Heads Up.(25Ld Tue).

Just a quicky because it’s TUESDAY and you know what that means?  My fav weekly event of 25Ld Tuesday.

Because I know that Belle Epoque only keeps it’s 25Ld offer out for a very limited time go now and not later.  There is a demo available and I do believe this pretty dress is prob a Maitreya fit only I snapped it up,  yes there is breakout at the back but I can either live with it or as I have done in this picture I popped a hair on that goes down the back and covers up the minor breakthrough. but try before you buy.

OK, Nuff said because I want to check out the rest of the list and I’ve only managed to log inworld late and although a lot of the sellers do leave their special offers out till next tue some remove them from sale quickly and I don’t wanna miss any goodies I may find useful.

BTW although a lot of the shops involved with this event send out the full list of shops it doesn’t always happen so if you want to make sure you get the list then the group you need to join is “25Lds Tuesday Connection” and that way you can get the list from there.

Stay Focused! (25Lds GG’s).

I’m trying my hardest to remain focused on the job in hand, landscaping our sim, but damn I’m so easily distracted esp when it’s a backdrop BUT don’t stop reading because there is a lot more than the backdrop/photo room I’m showing you in the Kraftwork shop.

How zingy is that yellow!

Just another view, because this is a backdrop rather than a room it means the 4th wall is missing so you get more camming space.  You also get a hud with 3 shades in it and the third is a superb dark blue.  Obviously not something everyone needs for their SLing but there are now a lot of, decor only, gifts at the LM for the Kraftwork shop inc this cutie.

It’s a little brum brum loaded with cacti and succulents.  A decor item only, I will say that at I think 14 prims maybe a bit primmy but you can’t deny it’s cuteness.

As I’ve said there is actually a few decor items, I remember showing you the concrete picnic table and chair set but since then there is a lot more set out for group members and I’m pretty sure than for your 25Lds joining fee you will find quite a few things for your home and garden.

PS There is also another skybox as a GG which is deffo a livable in one or maybe better as a shop.

Kraftwork

Everything 25Lds.

We got snow, we got snow, we got snowwwwww.  Not enough to make even a decent snowman but enough to make my heart warble.

Not free but at 25Lds for this green and a red version it’s a bargain add to that superb texturing and it’s a perfect OTT Christmassy/Winter gown.  I also actually bought the Sevil outfit, which also comes with a hairdo, and it too was worth every Linden but I didn’t take a picture.

You will have to shop for these on the Marketplace as there isn’t an inworld shop and you will also see that everything is only 25Lds.  I don’t know if the 25Ld is a temporary offer or if everything is always at that price but worth getting now not later in case it changes.  This outfit is on the first page but I’d also suggest you check the whole list of outfits before you make your mind up as there are some nice pieces and a lot seem to come with extra’s such as hair, shoes, Huds etc

This outfit does come with a bit of a disclaimer.  My AV is on the shorter side of average in SL but by no means am I a “short arse” as we say in RL but the skirt on this outfit does seem to have been made to fit an Amazonian.  I am hovering in this picture which is why you can see the red hem but when I’ve got my feet back on the ground the hem goes under the land…NOT an issue for me at all I still have no regrets.  The folding, texturing, the fits etc all make for a stunning look and of course, you can either hover and show the hem, stand on the ground and hide the hem OR of course you may find that you are the right height for the skirt.

UPDATE.

I wanted to show you the other outfit I bought for 25Lds and so I logged in and then the power to my house tripped and I crashed but I logged back in and took a quick snap just in case RL tripped me again.  Let me make this clear that this is NOT the hair that comes with this outfit,, trust me I know I’m totally spoilt with all the Mina hairs I have and the chance to wear one of the gray shades was too good to miss.

Again 25Lds and the top, which I’m keeping, and the skirts are separate and so can be worn with other items.

Damn looks like my computer crashing because of my RL power trip it looks like it’s made my SL settings go all screwy, so once I’ve updated this post, fortified myself with another cup of coffee I’m heading back inworld to reset my preferences!

Sim setting 2357(25Ld Tuesday).

I decided to take a break and work my way through the “25Ld Tuesday” list.  This is obviously a weekly event and it’s as obvious that the cost for everything is just 25Lds and in the past, I have found some amazing things at this super price.

This Walnut boat/cot/snuggle bunny thingy (turns out it’s a Fairy Bed) comes from Luas.  The examples they have in the shop are tiny but when you buy it you get this full sized AV one. Full sized it’s only 6 prims but I’m going to shrink mine right back down to the tinnie tiny size and either have it floating on our lake or nestled somewhere hidden in a shrub on our sim because shrunk right down it’s only 2 prims and super cute.

You actually get 2 options to buy 1 with single poses and 1 for couples I, of course, got the single poses one and it has some really good poses in it! Super nice, works really well with my AV.  Good poses are always a boost but of course, when shrunk down I won’t be able to use them.

I also never miss the opportunity to pick up the Belle Epoque 25LD  offer either which in this case is this over the top headdress.

It’s like a full English garden on “ya heed”! lol.   As you will know on the whole I’m not into bags and jewelry etc but when it comes to flowers in my hair I have a folder STUFFED with them I just can’t help it as in RL flowers in my hair, as well as ruffled blouses, knitted hats, and roll necked tops on me, look absolutely ridiculous on me so in SL I love wearing flowers in my hair.

PS to get the list just slap the sub board of one of the shops involved in it as I usually get a weekly notice this way or of course you can join the 25Ld Tue group.

PS I also picked up a couple of other 25Ld items but hey ho I like to leave a surprise of 2 for you to find for yourself.

Sweet or Sassy?

A very quick post.  AMD (Apple May Designs) has one of their Special offers out right now and since there is only a few more days to go grab I thought I’d do a quick post.

