UURRGGHH or should that be UUGGSS? (Freebies).

The death knell of what little freedom we have had is to be rung at 4pm today in the UK and then we’re back into full lockdown…Oh Joy.

So I poured myself a stiff drink, of coffee, and mentally prepare myself to do the right thing…which is moan like a “b*tch”.

Moaning over here are the freebies. The sweater is not only my fav colour it’s from Coco Design which means it’s a quality gift. The sleeves have a lovely puffed look to them and the cuffs go over your hands and you even have a thumb hole.

There is also a full Doll AV which I cannot wait to try on. If I didn’t blog I would go around SL as one of the Coco Dolls but it would just be way too much work to keep on changing AV’s to model clothing.

As soon as I think about how I want to style something I often know what else I want to t team up with them and its a perfect time to dust off these uggs. They’re still Freebies, on the wall behind the reception desk. I didn’t pick a copy up so I’m going by memory that you get a decent hud and also fitted socks.

Be warned this isn’t a shop I visit often as there are some gorgeous items which I’d love to own but…”not in my fit”!

PS. The hair is “Blair” which is of course a Mina hair. I usually show Blair off when it’s around this time of year as it has “wings” and in a dark colour this is a pretty dramatic hair but Blair can be worn any time. I don’t have the Link to her mainshop so just check my last post out if you’d like to try a demo of her out……she’s one of my fav hairs.

The Saturday Sale Comes Early

So glad that Spirit puts out their Happy Weekend and Saturday Sale items out on a Friday ! I cranked open my purse, choked on the moths and stumped up $70L for the top and $70L for the pants. Bloomin good discount and of course as they are seperates you can mix & mingle them in with other stuff you have. You get a Hud with colours for the stud work, laces on the pants and the lower band of the top – dead nice ! Obs the full list of The Saturday Sale items will be on Seraphim tomorrow, link below .

Hair by Kuni – Halloween hunt gift

Best Bloddy Hair Ever! (FLF &Dollarbie).

Mina has a FLF offer out for us and it is THE BEST BLOODIED hair I’ve come across.

This is one of her new hairs which has been all bloodied up for Halloween, or when you feel the need to get your freak on.

I tried on so many of the hair colours because I can’t believe how well the bloody layer texture stands out, even on the darkest of hair shades you can see the blood! ADD to that this hair has a bloody drip option and yes just like her wet hair you can see bloody drops roll down and fall off and you can turn it off if you don’t want.

You do get that massive hair colour pack and as mentioned you can clearly see the blood on all of them. You don’t get the “style” hud which allows for extra strand colour options but since this hair is such a bargain at only 50Lds as it’s her FLF offer you may want to spend a few more Lindens to purchase that BUT it’s not really needed as the hair as it comes is just excellent.

Then rush over to !g0 for this bloodied Mrs Halloween outfit and if there is a Mr in your life then there is a matching outfit for him.

When you get to !g0, turn to the first entrance to your left and this is upstairs with all the other freebies/dollarbies/cheapies and the box on the bottom right hand of the stack of boxes….easy to see when you get there.

Spooky Hunt @ Masoom

Oh wow I went to the Spooky Hunt & Haunted House at Masoom – brilliant ! The house is dead creepy and as you wander about look out for the little white ghosts. They are dotted about everywhere and are free to collect. I found most of my prizes inside the house but there may be some outside too.

I wanted to show you these two gifts I found from one of my fav stores Nerido. The roller skates are in black with a Hud to colour change the laces and toe cap, you also get a fantastic roller skate AO to wear – LOVE IT ! I also stumbled across another gift from Nerdio, these black leggings. V. nice and perfect to wear with the skates. My cup was another hunt gift (I found quite a few of them) by Dark Secrets, all have fun mottos on them and a good hold pose.

New Home?

Gosh I haven’t had a look at the Second Life rental market for a while and actually I haven’t looked at my own “little hideaway” rental company for ages ! Colour me surprised when I did and saw that Amanda Dench the owner has added some new style homes wooo! I’ve rented my sky home with The Rookery for ages, its one of the $30L per week with 10 prims types. I have two large rooms, one which I have split into a bedroom and kitchen. Obviously you can see over time I have collected more and more stuff ! So the prim limit has been raised. However they do come ready furnished and you then have your prims to personalise. These are SO rarely available but it pays to keep checking at the rental office .

Had a mooch in the rental office and found NEW homes ! The prices range from a modest 70L per week up to around $500L per week, all furnished and ready to go with your own prim budget added for your items. Above is one of the larger sky homes, beautiful brick built style. Huge rooms which are amply furnished with some great items. This one is in its own sky environment, some are on the ground. Go check at the office and see what’s available – thanks Amanda for being the bestest landlady ever ❤

Hunt Those Pumpkins !

Met up with Zan at the Swank Pumpkin hunt this morning ! We decided as it was such a large event and there were so many pumpkins we would do it together. Pumpkins are mostly $0L but a few are $1L. Then ensued arguments about who was going to show which item – SO MUCH ! I was definitely going to show this gorgeous leather dress by Glitter , such a rich toffee leather – great fit too .

Then I found a wearable yay! This back drop is by Colour Alchemists, dont rez – wear it ! Im also showing the corset and suspenders by Ghostyss – a myriad of fits included.

Last for me is the big box of gifts from Park Place. The arched gothic windows are amazing, you also get some black pumpkins, the footstool and the floral arrangement – great gift ! Im wearing the sweet witch outfit including boots by Key Style – dead nice and a huge amount of fits included for both dress and boots.

Here’s a FIRST! We’ve never really added/edited or interferred in each others post so this does seem weird.

We did literally bumped into each other at the Swank event, I think Faith was there first, and so both of us went pumpkin hunting and then agreed on who would wear what and although Faith had wanted to show you this dress from the Rapture stand I’d “bagsied” it first in the comment lol.

A rather nice blue but it’s the creases, folds and the sexy lightly rounded belly which makes this a lovely gift. Those lines are not “breakthrough” they’re very reflective and change as you walk through different windlight settings.

This is the gift off the “ADI” stall and I’m going to admit I don’t recognise that name but a quick check of the Marketplace shop and I can see some familiar Dollarbies. I will of course check the in world shop as soon as I can.

BTW if you’re wondering I can’t cast a shadow in SL. Actually I sorta can but can’t. My computer is a gaming one and so I can run SL at high settings but for some reasons my shadows mainly come out as dirty patches at best and bad pixels at worst. So in the end I just decided I’d not bother with the hit and miss shadows and allow Faith to cast them instead. You need to join the free Swank group to grab your gifts btw.

All That Glitters (Free)

After doing the superb Swank Hunt I collected a few new-to-me stores landmarks to scope out. Glitter was one of them and I scored big time ! The group is free to join, head towards the back of the store and you’ll find a wall of group gifts, plus group lucky chairs

Love this tartan dress brilliant colours and just right for Autumn & Winter.

I also chose this dress which comes with a Hud for six further colours. Oh btw my hair is the latest group gift from Truth called “Forever”, you get a fat pack of colours and stylist Hud plus optional bangs. There is a fee to join (I think $250L) BUT its so worth it for the gifts !
