The Challenge – sitting pretty

The new round of The Challenge is rolling along, this rounds theme is stone. I was really wishing and hoping that one of the participants would make a gert big statue – and they did! 22769 have this mahoosive statue called “The Garden Dreamer” as their offering , and it’s just perfect for your spaces. I placed mine on the water, just because I could – but really it would suit any sort of area. So there I was stood admiring it and then I noticed that it had POSES built right in ! Fifteen sitting animations to be precise, a real bonus – not only beautiful but useful . Head over and grab yours before this months round ends.

Garden delight – The Challenge Stone round

This round of The Challenge is really inspiring – I wanted to share the pieces from Cleo Design today – they are simply dreamy ! The fountain has the following:9 single sit anims..2 couple chat anims. It comes with the bamboo plant & stones, which are SO lovely. Please note because Iam dopey, I rezzed this and neglected to use the teeny little birdy that sits on the bowl – but I’m sure you wont forget it!

Love this bench – handy-dandy for courtyards,gardens, patios etc. Such lovely poses for singles and couples ( male,female anims..and 3 couple  chat anms.) Bench is just 3Li, plus you get the greenery with it. Don’t forget the prices are just for this current round of The Challenge. (Bench & bamboo $75L – Fountain & bamboo $100L)

The Challenge goes for Horror & Macabre

Perfect timing for your Halloween shopping, The Challenge has gone all creepy! Neverwish have these magnificent chairs out – 4Li and 23 unisex sits in each. Lots of different colours on offer so go take a peek.

Loved the hooded figure by 22769, the lantern he holds also illuminates, Little Llama has a dead cool set out of rug & coffee table – made to look like a Ouija board. Favourite from this round is from %percent – “Bat mobile” (great name!) various metallic finishes, they rotate and have a shed load of brilliant scary sound effects you can select to play! Will definitely have these out for fright night.

Oh my burgeoning inventory ! I’m afraid I just couldn’t resist buying this container styled home at the new round of Roulett3. It’s by [Since 1975], a store I have been keeping an eye on for a while. This quite simply is irresistabubble – Low Li (62) and just $374L at the event – who can resist. You get a HUD too, which you can use to alter some of the colours – such as window frames etc – nice touch. It does come as seen above, the base, the stones and of course the roof garden with vines and soil patch.

I’m in lurve with this gorgy retro patio set form %percent! Its got so many delicious colour tones in the menu – even Tiffany blue *faints*. So so so what sets it apart for me is the wonderful selection of animations and FOOD ! I’ve seen a lot of tables with food offerings in my almost ten years of SL – but this is different. Not the usual stuff by a long shot and each meal is so beautifully presented with fabbo eating animations. There are , of course, other poses – talking,reading etc for both males & females. This will be available in the upcoming Vintage fair – starts June 10th!

Meanwhile in the latest round of The Challenge bauwerk-22769 have set out these wonderful decor items. The gramaphone actually does play a oldtime record which is sweet, all verrrrry low Li and superbly detailed.

Alone in the desert

Oh oh oh! I almost missed this round of The Challenge – gawd. This months round is themed “desert” and there’s absolutely heaps on offer for everyone. %percent’s offering really caught my eye, it’s this juicy spikey cactus that has tiny cards to pop your own pics onto. I’ve already placed a few of mine to see how it works out – brilliant! At just 4 Li its a definite keeper for my home.

Also ht.home has a build for this round, desert adobe is a sweet little space – this is the smaller version that is just 24Li. So much detail , love the windows and doorway! You also get a larger styled one with a walled courtyard and wooden doors opening out onto the desert. This one comes in at just 30Li, a real treat if you’re looking for a build on the beach. I’ve also used just a couple of items from the mahoosive builders pack of boulders and caves that 22769 have out. The cave is fabulous and I really found the boulders useful. Great textures on these for a fantastic realist look.

The Farm (The Challenge)

A new round of The Challenge has begun and it’s really a fantastic theme this time. “Farm” is the theme and I’ve got some great garden type treats to share with you . Above is the Farm shed from Black Tulip, 100% original mesh and really low prim (uhm 27 I think) The doors open to reveal a spacious interior, so plenty of room to fill up with your gardening and ground work gear.

22769 have some adorable vege beds to scatter around, cabbages, carrots, beetroots & lettuce plus an empty one incase you’ve got your own vegetables. Just 2Li and so realistic – I know I will be using these in my SL garden for sure! Little teaser above of the huge amount of pieces from Cleo Designs. I adore the little tray, probably because I just LOVE french cheese.

Cleo Designs has released this collection for your garden / farm. The bench is super comfy and ever so pretty with its casually tossed blanket over the back and plump cushions to rest upon. There is also a hen-house with chickens, couple outside that are not linked so you can place them wherever you wish, and some inside with a nest of cracked eggs. There’s baskets of fruit, freshly collected eggs in a tin carrier and of course a small cold-frame with some plants getting ready to be planted outside.

Last but certainly not least is the “makeshift sink” by %Percent. Its simply gorgeous to look at, and its also animated yay! Lovely poses to wash your hands from a days hard graft in the garden plus others. The tap works and also drip drip drips, nice touch is the dripping sound – dead cute. Li of 9 and soft linked – which means you can mess around with the parts and position them as you please.

The Challenge – roaring 20’s

I couldn’t wait for this round of The Challenge – its Art Deco !22769 bauwerk have a fantastic set out for you, two easy chairs in a really spot on deco style. Also a side table, two types of rug and a floor lamp. The texturing on the chairs is to-die-for! I set it all up along with the sweet deco inspired fireplace from Enchant3D. Can you believe its just 2Li? Plain white marble surround with that lovely 20’s feel shape on the very top. Gorgeous gold fire screen before a really roaring flame effect fire (touch for on and off).