Although there are 2 mesh dresses the Sweet one is the one which is priced at 25LDs the “Sassy” is full priced which is fine by me as I would have chosen the Sweet one in any case.

Taken of course in my Nams setting with no picture editing because I not only wanted to show you the dress but also the skin and hair in what I consider to be the best SL Windlight setting.  The “dress” is composed of a slightly puffed out skirt with that high over waist and the belt to give your waistline some definition.  The top is a system layer which is needed if you want to pop on your Lolas and obviously I’ve got the “girls” on LOL.  I’m wearing the slightly sheer version but there is also a non sheer version for those who blush easily.  This outfit can of course be worn with or without the boobs and actually the same with the skirt and top can be worn as separates as well.

Quick mention on the hair, Daisy is another Mina special at the “Love Is In The Air” event.  Honestly that lady has been working overtime because she has so many new hairs out which is great.  I was tempted to show you one of the more zingier colours for a change but I decided to almost match my hair colour to my dress and so I went with almost a grey shade.  And as always her hairs come with a simple to use Hud for resizing and recolouring.

Even quicker mention on the skin because it’s one of the PumeC Group Gifts.  I’m just about to show you a new GG, at least it’s new to me, and I just thought I’d pop one of the other GG’s on. Although I’ve taken the photos in my Nams setting with this skin I have added blusher, lipstick and eyeshadow and in a way it just shows you that you can add as much as you want and change the overall look or just use them as they come.  The only reason I added some subtle make up to this skin was that this skin comes with a cat eye flick which I think made her look a little bit more sophisticated and I wanted a more innocent look for this outfit.  Since I have a make up addiction in  SL, RL as well LOL, I just used some of my own but you can buy Lippie and other extras for your skin direct from PumeC but I’ve never found a make up layer that doesn’t fit well.  Again I have to stress that you don’t get just a skin you get ALL of the Appliers etc

PS Check out the colour blending as well!  I don’t wear my Lolas often so look at the blending of the skin at the wrists and boobies.  PumeC skins blend so well and you don’t even need to wear a blending tattoo layer the match is that good and I promise I’ve not smoothed the picture at all.

PPS the Love is in the air is a big event but don’t worry because when you land your sent a site map which is so handy.  I’m a bit laggy today

Concrete is back.

Most surprised when a notice came through from a shop which seemed to have closed down such a long time ago but now due to people’s requests Concrete Flowers is back.  Albeit in a smaller form but some of the classics are there.

Most of the fun items are just 25Lds and best of all they are also trans which means if you know someone in world who is a bit naughty a bit cheeky then the perfect pressie is here for them.  Some of them are very rude like the dropped soap pose or the sandbox with a unusual “erect” build on it, lots of faiths faves ie wearbles etc.  I love the idea of sending someone a “stinky sock” as a Christmas pressie LOL.  I just picked up this case which comes with the simple small wearable one and of course the larger one with poses.

As I’ve said most of the “fun” items are just priced at 25Lds and Trans but there is also as selection of jewelry and also some really great rugs, sadly none rezzed for you to check out first but I have some and they’re definitely worth the 77Lds.  Great texturing and some come with those natural looking trip inducing wrinkles LOL.

This isn’t 25Lds or even 77lds but just 49.  This is the view from outside looking in and I’ve shown myself so you can get some idea of the sizing.  The snow is on the outside only and it’s lovely.

Although it’s a large single cube the shelving and curtains break that up.  This cost 49lds and is only 27prims.

 Concrete Flowers

Deadly sin.

I love it when I think a group is going to be expensive to join but when you check it out you realise that the cost is just a token and in this case it only cost me 25Lds!!! to join the Group.

I’m pretty sure that there are 3 Girl Group Gifts and nice to see an equal amount of male Group Gifts out as well.

This is the same sim as my previous post about the Princess Bed.   Apart from a small shop in the centre this whole watery sim is set out for people to use at their leisure either for photo taking or just hanging out.  Whats even more generous is that even though there are props and poses for anyone if you join the FREE group you can rezz your own prop/pose.  I know I’m stating the obvious esp to our regular readers but it goes without saying watch the prim count of what you rezz and clean up.  Also I think although nudity isn’t frowned on I believe the  owner would probably prefer you keep your wibbly bits covered.

The shop itself,8f8 MP Store, has rows of Gachas and although this isn’t a massive selection everyone will know the decor items from here as they’re such amazingly well textured, low primmed items of decor and so reasonably priced you see these props everywhere from people’s homes and gardens to sims that invite people in to use for themselves.  I’ve also noted that the Free excellent chairs from a previous post are still there.

The sim itself is owned by black cloud (theblackcloud.oh) and she deserves a pat on the back for allowing anyone to use her sim because for every sim which is laid out with so many props and poses and free for all to use takes up a lot of time and also a lot of money and I don’t think people who do this sort of thing get the thanks they deserve.

So back to the skins.  The one  I am wearing is called Maartje and she  comes with a lot of Appliers ie SLink Hands & Feet, WowMeh, Tango, Loud mouth, Phat Azz.  One skin just has the SLink Hands & Feet Applier and the other just the Lola Tangoes.  Have to confess I don’t seem to be able to get the SLink Hands/feet one to work on the second skin I could of course use the SLink Hud and match up the skin colour myself but I’m lazy and spoilt with all the PumeC skins and Appliers I already have.  These skins come from 7Deadly s(K)ins and as mentioned t cost ONLY 25Lds to join the group which is a massive bargain for what you get.

There are 2 LMS one for the front of the shop and the other for the Group Gifts and Discount section.  If that LM doesn’t take you straight there then there is a TP to both the Group Gifts and another floor for mens skins.
