Added Realism For Free

I found this old shed on the market place as I was slurping my mawnin coffee by Brown – its totally free ! Just 8Li and it comes with a scripted door to add. I did add the door BUT I couldn’t enter inside, so I’m supposing that this is a décor only item. For the low land impact it would surely look stunning in a garden or ranch type situation.

2Li and just $10L

They are calling this a “house” on the market place but I’m using it as a barn or storage shed. Fantastic deal from Landscaping by FelixvonKotwitz. Haven’t looked at this store for ages and decided to take a wander around the main in-world store. Whoa ! Lots to see, some totally gorgeous homes and of course plants and sim decor. The house has no door which I preferred as I was using it as sim decor, I’ve added some nick knacks to the interior and placed a good scattering of sheep and bunnies around, it just is so pretty ! Only 2Li its unbelievable ! Copiable and modify btw.

Happy Weekend – what did I buy?

Time for another Happy Weekend sale – everything is just $60L wooo! I knew this was for me the moment I saw the advert, its from Atelier Burgundy “The Windows shed”, three wood options to choose from, I went with this pretty multi colour – only 7Li, its modify and you can detach the lights if you prefer. I’m using it in my garden for the summer as a place to write and draw. Which brings me on to the really nifty little desk – also from Atelier Burgundy, 3Li with wood or black colour options costing only $149. Just the one pose for writing in it , which rezzes a piece of paper and a pen that you wear – simple but I love it. The scattered pieces of paper are from the same store (just above the desk on the wall) These are super cute, three choices of texture by touch – flowers, quotes or plain, just 1Li , cost is $119

Girl cave for FREE!

Popped over to Dench Designs yesterday to see if Amanda had anything new for me to snap up (she always does!) and I noticed that the group gift had changed yippeeeeee! It’s a corker this month, this “shed” that isn’t really a “shed” is a fantastic piece of kit for your home. If you’ve ever wanted a little place to hang out and potter in make sure you grab it. So so so the basic shed with no additional decor is 9 prims, it has the couch inside all set up. Thennnnn you can get adding stuff inside and out – indeedy-doo – potting bench, hanging basket, lights, bunting and inside a stove, cat and dog, ceiling lights on a rope, drapes, guitar and on and on and on – its brilliant!

Naturally the more you add the more prims you use and that’s the awesome part – it’s up to YOU what you have out or not. The couch has male and female poses and I have to say – its such a lovely cozy place to sit and chill. Group is free to join, I stay in it as Amanda doesn’t spam with loads of notices.

The Farm (The Challenge)

The Challenge - 22769 bauwerk & barn

A new round of The Challenge has begun and it’s really a fantastic theme this time. “Farm” is the theme and I’ve got some great garden type treats to share with you . Above is the Farm shed from Black Tulip, 100% original mesh and really low prim (uhm 27 I think) The doors open to reveal a spacious interior, so plenty of room to fill up with your gardening and ground work gear.

The Challenge - 22769 bauwerk - cleo designs

22769 have some adorable vege beds to scatter around, cabbages, carrots, beetroots & lettuce plus an empty one incase you’ve got your own vegetables. Just 2Li and so realistic – I know I will be using these in my SL garden for sure! Little teaser above of the huge amount of pieces from Cleo Designs. I adore the little tray, probably because I just LOVE french cheese.

The Challenge - Cleo Design

Cleo Designs has released this collection for your garden / farm. The bench is super comfy and ever so pretty with its casually tossed blanket over the back and plump cushions to rest upon. There is also a hen-house with chickens, couple outside that are not linked so you can place them wherever you wish, and some inside with a nest of cracked eggs. There’s baskets of fruit, freshly collected eggs in a tin carrier and of course a small cold-frame with some plants getting ready to be planted outside.

The Challenge - Percent Makeshift sink - animated !

