Free & gorgeous Kokoia

I’ve really got into the tippy toes footwear lately. I find I rarely remove my Slink High feet these days, so for me shoes that cater to my high trotters are a win. I found these from Kokoia especially pretty – great colour hud that lets you pick n choose even the stitching detail! These are “Nile high” and cost me just $99L. (Ten colours in the Hud)

 

I also snapped up “Halle High” – very similar to Nile but more strappy ! Also just $99L. Ten colours in the Hud.

Intrigued by the store I popped over and much to my delight found some fahbulous group gifts – group is free to join btw. Two pairs of these funky polka dot stilettos …

… plus some juicy starburst lemon heels! There were a couple more pairs out as gifts, some flip-flops and two more pairs of pumps.

Wow, 2 amazing and stunning gifts. One of my addictions is DUST BUNNY, I really hate going over to the main shop because it inevitable ends up costing me big time but my Goodness their stuff is just perfect and I have to say not unreasonably priced at all considering the quality.

So when they put out a freebie, you do have to join the Group but that’s free, and look what it gets you.

This little wood board with the most delicate roses to make rose tea.  I forgot to click on it to see if you get sent a wearable but that doesn’t matter.  Even if you don’t have an SL home still go to get this and one day if you ever do get an SL home then I bet this will be the first thing you rezz.

And this will be the second.

A fruit platter and this time it’s from Omen.  Again the quality detailing is second to none and only 2 prims for this one and 3 for the rose tea one.   You know I’m not inworld at the moment and I’m squinting at the picture and if you look closely at the Tupperware for a moment there I though that was a rezzing problem but I actually think that’s an amazing realistic detail they have put in where you can actually see through the plastic/glass Tupperware container! wow.

So both of these are in the same place and you buy the “Omen” one for 0Lds and it’s on the left-hand side, trust me easy to spot when you get there.

OH Betty! (25Ld Swimsuit).

Urgh, I hate sleeping in it gives me mush for brains! By this time, 11.30am I usually have my house neatened up, emails checked, showered and dressed, work to-do list sorted, 2 cups of coffee, a big bowl of porridge and I’m SLing with a Halo over my head.  This morning I’ve got clean undies on and so far that’s as good as it has gotten.  Fortunately, I’d found “Bettie” yesterday and here she is.

Taken in our sim setting only so you can see that amazing metallic sheen.  I remember back in the day when you had to pay a lot of money to get this quality metallic sheen but in this case only 25Lds!  There is a demo for you to try because there is actually a small selection of colours to chose from and I struggled because they’re all stunning but in the end I went for this copper/brown shade.  Yo do have to join the Free group to be able to buy this discounted item.

I forgot to make a note of the fits but I would be surprised if the main mesh bods weren’t all in there but again there is a demo for you to try and it also inc all the different shades so you can see which one you like the best.  You will find this and 2 FREEBIES on the wall behind the reception desk.  The 2 freebies are for the “The Annex” group and SL offers and frees(sic) group and they’re the same item just in different shade packs.  An emm interesting outfit, what little there is to it lol.

PS Believe it or not the hair is a MINA! I don’t often wear it as it’s obviously a very stylised look so when I find an outfit I think it will suit it’s nice to be able to showcase one of her more unusual hairs, you should see the one with wings!  Sorry can’t remember the name of this hair I just have it labelled “Quiff” in my invent for easy finding LOL.

Little England

Popped over to Dench Designs earlier to see if there was anything new that had sneaked in without me knowing. There was ! I’m keen to try to make our sim (Dreamworks) have some realistic little touches and found this “One man and his dog” grouping. It’s by the stables and fields and looks absolutely lovely. Just $40L, 8Li and beautifully done it’s a treat. There is another Farmer, he is in his rocking chair with his small yapper type dog, I think he was just 4Li. Head over and check it all out.

Cheap and Cheaper.

I am a house hoarder.  Houses and skyboxes are what I waste my Lindens on (as well as plants, gardens, furniture etc) so I maybe a Cheap B* when it comes to clothes but it means I have the money to add to my hoard.

