Big thanks to Jenny, who dropped me a note to let me know about the lucky boards at Lagom. I headed over and followed her instructions, joined the free group and settled in by the lucky boards- it wasn’t long before I had my paws on this fabbo glittery bean bag – with couples, singles and adult poses built in !

As I was thinking of leaving – BOOM my letter came up again and I won this amazing PINK bed *faints*. In the box was a PG and Adult version – how cool is that?! There is heaps to win, all sorts of home decor items – will return another day when I don’t have to work (YES I know its Sunday – boohoo poor me !)

Be bold! (Freebies).

I was at an event and all I came away with was the LMs to some shops I either didn’t recognise or I’ve not visited for a while which is how I ended up at Bakaboo shop

As soon as I TPed in I remembered this shop and that the Freebies are at the back of the shop but before I went there I was pretty mesmerised by the new pattern changing clothes and by that I don’t mean by the use of a Hud, as the wearer is wearing the clothes the pattern changes and this is still a pretty unique design feature in SL.

Once I’d stopped being mesmerised with the changing textures I checked out the freebies.

These leggings and the poncho is the only one for us ladies but as you can see from behind me there is more for the men and for some of them you do have to join the Bakaboo group and others the L’Homme group.

Although the leggings and poncho do look familiar I don’t think I’d ever noticed that the back of the poncho goes all the way to the ground.

As for the rest of the Gifts they’re were all for men, makes a nice change.  Since I couldn’t wear them I simply rezzed some of them.  Lots and lots of fits and as you can see they’re bold as brass and I think it’s about time some SL men not only dressed better but were more expressive in their styling and colour so to be able to do it for free is a bonus.

Although there is only 1 gift for us this shop sells an equal amount of men/women’s clothes.

Big Day Out!

I’ve had a day off from work today – and spent it visiting Price Charles’s home High Grove. HRH was actually at home as we saw his flag flying above the house – surprisingly he didn’t come over for a chat !

Anyway , if you are in the UK and love to nose around gardens this is the place for you. Its pretty incredible really, very organic and informal not at all regal. There is an awesome lunch included or a cream tea – plus a lovely garden centre – and yep bought some plants!

Super Simple.(Freebie).

The headdress I’m wearing was sent to me from Kisetsu since I’m not in the Kisetsu group I will assume it was a sub gift but as usual when something is so nice it’s a reminder it’s time to visit the shop and I did.

This has been set out as a Group Gift which is free to join and you get 3 shades of this metal flowery headdress, rose, rose gold and silver and yes I have rezzed it and only 3 prims.

This time around I won’t be buying anything from the Kisetsu shop as I did a quick invent search which showed me I’d already purchased the adorable bags I was drooling over and I have so many of the Gacha prizes I won’t be risking looking at them again.  There are Gacha’s in the mainshop but also a TP to them and also to the demo builds.

I have to return to RL, damn!

Gonna be a 50Ld sorta day.

I will admit that the last !g0 group gift just didn’t do it for me, I don’t really know why but it’s the only group gift/!g0 outfit that I haven’t kept! So when I saw the notice about a new Group Gift I TPed with hope in my heart and it’s BRILLIANT.

A deceptively simple slip dress but it’s !g0 quality.

The !g0 group still ONLY costs 50Lds to join and I’ve been a member of this group for several years now and have reaped the rewards tenfold. You not only get shop quality gifts but one of the new designs is discounted by 50% for us AND do I even need to mention the excellent Advent Calender which never fails to be damned generous.

As it happens the discounted item is this dress, on the back wall is a whole row of this dress but in different shades/textures and at shop price they’re 210lds but the discounted group one is only 105Lds.  You have to click on them to get the price.

I’ve also seen todays FLF list and today is going to cost me as there is some Landscaping and even a dress I want to buy, as long as it fits.

Hiding in the shadows.(Freebie, Cheapie & Mention of lots and lots of Freebies).

OK, First the “freebie” which is the top.  The template for this top is now an SL classic and I have shown you at least one of these previously and you will undoubtedly see this design again but this one from “Pearl Fashion” comes with some damned fine texturing/colours.  You get a hud with a big 13 textures in total and plenty of fits as well but of course, with this style, it’s not really needed.

I almost forgot that this top is one of two free for all gifts in the Pearl Fashion shop.  There are some group gifts but this top and a pair of shorts are free for all, you do pay 1Ld and get 1Ld returned to you.  The reason I’m not showing you the shorts is that they’re very summery and I for the life of me couldn’t find another freebie to go with those shorts so I decided just to show you the top and let the shorts be a nice surprise.

The “cheapie” is a reblog and it’s the gold pants.  As I was pulling this look together I knew instantly it was going to be these pants.  They were and still are a 35Ld offer from “Sparrow”.  I popped over just to see if there was a new bargain out for us but it’s still these pants which I don’t mind at all because when something is this good it gives more people a chance to snap it up.  It’s a Maitreya fit only, you can try the demo first.

As for the “lots and lots of freebies” you will probably already have been to the “ACCESS” event but just in case you haven’t this event is packed with SL Birthday GIFTIES for us.  I visited this event quite a few days ago and I’ve not managed to even get around to checking out what I picked up but I’m betting my last 38Lds it’s gonna be good stuff as some of the top shops are at this event and almost as good, it’s calmed the F**d down lol.  Only 4 people when I was LM grabbing.

PPS.  Can you see what else I did?  I mentioned in a recent post about how Mina has hair with scarves and so I’m deliberately wearing one of them.  This hair is actually a 75Ld Gacha prize! If you decide to pop over to try the demo you will see that in the back you will see the hair is caught up into a casual bun and the ties of the scarf hang down and obviously you get a hud for the scarf as well.

We have had a few sun beams over the last couple of days – so I’m feeling all holiday’ish !
