The countdown has started. (Sorta Mention of Freebie/Reblog).

Urk!! Yet another morning, when the freebie finds have been thin on the ground and now I have to do RL stuff.

What was even worse is that I logged off last night thinking I’d scored an excellent gift from Hilly Haalan only to have second thoughts this morning when I logged in that I have already shown you this off the shoulder pant set.

So if it looks familiar that’s because it is and if it looks new then it’s new to you.

The “Countdown” in my title is because yesterday with a THUNK my Visa bill hit the doormat!  When you see in black and white all those Second Life payments it’s a bit OMGERD!  So tomorrow I’m starting the month off with a 500Ld limit spend for the whole month but it’s not tomorrow yet and already I’m being sorely tempted!

I’d gone to the Cosmopolitan event and on one of the stands is some amazing bamboo plants so I followed the link to the Konoha shop and that is where this picture was taken.

It’s a new shop, I think, although I suspect the designer is an old hand at creating as the quality can’t be bettered.  There isn’t much stock at the moment it’s really just a small platform but even so I have added to my list that tree, those grasses and the bamboo set at the Cosmopolitan event and a Silver Birch Tree set from another top class designer. So before I gird my loins and stick to my budget it’s spend, spend and then spend some more.

UPDATE:

Silly me there IS a New Freebie at the Cosmopolitan Event.  I’d spotted the Lipsticks but it was only on my return visit to buy the Bamboo set that I spotted on the other easel is this grey top.

It only comes in a Legacy and Maitreya fit so my crossed arm pose has come in handy.

PS.  As for the random background, some are the delivery systems for the 3 sets of landscaping I bought from Konoha.  They on their own make for very interesting decor but I’m so excited to start unpacking and placing all my new stuff.

Not a total wash out. (Dollarbies & Mention of Freebies).

Yet again another day struggling to find something that’s not already been blogged and is of a good enough quality to be blogged and I think I’ve found it.

Obviously, this picture has been edited which does make the pattern on this dress more vivid rather than the dull dusty old pattern it comes in.  I rather like how the top half has a different pattern to the skirt and yet they both blend really well.  I wanted to show off one of my new poses, yes it includes the book and leaves lol, but it does mean you can’t really see that this dress has cutouts on the sides and nice orange strapping.

I’d gone to the “The Wash” event because even though I’ve blogged that event, it’s still running so plenty of time to check it out, but this time I decided I’d check out the shops on this shopping sim and it’s the “baci” shop where I found this dress.

Downstairs where you should land is the reception desk with a “Stay at home club gift” plus another outfit for a freebie group, then head on up the stairs and on the stairs is another free gift, then you’re upstairs where most of the baci gifts are.  The baci group costs 1Ld to join and there is a mix of non-group gifts/dollarbies and Lucky Boards.  There is also a couple of gift boxes which look as though they have been stuffed with old goodies for us to work our way though.

“Keep yer keks on”.

As of yet no freebie clothes or shoes to blog but in my search, I came across this stunning open beach/surf sim for us all to use.

All of my pictures have been taken just using the sim setting so even people with the most basic point and click photography skills can take a picture to be proud of.

As you can see they have used just the bestest(sic) decor items you can buy.  I do believe that there is a surfboard rezzing station OR you can join the Free Group but it makes it clear in the group that it’s just so you can rezz your own surfboard. I suspect that if you make sure you pick it up afterwards you could sneak out a pose ball just to make sure you can pull your best pose for your picture.

This is NOT a nudie beach! So keep yer keks on! “Keks” is slang for pants and of course tops for the ladies.  There were a few people on the sim and like all the good sims everyone was scattered about just enjoying the feeling of being somewhere we can’t be in RL.

I could have taken so many pictures but the ones I’m using are just a small example.

It looks like there is a club and maybe an active social calendar for Group Members.  I will be joining the group because although I am totally unsociable the rolling beaches and backdrops will make for some lovely summer piccies.

UPDATE: So I had another little flyover as I was LM grabbing and there is so much going on and I really want to find a bather/bikini so I can use the pool as a backdrop.

