Making up for it.(Freebies).

I’m “Kissing” it this Sunday as OMG the sun is out and so am I, even if it’s just for 10 mins in the garden before it starts to rain.

So these 2 items might actually be reblogs, I have no shame reblogging stuff lol esp if I’m just not sure if I have or have not.

First is the dress which is now a classic SL design and it’s truly sheer which means it’s a mesh bod fit and from what I remember it comes with all the well known Mesh Bod fits and an AV Classic Fitmesh size.  It also comes with a big 10 colour option Hud which is pretty nice and there is a red and black option for those saucy moments but the rest of the shades are super light pastels and perfect for the Summer season.

Normally when I do shoes I like to do them in my studio because I struggle to get nice close ups but I actually managed to do it where I was so that made a nice change.  So here is some Spring/Summer Floral shoes to make up for my last post of Christmas shoes LOL.

The dress comes from No Cabide and the shoes from Hilly Haalan and both shops esp the Hilly Haalan one has a LOT of Freebies and I know you will have seen a lot of them already on our blog and others, I know you look at other blogs you sneaky things lol,  but pop over in anycase if not for these gifts but to check out what else there is for you because esp at the Hilly Haalan shop there is a whole wall of them.

Yes, you’re eyes aren’t deceiving you I am actually wearing a pair of Christmas shoes!  In my defense, you have to check out the metallic sheen.

Dayum, you know if I had spotted these during the lead up to Christmas I would have shown them to you.  Anyhow these are keepers for me because there are only 240 days to Christmas and you cannot start preparing soon enough and when the shoes are this quality plus come with 5 shade of equally as metallic looking textures they’re worth clinging onto till next Christmas.

If you want to be scroogy and not go for the Christmas shoes there is 3 other Free to join GG’s at La Fashion Whore shop, a full-length dress, casual bedtime shorts, top set and a clutch bag that I’m actually going to keep…till my next invent purge.  All of them are really nice and worth picking up.  All come with a big mesh bod fit and colour Hud.

Just(the)Pants.(Freebie).

Aw nooo these excellent pants from Beuno come in a lot of mesh bod fits just not my SLink one!

Actually, as you can see they do fit my booty pretty well just not as well as they could have if they were made to fit (in certain poses the hem split etc). Anyhow they have a laced up side seam and you get 2 version this and a more raggy pair and if you have a Freya, HG,Isis or Maitreya bod then you will have a perfect fit.

Be warned though the Beuno shop has some damned good stuff in it, sometimes it’s hard to be a meanie because I look at full priced clothes in SL and my heart sings to buy them but my brain nags to be sensible and when you find great freebies like the shorts, top(old gift) and unseen some excellent strappy boots I’m wearing it’s easy to look good….but never skimp on the hair n skin it’s my golden rule.

PS of course if you don’t have a mesh bod you can still wear these as I’m pretty sure by now we all so enough Alphas to cover every outfit that doesn’t come with one.

Free as a bird

I really love complete outfits – because basically I’m really lazy and I never seem to have time to rummage and produce an outfit  . Thanks goodness for Luxe Paris and their off the peg, wear & go outfits! This is the Christina jacket with tank and pants set. Beautiful sage green and teal hues, perfect for Spring. The jacket has some nifty detailing on it, buckles and pockets etc. I found , with my Slink Physique body I needed to wear the xs size pants to get a perfect fit all round, specially wearing them with the jacket. You get a whole heap of sizes from standard to mesh body – so its easy peasy to get the right look. (This outfit is compatible with standard avatars, Maitreya, Slink and Belleza mesh bodies)

I’m old sooo old.(Freebie).

The notice that I received has a picture of new shoes but when I unpacked the free to join group gift from the Secret Store I realised that these are actually old, really old shoes but they’re actually so good I even remember the clothes I wore to show them off in a post that’s probably a couple of years old now, if you’re interested it was a super cute retro sailors outfit which even had a little sailor’s cap and considering that outfit came from Boom which is now a shop long gone it’s making me feel old lol.

But they’re just too cute to not repost and I think you can see why I wore the outfit I did as they do have a retro look to them.  You get the SLink and Maitreya “mid” foot fit but you also get a left and right rigged which suggests to me that if you don’t have mesh feet then you can wear those but it doesn’t come with the alpha to match and I don’t have an old mon mesh foot alpha so I couldn’t really try.

Obviously, I may have missed a much newer GG which I might look for if I have time but make sure to check out the shop fully yourself.

Am I the only one who keeps a folder in her invent of decor items but the sort of stuff you use to make your home look “lived” in?  So bags and shoes boxes etc always get primmed checked to see if they make decor items and check out the delivery box for these shoes.

1 Prim and perfect for your bedroom, dressing room etc so it’s a win-win and if there is a newer pair of shoes a win, win, win.

UPDATE. There IS A brand new GG.    This old one is on the reception dest and as it happens just where I rezzed inworld I spotted on the yellow dresser is the NEW GG.  Very similar in the simple, retro style and I did grab it but I’ve ran out of SLing time.

I’ve been busy remodelling my pool area the last few days, I wanted a hint of retro and I’m really pleased with how its going. I thought this new dress from Luxe Paris set just the right tone to wander around that space! This is the “Feuilles” frock, superb all over print and snug capped sleeves lend a vintage feel. Smartly tight in all the right places and the colour palette is deeeelicious! This comes in standard and mesh body sizes – I’m wearing it over my Slink Physique body and no alphas used. My necklace is part of a set from Darkmouse “fossilised” for just $25L you get the earrings, necklace and bracelet – fantastic deal!

0Lds for 35Lds(Freebies).

Blah. blah, blah and more blah which just about sums up my morning so far.  The only good thing is that I had completely forgotten I had picked a whole load of goodies from the 35Ld Group yesterday which is actually Free to join group and has a selection of old 35Lds items which are now set to Free for group members.

This is the gift from  Simply Shelby on the shelf with the other gifts and not only is it stunning it’s editable which means…

I copied it, shrunk it, took it apart bit by bit.

Although shrinkable it doesn’t shrink to a table top size even but better is that you can take this whole thing apart so if yo don’t like the milk churn it comes in the simple basic editing skills is all you need to zap it away and you can break it down even more right down to a single stem with 2 of the fat flowers on it for a single prim.

Since it’s been a while since I was last over at Simply Shelby I decided to do a quick visit before I logged off and WOW check out this matching wreath.  4 Prims and just as stunning, a pretty big size but this one can be editing much smaller but the prims stay the same.

Holy Carp! Check this out! This is the Christmas Gift and it comes with a lovely big fat green bow which is just as lovely all year around but I edited it off just to see if I can and obviously I could LOL 3 prims with bow 2 without.  Didn’t have time to rezz back out the original and I’d already snapped this one but with or without the bow stunning all year round.

I don’t think I’ve blogged these items before because I’m sure I would still have them in my invent but if these are reblogs I don’t care I think I might reblog them every month till everyone in SL has them LOL.

PS there is, even more, gifties tucked behind the rose gazebo where you TP in but I ran out of time so there is a couple of more surprises just waiting for you.
