As soon as I put this freebie on I went hunting for a suitable background and somehow found myself swinging on a Sine Wave dance pole. I don’t even know if the shop Sinewave is still active in SL or even dancing to make Lindens is still a thing because that’s what I used to do, yup I worked the dance pole in a club for many a year and it was FUN. Sadly though no matter how many times you try to catch a snap of you looking sexy as you work that pole all you ever really get is your AV looking borked lol. So I threw in the towel, TPed home and pulled a pose with one of my backdrops.
This latex/leather(?) outfit is a FREEBIE from Le’La Designs and I do get a lot of notices from this shop for special offers etc. Upstairs is where you will find this and some other freebies for free groups but the Le’La group is only 25Lds to join and there are a lot more gifts both old and new for that group plus lots of Lucky Boards’
It was only I went back to LM grab did I realised how big this shop actually is, the LM should take you to the one with this freebie and the other items, upstairs, but you will see that on the other side of the LM is another large Le’La shop and that too I believe may have gifts upstairs.
Le’La is one of those shops which has a lot of the now “classic Sl” designs but again it’s one of those shops that has you going “Ooo”, that’s interesting/pretty and with what looks like most reasonable price tags. I spotted 2 outfits which did have me thinking if it was worth buying them but in the end I resisted and hopped over to Mina’s to LM grab instead.
The reason I wanted to add the Mina LM was of course because of the hair. Blair is almost like a Halloween tradition for me but of course this superb winged hair esp if you chose the blonde/pastel/ombre palette can be super cute but I just love it. This is just one of my Fav Mina’s and if I had to buy Mina hairs I’d actually buy this hair and you know how mean I am LOL.
Although you can’t really see it I am carrying a weekend bag in my hand and that’s because I’m off for a couple of days, Woo Hoo. Nothing exciting though and looking at the rain tipping down outside it’s going to be a very damp couple of days away but even that can have its own charm. So I will be back either on Mon or Tue and until then be safe have fun and be kind to yourself.
I wasn’t going to do a post I was just killing some time before my ride turns up when I remembered that when I was pulling a pose outside of Mina’s main shop there was a bit of a crowd so once I’d scored myself some bargains I went over to find out what was going on.
It’s a NEW hair which let’s face it Mina has to be one of the most productive hair makers in SL because she just keeps on coming out with new hair all the time and never seems to stint on the quality or design and yes this is a HAT HAIR!
“Hazel” comes with a fantastic ball cap style hat and the extras are 3 HUDS! One for your hair colour, one to have your hair styled different ways ie change the length of the ponytail and the tendrils framing your face, and the third one to change the colour of the cap and the peak. All of the colours are subtle shades. Actually, the hat at a pinch would make a great horse riding hat, you do get a black shade, and it has that nob on the top which is a standard design for horse riding hats and although the peak is longer than you would find on a helmet you could get away with it, all I need now is a horsey.
As for the bargains, the jacket is a new GG from Santino Design and it only costs 10Lds to join the group. There are a few group gifts out inc this new one and also lots and lots of bargains both downstairs and upstairs, I know for a fact I have a few items from this shop esp some pants which have turned out to be really handy items.
DISCLAIMER. Obviously, the sim setting and editing have changed the colour of the jacket but you will see from the picture in the shop it’s a more goldie gold and although in the picture they have this gold colour and a blue/teal colour I can only see one in the pack.
I know nothing about “Peanut no9” or “RLV”? or whatever, I am as Vanilla as that tub of ice cream in our freezer but I know this sort of thing is popular both in RL and SL.
This is Kim and she comes with the attached collar which is a “Peanut no9 Collar” controlled one. Don’t worry if it’s new to you or it’s something you want to know more about as a full explanation note is included. Actually Peanuts aside this is such a pretty hair, I LOVE the way the strands are under the collar and even worn as an every day wear it has that kink edge to it which will have people looking twice, it also has NEW colours as well.
BUT
If you’re wanting another hair with a bit of “kink” just not so much kink as the collar gives you then check this hair out. I hated the original pictures I took of “Eden” so when I was over at Mina’s I decided to give it a second try and I am much happier with this picture.
Again it’s the way the strands of hair are woven under and over the blind and although you can’t see it the blind is tied in a very realistic knot. I often wear this hair just walking around which may seem odd but sometimes it’s nice to be just that little bit different and again I love the little kinky twist.
This hair called “Eden” is in Mina’s main shop as she is an older hair, but with the new big colour hud, and you will find her pretty darn close to the old Group Gift areas, hint hint, to the right of the reception desk and again although you can try the demo for Kim in the shop you get that from the FaMESHedX event.
In case you haven’t noticed it that’s an “X” on the end of the FaMESHed LM. This is a new and very adult-themed event so adults only but if you can’t or don’t want to go to an adult-themed event don’t worry as I’m sure it won’t be long afterward when Kim can be bought from the Mina main shop. Don’t worry though because this is one of the classier themed kinky events and even Apple Fall has a stall there with some very unusual decor items so it’s worth going just to look at them lol.

I’ve just been moaning, again, to Faith about a stunning dress I have in RL which is not fitting as well as I would have hoped and the same could be said of this brill freebie from Horntail called Kumi.
Yup, Maitreya only. So you lucky so and so’s not only score this but you get a choice of colours for both top and bottoms, they are separates as well which is just making it worse for me, and a hud which allows you to change the bands.
So go fight the crowd which has now gathered at Horntail. For some reason that name is striking a bell with me but I can’t remember why so I think I will wait for it to calm the f**k down and pop back to check the shop out properly.
My thoughts have already turned to winter decorating, Zan and I love to plan our winter theme early so we can get out and about spending farrrr too many Lindens in advance. I’m a big fan of Maya’s stuff, always stuffed full of furnishings, landscaping items and really cute animations. Everything in her store is $50L, and yes – that includes furnished homes with gardens!
This is the Martin Winter Cottage, a charming little home with a lounge, desk, fireplace, kitchen and even a loft bedroom. Every piece is animated and has the latest attachment scripts so no clunky attaching objects. What I totally adore is that Maya makes her items modify, so you can take out what you don’t need or want, or use items in other places or homes. I’m using a lot of her lighting lately as its so low prim and totally adorable. You get the snowy garden with this home, including some dead sweet winter trees and plants ! I would probably use my own bed (we always get used to certain animations don’t we?) and quite possibly add some more wintry plants – grab this and fool around with everything !
