The Dream.(Freebie & a Mina).

Just a fun summery piccie here because in RL I’m freezing my T*Ts off.

First, the freebie and again reg readers will know by now if it’s sporty clothing I snag it.  I don’t know how many sets of shorts n tops I have but I don’t care so there.  This freebie and there was at least 2 other, this is the one I preferred, are to be found at the Bliss shop.  The Bliss group is VIP but still free and so are the other 2 groups you have to join to get the other  2 free outfits.  Going by memory lots of sizes and with the 2 outfits, I opened both came with Huds and in this case I decided I rather liked the shorts not matching the top but you can choose your own preference.

It was the hair that got me back in-world because as soon as I saw a picture of it I just had to have it even though my SLing time was up.

This hair is extremely reminiscent of a very recent hair but Mina has given it that windswept look to it.  As someone who is trying to get a bit of movement or life into her pictures I love clothes and hair which have that extra bit of folding or suggestion of movement to them but even though this hair has all that it’s still totally wearable as just normal mooching around in SL hair.

The hair comes from the Shiny Shabby event and I have to be honest it’s not the best place for freebies but then again it’s been so long since I was last there you never know and since it’s on till the 15th it should have calmed down so I might just amble on over there.

Gocha Merlin, the owner of !gO not only has a damned fine and unique clothing range, it’s where I often chose to spend my Lindens, the group gifts are monthly and there is often also a new outfit with a colour which has been reduced for just the group members it along with Sn@tch are the 2 groups I have been a member of for an SL lifetime.  What Gocha Merlin also has is one of the BEST advent calenders going in SL and because this is a clothes shop it means CLOTHES in the unique !gO style.  Because as with most calendars only 1 box a day is opened but sadly for those who can’t get in-world once the day is over you can’t get it anymore.  So you really need to try to pop over every day to make sure you don’t miss out.

PS. Now I can’t remember if it’s now gone from a 24 day Calendar to a 12 day one but it does no harm to join now, go grab the GG and get yourself ready for the rampaging horde.

Getting Kinky.

I’ll save the insane rambling to the last paragraph so you can see the good stuff first and then just ignore the rest if you chose to and I wouldn’t blame you if you did.

A NEW MINA! Actually, Mina Nakamura has been putting out new stuff faster than I can grab it, mainly because RL has been a pain in the behind, but when I put “Eden” on I just had to start today off not with a freebie but with some sexy kink.

I took so many pictures of this hair but I don’t know if it’s my few days off or what but I just wasn’t happy with them which is a shame as the back of this hair is as good as the front.  The hair hangs right down your back (to your crack, I just had to say that lol) but it’s the attention to the details of the ties of the blind and the knot makes you itch to try to take it apart.  I don’t mind showing you this one picture though because you know what I always say….”try before you buy”  plus there are other NEW Mina’s just waiting to be tried as well in her mainshop.

You can see why this hair is perfect for the “Kinky Monthly” event as that blindfold is sexy AF!  You cannot wear the hair without it but if you click the “option” tab you get a choice of 4 colours.   Before I started to blog and just wore clothes to suit me I used to get all dressed but very nicely but I would also add that something “not quite right” to my looks such as a pretty dress and hair with claws for hands, a nice hair, coat etc and a slashed mouth and in fact my now retired male Alt wandered SL with a permament set of monster teeth so just picture yourself wearing that pretty dress, ball gown and looking stunning but when people zoom in on you they see that little bit of kink

PS.  Don’t let the name “kinky” put you off visiting this event as it’s pretty tame considering some of the “kinks” in SL and I’ve seen some stuff, clothes, that have made me drool.

DAMN is it cold or is it my thin lizard blood! I’ve got the fire on full blast with my 2 cats huddled in front of it but I swear they’re stealing all the heat!

I’m treating myself to a well-earned mini-break to a Christmas market and of course, it’s not only cold enough to shrink balls (men will get that) but it’s snowing and I have a train to catch on Sat and we all know that in the UK it takes nothing for the trains to stop running, leave on the lines is all it takes!  So it’s definitely a case of  DON’T “let it snow, let it snow, let it snowwwww” till I get home on Sunday.

Not been able to find a decent freebie so far this morning but since my ass ain’t moving off this chair I’m heading back in-world for another try.

Panic over!(My Kindle is working & I have a Freebie).

Sorry about my MIA, Faith and I are rather proud that we manage to get posts done on a regular basis but sometimes RL SUCKS, or we’re away on holiday lol.  Anyhow, I had planned on being in-world all day snagging and grabbing stuff like a toddler in a sweet shop only to find I was trapped in RL.

But I did have to log in because D.U.S.T has a new freebie out for us and I won’t bore you but reg readers will know of my love of D.U.S.T.

It’s a pose/prop room.  Because this is a Freebie you only get the 1 texture, I have the paid for copy and it doesn’t come with this texture so I was so pleased to have this industrial/steampunk/futuristic backdrop and in fact, I will be using it again pretty soon.

This is a very dark room but either with in-world windlight, lights or one of the many free photo editing sites you can brighten it up etc.

This, of course, is probably not much used to anyone other than those who love to take pictures in-world but there are other GG’s for you to check out and the D.U.S.T shop even though it’s a photographer delight also seems to be bringing in more and more wearable accessories and one of them is a gift as well.

As for my Kindle anyone who owns one will know that sinking feeling when it’s not working but unlike our health and lives a reboot sorted that out.

So I will see ya’s tomorrow and I’m already hunting down some wearables.

It’s mahoosive! (Freebies & Sale).

Taking a landscaping break because I seriously think I’m starting to suffer from snow blindness.

I was most surprised that Amiable was so quiet since it has a New GG out plus a sale going on but it made my quick visit nice and lag free.

Most people will recognise the jumper and skirt and maybe the bag although I don’t recognise the bag but then again I don’t usually snag accessories.  Amiable keeps out all of the old GG’s so there is now quite a few of them and most people will probably have or still have some in their invent but the scarf is deffo new.  You get 2 versions, rigged and unrigged which is pretty good because this thing is “mahoosive” and the unrigged version has a simple sizing menu in it.

I will say I had wanted to show you the very pretty polka dot skirt but it didn’t really go with the look I was trying to create but when you’re there just grab away.

Anyhow it was a nice break so I’m feeling refreshed enough to start landscaping again.

Christmas comes Early

How did my Winter vacation sneak up on me so fast?! I’m whirling around trying to get all my Christmas stuff done plus organise my trip – I need help! Anyhoooo I’ve still got time to share a couple of new pieces from Neve. The new round of Uber is upon us and Neve have new pants and a top. “Cherish” and “Minnie” are packed full of the desirable options we all love – Cherish has optional sleeves and a frayed hem and Minnie has boot helper options, belt loop,belt (with bonus colours) and pockets on or off.
