Even though Faith and I have shared a sim for many years we actually rarely cross paths so I SPAM the CR*P out of her on a daily basis in notes and yesterday went something like this, heavily edited of course.

Me. “Hows about snow on the 1st Dec”

Her. “I can hardly wait”

So I didn’t and when she logs in she will go “ooooo” with all the whiteness and “OOOH” with all the barrenness lol.  It’s ok though we usually managed to get it all pulled together in the end.

I wasn’t going to blog because with all the freebies mentioned in my last post and of course the massive grid-wide sales going on I think we’ve all got enough on our plate but I took a break from destruction to grab this dress.

It was the combination of denim, silk and copper colours which screamed at me.

When I went back to LM grab I did notice next to the LM is a small selection of freebie/cheapies inc this dress but in a different shade for only 5Lds and a super sleek evening gown for free.  This dress in this shade is on the desk, and now I’m thinking about it I don’t think the Ld you have to pay to have it sent to you is returned so it’s not free just a Dollarbie.

PS. This outfit comes with boots…and that’s a nope off me but a lovely thought and they will go much better with another outfit.

I too went MADDDD! (So many Freebies I give in!)

I swear I didn’t log into SL this morning at 6am just to check out the amazing hunt going on at Scandalize, LRS Moda & Beyond.  In fact I wasn’t even going to do this hunt as last time there was one the place was not only heaving and the hunt prizes were too well hidden so I have up happily in this case although these shops are still heaving you can hardly miss them the hunt prizes as the little Polar Bears are everywhere.

Holy Sh*t there is everything, although I’ve not unpacked a pair of shoes yet but I have so much still waiting to be unpacked.

So later on today I will log in and slowly but surely work my way through all of the gifts and delete the fits I don’t need, see if there is anything that will fit my SLink P bod and tuck the SLink HG ones into a folder for future use.

The quality and generosity of these prizes is outstanding.  I hate to guess how many hunt prizes have been set out for us, I suspect between the 3 shops it may be as much as100+. ADD to that the fact that all 3 shops have Group Gifts AND Lucky Boards with prizes in them worth lurking for it’s a hunt not to be missed.  BTW Did you know that Scandalize has put some new items in their Lucky Boards?

Although in the LRS Moda shop the little Polar Bear that you’re hunting for has been made a little bit smaller than the other 2 shops they’re just everywhere out in the open or the standard “hiding” places ie corners.

LSR Moda and Scandalize are on the same sim but Beyond is literally next door on the neighbouring sim so you can either TP or just walk between the 3 shops.

Total spent = $6L – Real Life OMG !

My Black Friday market place shopping totalled $6L for this Maitreya fit all-in-one skirt with sweater (other colours available) and a Bento pose with $$$ prop – not bad eh? Howeverrrrrr I then stupidly opened a few of those emails from my most favourite real life stores – and BOOM!!! Oh my I seriously dont know what I was thinking but but but the savings were IMMENSE – I’ll keep telling myself how much I saved not how much I spent – and this folks is why I am always broke!

Nothing lasts forever.(Freebies).

The sun stayed out for all of 20 mins but that was all I needed to check my greenhouse is still standing, scurry out to the recycling bin, drink a big mug of coffee and now I’m back.

One of the few items I bought from the Redeux “Black Friday & Cyber Monday” event was a little set of bolts of fabric, only 39Lds if I remember correctly. They came off the  Muniick stall and of course, at the same time I picked up the Gift which turned out to be a simple but quality textured stool.  Both the gift and the item I bought were enough to send me over to the main shop to see what else there was to tempt me.

The Muniick shop is small but hopefully looking at the stock it’s going to grow.  I didn’t buy anything but I may return to the Redeux event as there is a stunning old fashioned sewing machine which is on sale there and you can see it in the main shop as well.  I just need to check my invent first as I know I already own sewing machines as no matter how tempting this new one is if I have too many already it’s a waste.  There were 2 other items which had me lingering over them but in the end, I managed to resist.  These aren’t at a discounted price so I’ve LM’ed this place for a revisit to not just lookout for new gifts but also new stock.

I didn’t leave the Muniick shop empty-handed as the plant and pinwheel you can see in this picture are Group Gifts in the shop.  The pinwheel is particularly good and you get a wearable version.

PS.  Sadly I will have to resist the sewing machine as I did a quick check and although I had a horrible old primmy set up, trashed now, I do have some sewing machines which are as good now as when I bought them.

Time to power down.(10Ld Belle Epoque Group Gift).

Just to stop myself from being distracted I decided to stand on Faiths platform, sorry if I’ve left some clutter I will clean it up when I’m done, and I was working my way through today’s 2 big hauls when it struck me! I’d forgotten that Belle Epoque has a NEW Group Gift out for us.

Obviously, it’s the oversize fluffy jumper.  This one size will fit all and the addition of a rather good/big colour hud is excellent.

The Belle Epoque group does cost to join, 10Lds, and of course, there is a nice selection of old Group Gifts and don’t forget that the 15Ld hunt is still going on.

The sun has come out so it’s time to log off, get some caffeine and check my garden to see if my greenhouse is still standing. With all this rain its no guarantee it will be lol.

PS.  The sweater is called “Myrtle” which so happens to be the name of this Mina hair and Myrtle is one of my fav Minas.

Belle Epoque

No! No! No! (Freebies & Bargains).

I simply refuse to start getting into the Christmas mood until maybe the first week of December but this Humbug Sheep was just too good to not show you now plus it gives me every excuse to babble on again.

The reason I can’t delay showing you Humbug is that I picked him up from a Redeux event.  We all know this event well but this one is just for Black Friday/Weekender and so basically it’s only on for 3 or 4 days….now I’m LM grabbing I can see this does go on till the 3rd which is Monday.

Anyhow almost every stall has a gift out for us and even I have indulged in treating myself to a few paid-for items as there are some great bargains and nice stuff to be had.

I am now going to have to log in, sit on something and work my way through my 2 hoards as my invent is as bloated as my stomach is after eating a whole tub of Ben n Jerry’s.

PS. I clicked on Humbug here and this is the message I got.

“Baaaa HUMBUG!: Christmas is stupid anyway”

Then I clicked again which was too soon after the last message…it made me chuckle.

“Baaaa HUMBUG!: Oh come on… a sheep has needs too you know….I’m off taking a crap. Try again in a minute.”

All those listed and more in the title are gifts from the SaNaRae event and all I’m going to show you is this.

Such a simple and yet perfect little Sake set, only 1 prim for the whole tray and 1 for the cup.

Obviously, a lot of what’s out there is for faces/shapes I can’t use ie Genius make-up, Maitreya tunic but the reason I chose this tray out of SO many gifts is the shop name is new to me.

I may sometimes lose on the freebie level but often getting reminders of shops I’ve not visited in a long time and even better shops I’ve never visited before can be just as rewarding.

It’s a busy event as it’s just opened it’s doors but I have a feeling that you should still be able to get in, so join the SaNaRae group and it’s the boxy Snowmen on almost every stand you’re looking for.
