Not a total wash out. (Dollarbies & Mention of Freebies).

Yet again another day struggling to find something that’s not already been blogged and is of a good enough quality to be blogged and I think I’ve found it.

Obviously, this picture has been edited which does make the pattern on this dress more vivid rather than the dull dusty old pattern it comes in.  I rather like how the top half has a different pattern to the skirt and yet they both blend really well.  I wanted to show off one of my new poses, yes it includes the book and leaves lol, but it does mean you can’t really see that this dress has cutouts on the sides and nice orange strapping.

I’d gone to the “The Wash” event because even though I’ve blogged that event, it’s still running so plenty of time to check it out, but this time I decided I’d check out the shops on this shopping sim and it’s the “baci” shop where I found this dress.

Downstairs where you should land is the reception desk with a “Stay at home club gift” plus another outfit for a freebie group, then head on up the stairs and on the stairs is another free gift, then you’re upstairs where most of the baci gifts are.  The baci group costs 1Ld to join and there is a mix of non-group gifts/dollarbies and Lucky Boards.  There is also a couple of gift boxes which look as though they have been stuffed with old goodies for us to work our way though.

It’s a Wash. (Cheapies, bargains, freebies(?)).

The “The Wash” event is open which means a lot of cheap treats, clothing and decor.  I’ve only done one small bit of this event and already picked up a freebie, not shown, and 2 outfits both of which come with matching shoes.

This outfit is only 10Lds for both the dress and shoes.  Both the shoes and the dress have some quality detailing on them, the zip down the back of the dress is particularly good.

The only reason I’m not showing you the other outfit, which cost 20Lds, is that I hadn’t spotted that it’s SLink fit was the Hourglass one and I couldn’t be bothered to change bodies.

I’m hoping the LM will take you to the stall I got this outfit from as I’ve forgotten its name…sorry.

Why wait? (Freebies, Cheapies, Discounts and on and on and on).

This jacket isn’t free but for only 10Ld an absolute steal.

As you can see I’m still wearing those Lucky Board pants, check out my last post, but if you want the matching skirt to this jacket then that too is only 10Lds.  There is a selection of colours all for 10Lds and I, of course, stuck to one of my fav shades, shit brown lol.  It’s a fab fit and not only does it come in my 2 fav mesh fits but all the main ones as well.

There is a new event going on at “The Wash” and it’s called “Crisp and Cool” and damn I can’t think of a nicer way to kill a lazy Sunday morning than slurping coffee and picking up bargains and freebies as I spotted a lot of the stalls have free gifts for us.

Shae’s Stand@The Wash

I dreaded going to the wash because there is usually so many bargains all those bargains cost me a fortune and this time history was almost repeating itself because I spotted 3 things which I almost clicked and bought but I resisted and instead grabbed all the GIFTS!

It’s not often there are freebies at this event because of the superb bargains but there are plenty of little blue gift boxes set out on the stalls.

This is the first box I opened and it’s a “Classic SL Design”. I’ve grabbed and binned many of this style but in this case, the colours sing to me.  Obviously, the windlight/facelight and editing have affected the colours but it’s beige with a slight satin sheen and a touch of gold to the frill and I love it.  It comes in many fits and 2 versions, this is the V2 version.  In the same gift box is a freebie for them but TBH by that time in RL the sun is blazing and I lost all interest in the details lol.

So I can’t tell you which stall this came off or even why there are gifts set out for us and instead of logging back in I’m putting on my RL baggy clothes, slapping on the sun cream, making myself a mug of coffee and a crisp sandwich (go on try it you won’t regret it) and I’m going to sit in the sun and remind myself of how it’s the simple things in life which really mean the most.

Foursome for Free

So I headed over to scope out The Wash spring cart sale – didn’t seem to be fully set up or perhaps I missed the main swing of things – but I did manage to pick up a free gift from Sweet Willows. Set of four cropped and frill hem tops – dead sweet. (Maitreya fit only) I teamed it up with these sweet Spring body flowers I found on the market place the other day from R&K, a sprig for your face and arm , plus a pose – just $10L. New release skirt from Neve called Kick in one of the fabbo denim shades completes the look !

The icing on the cake. (Bargains and Freebie(s))

I’ve just had a pleasant half hour at The Wash and that’s where I found these shorts.

I can’t remember if I paid 10 or 25Lds for them.  They’re really nice short shorts and not “coochie cutters”.  As you can see teamed up with this stunning top a good addition to your invent.  You will find the shorts on the Shae’s Design stand and this is the colour I picked but there are other options.

Most of us will be very familiar with “The Wash” event and as always there is a nice mix of everything from potted plants to shoes and although everything is bargain priced the prices now vary between 10-50Lds but I did spot a few Freebies along the way.  I’m not giving you the direct LM to the Shae’s stall as it’s not a massive event and this way I’m making you walk around and checking out what it there.

You may recognise this top and if so then I’m sorry, not sorry.  The folder it was in was dated sometime in January so that’s when I blogged it but although I remember this top well and went looking for it I don’t remember it having a lovely Ombre colour hud inc.  So if I’m wrong and I did mention it again “Sorry, not sorry” lol.

Still going strong, The Wash (10Ld).

I don’t know when the “The Wash” event is over but I’d go now even if it’s just to go grab this full outfit from the “Final Coture” stand.

The top, pants and excellent strappy shoes make a great look BUT yassss they’re separates as well.  Each piece can be teamed up with items from your invent and used to create so many looks.  I might bin the top but only because I already have enough but the pants are keepers and you can never have too many shoes so they’re definitely keepers…because I’m a shoeaholic!

Lots of sizes as well but check the box before you buy.

Don’t worry the LM should take you to the right place but if you have some time to spare there is a lot of really decent stuff here but be cautious if you’re watching the Lindens because although most items are 10Lds I think on each stand there are 50Ld items.
