I’m so excited. (New Mina Hair & Freebie(s?).

I found out that this new Mina hair comes from the Hair Fair and today is its first day, yes I will be going and yes if I find a hair that Mina hasn’t created yet and think it will make a great addition to my invent I will/may buy it. As I always say “hair and skin” are the two things you can’t skimp on.

The funny thing was when I first put this hair on my initial thought was “this is a horrible fit!” then I spotted the tattoo layers and of course realised it was another close-shave look. She’s got a new range of shaved styles and yet again she’s done another really great look. Check out those fine strands of colour.

I’ve not done it yet but if you want a different shade from the preset ones in the pack then just follow the easy instructions and you can save them in the Hud or just use the sliders to play with the shading but don’t forget to make a copy first especially if you’re trying it for the first time and you mess it up as it’s much easier if you’ve still got the original.

Or it looks like she’s now selling patterned/shaved base layers if you want.

Yesterday I spotted in a notice a picture of this top which is a gift from the “off-line” shop but you get it from the “The Tres Chic Event”. Not only did it turn out to be as good as I hoped it comes with big assed hud…always a plus.

Pay Attention, because I also missed this and it was only on my return visit to LM grab that I spotted more gifts at the Tres chic event. When you TP over, head forward and on the wall of stalls you will see on the left end is a large picture with this gift but check out the right end of the wall and you will see there is a pile of gift boxes, one-click gives you them all. I’ve not unpacked those so I don’t know what or how many gifts there are but I’m looking forward to that soon.

If Shi hadn’t sent me the note I don’t think I would have gone to the Avatar Fair Event and I’m glad she did as it has everything a Cheap B* could want, Freebies, Dollarbies and a Hunt.

This dress is the hunt prize no 10 and cost 1Lds. As soon as I put it on I knew I had to dust off a Mina veiled hat/hair that I rarely get to wear which is so old I’m not even sure it’s for sale anymore.

The dress is a bit dark but you can still make out the draped top, folds and at the waistline there are buttons. I just thought this will make a great Halloween Widow look but don’t worry as right next to the LM are the freebies for the Avatar Fair group which are more colourful and youthful.

I just had to check and although I couldn’t find this hat/hair in Mina’s shop it is for sale in the Marketplace shop. I was a bit surprised it was still a full priced item but then again it has lasted the test of time and if this is the style you want then it’s price doesn’t matter. Don’t worry you can still try the demo on before you make your mind up.

My fav colour, orange, my fav price, free, a chance to show you the pearly Mina hair so a great start to the day.

There are 2 colours in the pack and lots of fits. I suspect these are last years Halloween gifts from the Punk Justus shop as the dress has “Haunting” in the name. The other colour is a very bold purple.

I think you can see now why I love this hair from Mina’s. I won’t bore you with the details as you can check out my last post.

BTW I don’t love all of Mina’s hairs and not all of Mina’s hairs suit but but I’ve found thats the same with all hair shops the only thing is I’ve found that I do love most of Mina’s hairs and most of Mina’s hairs suit me. It’s why I always say try before you buy and never go by a pretty picture.

Punk Justus.

Pick carefully. (FLF Mina “Wet” Hair).

When Mina brought out her first “wet” hair it was such a new thing that I bet the sale of it went through the roof. The “wet” version was so popular she actually updated the pack to include a permament wet hair.

Since then she’s come out with more wet look hairs as for those who not only like to take pictures but do like to add more realism to their “OFTD” (outfit of the day) then when you’re in a beachy look then wet hair is just a great finishing touch. What you can’t see in this pictures is the small droplets of water running down the strands of hair.

This hair is called Marsha and is her FLF offer.

This hair is also an interactive hair and with a very simple easy to use hud. You can keep the hair permamently wet or dry or set a timer to change from wet to dry and turn the water droplets off and on.

As ALWAY check out the demo as you will get the fully interactive demo to try. If you want to check out the other wet/dry hair then you will spot a random shower in her main shop and it’s there because the other wet/dry hairs are close by and you can try them out using this shower before you decide which you like best.

OH I’ve just had a thought of course wet hair is for when you shower or over excercise both vertically and horizontally…wink wink lol.

The wrong hat. (Freebie).

