You get a big hud of lovely summery patterns and also the ability to mix and match the top, belt and lower skirt.

AH! That explains it, looks like “Whimsy” was known as “Amisar” so that why especially on the Lucky Boards you will see that name being used.  Those lucky boards have some fine prizes in them and a very high turnover, I won 2 items in minutes.  I also noticed that numbers are just as frequent as letters so if you know someone who has a number as their first digit then