Normally I wait for events such as The Arcade or FLF(Fifty Linden Friday) or Collab88 where you can find amazing bargains esp from shops such as Trompe Loeil but I decided to check out the main shop to see if there are any gifties and there wasn’t but it wasn’t such a loss in the end esp if you’re willing to spend a few Lindens.

First is this Gacha win.

This is an old Gacha from a previous event but it’s now outside the main shop with some other Gachas and if you’ve never seen it before or forgot about it and need a small and yet perfectly formed home for ONLY 25Lds you cannot beat this.  There is also a model rezzed out next to the Gacha as well so you can check it out.

A “Shotgun” shack is usually a small single room and the reason it’s called “shotgun” is if I remember correctly you can shoot a gun through one door and it goes right through and out the back door.

Inside the main shop there aren’t any Freebies for Group VIP Members, or at least I didn’t see them. What there are is some discounted items, 2 builds and 2 items of furniture and it was this sky house that was the “Woah” for me.

You get 3 rooms in total all large and open, each has a fireplace and windows etc if I remember correctly 2 are identical and the 3rd is slightly different which just breaks up the monotony if there is any because these pictures were taken in my sim setting so you can see the texturing and details which go to make a classy design.

Big spacious rooms with lots of detailed windows and even a window type nook.

And if you join the Free VIP Group and this amazing skybox is just half priced at 250Lds.

As you can see outside is a snowy dark wintery scene but don’t worry as you get 2 versions, the skybox with or without the surround and a surround on its own.  A couple of extra’s is also blazing log fires for the fireplaces or a row of lit candles.

Like the Shotgun Shack there is a demo out for this build as well, above the desk in the entrance is the TPs so go to the “old builds” and you will be able to rezz yourself a demo for a good look at but don’t buy it from the rezzer, TP back to the main shop and this as well as the other Group Discounted items are on the wall behind the reception desk.

PS Can’t remember the exact primmage but it was under 50 for the shack and without the backdrop just under 100 for the sky box and with the back drop just over 100.

PPS I’m hoping the LMs take you near to the marks but I have a feeling the LM is preset by the sim and you will have to look around to find the main shop but it’s really easy.

Lunar Seasonal Designs & Tylars Treasures have joined forces to create some pretty awesome items for the Home & Garden Expo ! In-fact they went a bit MAD and made heaps & heaps – so you can pretty much decorate your whole home & garden with it all. Whats really neat is that most of it is  texture change & menu driven, meaning you can fiddle with each piece to get the EXACT look you want. The two items I fell in love with are the Tea House and the Buddha Garden – shown above. I’ve used them together but they are indeed separates and work equally well as stand alone pieces.

Inside I’ve set up all the “Washi” furniture which is also on sale at the Expo. I’m new to Tylars Treasures so was surprised at the extensive menu of poses and “sequences” in the menu (adult things oh la la!) Sequences are like a scene really, you move seamlessly from one animation to another – really cool for keeping the mood going!

 

This display cabinet is just gorgeous and you can alter the textures of most parts simply by touching the menu – even the decor items inside the case!

The Buddha garden is exquisite , love the little pool with bird that sings, great range of poses for the benches and meditation. This would really beautify a place in your garden and give you a place to relax in alone or with friends.

Theres always food involve right?! The Washi table seats four people for sushi, tea etc. Animations for serving,eating & drinking – plus of course you can alter all the fabrics and wood colours. My sweet kimono is actually a dollarbie btw – from CL Love, simple to wear and a real steal!

The bench and attached bamboo screen is by Lunar Seasonal Designs – I really like how you can add movement to the bamboo and of course plenty of colour options for both the foliage, bench wood and cushions.

Last up is this reflection pond by Tylars Treasures, low prim and easy to place. Heaps of poses, dances, cuddles and singleton animations built right in. There is positively a squillion more items to see, including a gorgeous washi bed (adult) decor and garden pieces ! Everything is set up for you to play with at the Expo and now the crowds have thinned its an excellent time to browse ❤