Last but certainly not least is the “makeshift sink” by %Percent. Its simply gorgeous to look at, and its also animated yay! Lovely poses to wash your hands from a days hard graft in the garden plus others. The tap works and also drip drip drips, nice touch is the dripping sound – dead cute. Li of 9 and soft linked – which means you can mess around with the parts and position them as you please.

Go for the freebie buy the cheapie’s. Edited!

Firstly non Freebie but still a cheapie.

Mina untouched

Non touched piccie to show off the Mina hair. This is a “lazy hair” because “Carlijn” is a knitted hat/hair combo so no need for hair editing.  A chunky knitted cap but thankfully without that helmet head look that sometimes knitted hats in SL can have.  The hat/cap comes with a choice of 5 textures and the same amount for the hair colour options.  The ones which are discounted are the Pastel and Pastel/Ombre colours.  Slashed down to just 70Lds a colour pack!  If you’re not a pastel person there is the option of the “essential” colour pack but this is not only full priced but a little bit more as it contains 7 of the most popular and basic hair colours so you have from blonde dark black and the shades inbetween and again if you don’t think you would use many of these colour options you can always call into Mina’s mainshop and check out the colour option packs she has there for only the standard 250Lds.

Mina does have a VIP Group for you to join but instantly you get one of her great hairs and although it does cost you get that all back with the first GG.

The Freebie n cheapie are the 2 builds I went to grab. If I remember correctly the Freebie is a rustic cabin but since I have an invent heaving with different builds I simple rezzed it and then derezzed it without much thought.  Don’t let that put you off grabbing it esp since the one thing I did notice was that it was editable and most people start out building in SL by reconstructing others builds as the best way to learn how to edit.  When I saw this derelict build and I thought esp for only 55Lds I might get some use out of it for a back drop etc.

Personally I think it makes for a pretty alternative home for those of you who like to be just that bit different.  The platform is my working one which I’ve blogged previously and it comes with a colour changing option for both the land and sky and is only 4 prims (ish) and the build itself inc the derelict car is only 29, the fire is my prop.  So yet again for those of you with a low prim allowance and wanting a different look I think this rocks.  This build is only 55Ld and there are more at that cheapo price from this shack to sleek modern homes.  If I remember correctly the Group is Free to join and there ia a tableful of GG’s and Dollarbies.

I’m doing a lot of “remembering” because I’m having a PJ day in RL which means I’m sat here in my PJs with the fire on, my kindle next to me, Judge Judy on TV and some ribbon because I want to try my hand at Ribbon Embroidery.  Hope everyone is having a good day even if you’re not having a “PJ” day.

I was in such a rush to return to my PJ day I forgot to post more pictures of the interior texture of this build! Doh!

Squeeze.

I remember a while ago drooling over a very shabby chic greenhouse/sun room which was a cobbled together collection of wood, textures, door etc and looked wonderful however the price tag and the prim count was not that attractive so when I found this low primmed low priced beauty I was so pleased.

shedurb2

At 31 prims, that includes the hanging basket/tool box you can just make out.  Comes set on a concrete slab.  As you can see the ceiling window opens but so does one of the windows on the side, love the sliding door.

inside

A sample of the tatty texturing. This is looking out the front door from inside….insideedew…and this is the other wall which as you can see is mainly windows.  A faux cupboard as well, not shown as I’ve lost that picture.  Even though the whole roof and almost one side of a wall and it also has 2 windows this still remains a cosy and private little hideaway.  I usually like to position myself in at least 1 picture so people can gauge the size but that’s the picutre I’ve lost but it is a decent size small enough for a tiny plot of land and big enough to take a whole load of comfy chairs, books and plants.  31 Prims and an even measlier price tag of only 75Lds!!!

The first LM should take you to her, Lindini2 Lane, shop and you have an excellent selection of beach houses, small mansions, shops etc all not only with great texturing but styling and also pricing I had actually bought myself 2 items from here but I’ve not had time to even rezz the shop I’ve bought but I’m so looking forward to seeing it when I do.

There is a LM board for the demo area but I’ve also added that LM as well so you can wander around and really see for yourself the quality.