Just a random find from the LUXE Paris Fashion House. The shop group does cost to join and although the gifts are worth that fee I’m still too cheap to get them.

Since it’s been a while I had a nice saunter around the shop which is how I spotted the random box just stood on the floor and it’s marked as a gift.

You get a bikini, sheer coverup skirt, shoes and, NOT this hat, a hat. The hat that comes with this freebie is that frilled bucket-shaped one and with the same colours as the rest of the outfit but I just wanted an excuse to wear my Mina hat as I don’t get to wear it often enough.

For me, it’s a shame that when walking the skirt mesh breaks rather than stretches but I’m loving the colour and pattern and I’ve also tried it without the bikini bottom and it can be worn without and you’re not flashing too much.

At the LM turn to your left and it’s the blue box with the pink bow on the ground. I also spotted close by another gift for another free group, I think it was SL, frees & offers which I didn’t grab as I only spotted it when I went to LM grab so that will be today’s suprise.

LUXE Paris Fashion House.

We/I Love RP. (Freebies, Dollarbies, Cheapies).2

I love the “We love Roleplay” event as I often find at this event or shops which lean more towards RP/Gor/Medival often have items of clothing or decor which will make a great feature in any home.

I don’t have a clue how many years this event has run for but it’s been several years now and we all know anniversaries means PRESSIES for all.

As usual a whole mix of items from clothing to decor and as you can see from the title, some are free, some a mere 1Ld and some 10Lds. The ones with a price tag also have a picture to show you what the gift is.

This dress is from the “Silvian Moon Design” stand and I’m pretty sure it was free. A full length gown which to me has a mix of medival gown and Indian sari with the colours and patterns used. The addition of the flexi on the arms is such a nice touch and you can’t really see it in the picture but those flexi bits are also patterned it’s just an example of the quality that has been put into this gown.

I also picked up a medival hat which I was suprised was free as it’s such good quality but I just though that this Mina’s plaited hair suited the outfit better.

So a lot of a mix of things, I’ve got some poses, a flute to play, decor and a couple of outfits.

BTW have you noticed these boards?

You may miss that these posters dotted around the event give you the Landmarks for some of the biggest RP sims. I have never done any RPing as I’ve just not had the time to emerse myself into the gameplay but I can imagine that they can be great places to meet people and have something/somewhere to go in SL. I don’t think all of these LM’s are for Gor, Medival etc as I spotted the poster for a RP sim called Scarlet Ridge which is a “A modern supernatural roleplay experience” and thats going to be my next place to visit.

As it happens as I was wandering around this event there was a male AV astide a magnificent horse and he was in full, I think, medival clothing and he looked amazing. You have to admire when someone has spent time and money to create the SL persona they want to live.

We Love Roleplay.

I knew it! (Mina’s FLF offer and Dollarbie).

Blimey where is the time going! It’s already past 3pm, in the UK, and I still haven’t finished my work but it’s time for a coffee break so I did a quick log in as I knew I had this dollarbie outfit from the marketplace to show you.

I don’t know how I missed that Mina has an FLF (Fifty Linden Offer) on! If I hadn’t decided to just pop over I would have missed being able to show Brianna to you.

You get a style hud which changes the side the fringe is swept over to. You can’t really see them because I’ve not taken a picture close enough to show you the (UK) clips or (American) bobby pins which hold that swept fringe in place which is a nice subtle touch.

As always try the demo but a quality hair with a fatpack of shades for 50Ld its a steal.

As for the outfit the more I look at it the more I suspect it’s a reblog. Not sure if it was Faith or I which has shown you this pant/top set but it does no harm to show it, again? You get a lot of fits, comes as separates and have a lovely soft velvet texture to me.

I knew it, I just had to double check and I wasn’t wrong as this Mina hair doesn’t have a picture/LM on the seraphim blog. You will see a little “mia” which of course stands for “Missing in action” and occasionally a shop/event doesn’t get their picture in in time for it to go on the blog so I’m dead chuffed my “pop in” to Mina’s has paid off.

UPDATE: Ha, Faith always says I don’t read her posts, whispers she’s right but I do scroll past the pictures which is why this looked familar as Faith blogged it just last week lol.
