New-to-me store LD Designs has a few beautiful gowns out for sale at the Mandalay Square event. Now, you know I’m not big on “gowns” BUT – I tried these on and was really taken with them. They fit so perfectly, and really have a modern appeal. This is Lita, white crisp & fresh! Mesh body & standard fits included. Wish Id had this for the summer , it would have been so perfect for the evenings, however it would also be great for any evening!

Piper is dazzling and glittery and SO red! Slashed up one thigh and a really lovely detailed back – whats not to love?

If you’re looking for something even racier – try “Spartan” , slashed over both thighs and a corset inspired bodice really makes it pop. This has a Hud with several colour options which is great – the one thing I wasn’t keen on was you can’t see the colours ? They are numbered rather than giving the colour – so you have to go through them allllll – small whinge !

Cloudy with a chance of…

The Mandalay Square event is open and I’ve got this outfit “cloudy” to share with you today. It’s by Designs by Anara, comprises of denim jeggings,shirt,shoes & a modesty bandaux top (which I’m not wearing) The colours on these pieces are just.SO.beautiful! Swirly tones of blue and black,with a hint of green. The shoes are dead cute little slingbacks which are totally wearable with other stuff in your wardrobe (or wardrobes plural if you’re like me) Mesh body fits, and standard av sizes in the clothing the shoes are for Maitreya & Slink high.

I’ve not got broken feet! (Update on the stockings).

The lady who is a regular reader of ours and sent me the link to the Autumn stockings/socks gift from Lushish Catz must have the patience of a SAINT! She felt bad that they didn’t work for me, why I have no idea! but she worked hard and this is the note she sent to me….

“I used my regular body and slink feet. I wore the system stockings and then tried the slink applier. No good, so I pondered a bit. I then put on my slink physique HUD, selected feet on the underwear layer and undies for the alpha mask. I then used the slink applier for the stockings, using underpants. It worked! I can’t believe it, I actually figured something out.”

I can’t believe she actually did manage to work it out I sure as heck gave up after about 20 mins of fiddling and cursing.

So if you have already got the set for yourself or are still thinking about it then cut and paste this onto a note and slip it in with the folder with the stockings.  They’re well worth the small effort it takes even if I didn’t really do them justice in my picture.

PS of course you don’t have to even wear a mesh bod or presumably mesh feet to still be able to wear these as a system layer but thats no fun LOL.

The long road home

I was dead chuffed to see Luna sabia in the Mandalay Sq event ! I’ve known and shopped at this store for quite literally donkeys years. For the Mandalay event this round there is this darling little cardigan over a dress outfit. Fit is brilliant, mesh bodies are catered for plus standard av’s. Hud included to give you quite a few options to play with yay! I did pop over to the main store to check it all out and found some totally delicious group gifts (free join).

I have grass! and freebies.

Woo Hoo and get yer mind out of the gutter because the “grass” I have is the sim landscaping sort LOL.  Although our sim is always open it will be pretty soon when we will send out a reinvite for people to come and just hang out maybe even do a lot of posing for pictures etc. Trust me when we’re 100% happy we will let you know and remember what I say, you don’t bother us and we won’t bother you so if you just want to check the place out for a couple of minutes or spend the whole day here we don’t mind.  My home, when I finally finish it, is always open so you want to sit inside on your own or with friends absolutely feel free and I won’t even bother you but Faith likes a little bit more privacy and so her home on the hill is a no go area. but as soon as the sim is ready you lot will be the first to know.

Now to the FREENESS.  Actually, I had gone for another dress but I’ve lost it! my invent swallowed it up so I decided to put on another Mina woollen hat/hair and really try to find a great Winter warmer to go with it and OMG 2 minutes of looking I found this!

For once I don’t care that this is a one piece because I would choose this skirt and this top to go together even if they were separated.

This last piccie is just for Faith, it’s one of those days a person needs to be looking at piglets and chickens.  Actually, a lot of our picture taking will be on our sim so you will start to see more and more of what is there for you to use as you wish ie this little cottage/hideaway is yours to em hideaway in LOL.

OK enuff for now it’s lunch time and when you manage to rezz a building onto yourself it’s time for lunch!

Owl Hunting, Freebies.

Gonna make this a quickie because I want to get over to the Sanarae event and snag, snag and snag away.

Yesterday I popped back over to FaMESHed to check something out and spotted that this is actually another FREEBIE!

In my last FaMESHed post I did was about the New Mina but I had also spotted that the steaming pan of bread on the Apple Fall table was set to 0Lds, it was the table I popped back to check the price on, and there was also a couple of old group gifts still out and still worth grabbing if you haven’t gotten them yet but this owl chair is also a Group Gift!  How I missed it is because it’s set out on its own stand and it was only because I had decided to price check it when I spotted that it too is set for only 0Lds!  Once I’ve done Sanarae I’m going to price check everything in that event just to make sure I’m not missing another superb freebie.

But be quick I don’t know when this event is over but I think it’s probably going to be sooner than later.

BIG Thanks to one of our readers for leaving the link to some Autumnal stockings but I am a FAILURE! cos I couldn’t get the applier to work for my feet and the picture that comes with this gift seems to show it works with SLink feet and comes with the appliers for that and Omega Appliers.  So thinking it was time to get an updated version of my SLink feet I TPed over to the main SLink shop clicked the redelivery and clicked a resend and ended up resending an SL Physique body! DOH so I decided to slap on a pair of boots and just go with it lol.

And of course, I had to actually pick the most beige of the colours out of the 4 colour options! I was going to wear the orange pair but I blended too well into the pumpkins and then I decided I really needed a cup of coffee so I snapped a piccie and logged out.

To find this freebie you have to walk to the room behind the main entrance and it’s right there on the wall, the thing I also noticed is that the group is free to join at this moment but I think it used to be 50Lds because that’s what the note that comes with the pack of stockings said so I don’t know if this is just a tempory thing or something permanent so go now and snag now just in case but even if it goes back up to a joining free 50Ld is hardly a fortune.

Happy Birthday Sanarae! (free gifts)

I fought me way through the crowds to get a gander at all the new pretties at Sanarae, and found a squillion (well almost!) gifts. Just join the group which is free and click your way around the event. Lovely skirt & top from Pixicat, super sweet basket from Belle Époque – and YES, I do wear tiaras to go shopping in 😛 (I’m sorry I can’t recall which designer gave me the tiara)

Home & Decor too. Lovely relax set free from Chez Moi, a jacuzzi which would be super nice outside on a chilly evening (couple poses and singles) Ohhhhhh and the little clouds of stars were also a gift. I’m heading back in a  few days to actually, you know , shop! It’s a really lovely event that I’ve come to look forward too each month, its got everything from fashion to home & garden – check it out.