Finally!!!! (Freebie).

I was just about to give up and log out when I decided to do a quick check of my notices and that’s how I ended up at Cremosas.  There seems to be a Freebie set out each day for us and since it’s now the 28th I’ve missed out on a lot of freebies but I will say that the picture of yesterdays and today I do recognise and I know I have blogged them so they are old gifts NOTHING wrong in that as old to me can be new to many others and I think I may still have the 2 gifts I’ve seen.  I also think it’s a case of once the day is over the gift is gone and I’m not sure if you did need to be in the Cremosas Group and that is a paid-for group and I can’t remember how much it costs.

These shoes, however, are NOT a Cremosas gift they are a “gifts and discount” group gift.

I don’t think I’ve ever come across this freebie group before so when I log back in, that will be tomorrow now, I will check it out.

So these tippee toes Kawaii sneakers are for high feet and from my memory, there are the 3 main mesh feet fits.  The gift board they’re on is rather small so basically in front of you is a wall and under the large pink gift board is a smaller white gift board and under that are 3 gifts and of course, this is where you find these.  It’s not that hard to find once you know.

To the left of where you land is also a whole load of Lucky Boards but I don’t know if you have to be in the Cremosas Group for those but next to those are some shelves with gifts for other free groups…so a smorgasbord of stuff for you to check out.

Looking forward. (Dollarbies & Freebies).

A classic SL style dress in Autumnal colours.  Looking out of my RL window as the rain chucks down it’s no wonder all I can think of is Autumn, jumpers, boots and hopefully even more easing of the Covid rules….we can only wait, see and dream.

Turns out this dress comes with a hud as I thought you only get the one shade.  It’s the same pattern but in pretty strong bold colours, and even though there is a green version this orange/red one is just so warming.

This comes from a shop called Poeme and I’ve had some decent stuff from this shop previously, check next picture, but I’m sure that the Group joining fee wasn’t just 1Ld. I’m possibly wrong about that but I don’t think so lol. I might actually check the group when I log back in to see if there is any mention of it being a limited time offer.

This top I know I have blogged before, I suspect looking at it especially that line on the bottom that this has maybe been updated since I last blogged it as that was years ago and it’s such good quality that it’s either been updated or has just aged so well. I  LOVE that old floral pattern which is why I remember it so well.  The top, as well as the sneakers/flatties I’m wearing, are “Stay at home club” gifts.

What a fab subscribers gift from Elm.

The freebies in this picture are the pile of books with that lovely plant on top.  The pink box is actually a little make up fridge because one click and it opens to this.

Such great attention to detail and I do believe that this mini fridge is possibly as low as 2 prims or as high as 3 prims.  You get a choice of colours for the fridge as well.

Now for the boys and since I didn’t have any space next to my sink I had to put them on the floor under the sink.

The slippers aren’t included but the pot, balm, oil, brush and that excellent wash bag are.  Again seriously low primmed and yet top quality texturing.

I’ve not been to Elm for a long time, I wish shops would use their subscribers lists more as I think it’s a great way to at least remind people to visit.

So sorry as of yet no decent clothing, but it’s not for want of trying.  So I’m going to take a break and hopefully, I will come back with some clothing.

Happy Weekend – what did I buy?

Time for another Happy Weekend sale – everything is just $60L wooo! I knew this was for me the moment I saw the advert, its from Atelier Burgundy “The Windows shed”, three wood options to choose from, I went with this pretty multi colour – only 7Li, its modify and you can detach the lights if you prefer. I’m using it in my garden for the summer as a place to write and draw. Which brings me on to the really nifty little desk – also from Atelier Burgundy, 3Li with wood or black colour options costing only $149. Just the one pose for writing in it , which rezzes a piece of paper and a pen that you wear – simple but I love it. The scattered pieces of paper are from the same store (just above the desk on the wall) These are super cute, three choices of texture by touch – flowers, quotes or plain, just 1Li , cost is $119
