I’ve always been a big fan of Imegica – and have lived in several of their homes over the years. The texturing is exquisite and the designs are uber modern with some lovely vintage features.
I spotted this build “Bloomwood” on the market place today for just $1L ! Nabbed it straight away to check it out and was not disappointed. All the usual quality of Imegica and such a large living space for only 99Li. The peeling wooden stilt legs are so decorative and useful if you’ve got land that’s not perfectly flat. Two airy living spaces, one with a marble style floor and one carpeted – which I think after wandering around Id use as the sleeping space.
Both floors have balcony areas with smooth operating doors – perfect for a few plants, seats etc. I really cant fault it ! There are a few other dollarbie gifts including a couple of super cute décor items that appear to be new.
A new round of $60L Special Weekly has started and RT designs have another brilliant build for you. This rather fabulous castle comes with the gardens, a cave below, one main room and a smaller room above, all the landscaping in also in the pack – I admit I didn’t buy this one as its not *my* style but it might be yours. You can find it in the rezzer outside so take a look before purchasing.
Spotted this gorgeous luxury penthouse style sky home for absolutely free last night. Very smartly built, and only 18Li. Its all one space, open plan – with one step up to the space by the large window. Art work and shelving is included but optional as its modify and can be removed if not to your taste. Fantastic choice of views from the panoramic window operated by a small box to the left hand side. If I still used a sky home as an office for the blog – Id definitely use this !
Since Faith has found some great freebies I decided that today I would check out old LM’s which is how I came to the M&M Creations shop and WOW.
I will say that the photos are NOT of the same building, I ended up taking dozens of pictures of all the buildings and couldn’t chose which one to show you so in the end I decided I’d show you just a hint of what you will find at this shop.
This is a “Full Perm” shop which also has full builds/homes out for sale and I love each and everyone of them.
I’ve just spent a most pleasant 45 mins wandering and camming around some of the best “themed” homes.
I say “themed” in the sense they have a rustic/RP/Gor/village/mansionesque feel. I really do hate to “label” the style of these builds as I think they have something for everyone. The attention to detail is just excellent from the soot stained fireplaces to the hidden room with marble seats etc.
The quality of texturing is second to none, that big grinding wheel turns around and behind it is a built in stone sink.
The person who built these builds has such a brilliant eye for details. Take for example this stone sink and the more modern window which opens to a deep window sill and you can see the older outside window frame. Anyone who lives in the UK or has visited an old castle knows that the walls are feet thick and have often when they’ve been modernised have a new window frame inside.
Every home and every room has something which makes you go “oooh, what a great idea”.
I was actually going to buy and live in this split level cottage once.
You may remember at the begining of this year we completely stripped our sim back, got a new terrain map, and then rebuilt from scratch and this build was going to be my new home. Even though I didn’t go for it in the end I can still see how it would have looked. I won’t tell you the prims because I must be wrong as they’re just way too low so I’m not sure about them.
The builds are split over 2 levels so check the ones on the ground and then hop on the TP for this cottage and some more builds.
Now for the downside, price tag. Sometimes I love a home so much I buy it even though I know that the chances are I will never ever use it, just knowing I have it in my invent is enough but although I really do think you’re getting your moneys worth I can’t justify it in this case as we are talking about 1000++++Lds.
However I can’t stress enough that you are paying for such great quality and attention to detail and remember, Christmas is around the corner so why not treat the RL and SL you a dream home to live in as a Christmas Treat.
PS. Don’t rush over and buy as I’m going to do another post on homes. As much as I hope you fall in love this these buildings I’d hate for you to see my next post and then have “buyers remorse”.
Im always stalking the Inverse store on the market place – awaiting their latest intro offer on their newest homes. This one is called “Porto” and I really like it. You’ll need to hurry if you want it as they are pretty fast shelving the offer and then its full price – I got this yesterday and its just a 48 hour thing! You get three versions, unfurnished, furnished with shadows, furnished without shadows. (full furnished with shadows (262 LI) – full furnished without shadows (262 LI) – unfurnished (143 LI)) I like to catch them on a promo then sift through the furniture and grab what I like for my own home – yes I am a scavenger. The build is lovely and as usual most of the furnishings come with menus with adult and PG animations. I wont write any more but the link is below so you can read all about it and grab it while you can.
Always love this hunt – if you’re impatient – like me – you can just buy the prize of $25L – I had my miserly head on yesterday and determinedly struck out to find the gift from Loggin Off Homes. Hurrah I found it ! So for just $1L I had my paws on this rather fabulous Artists cabin. Its so well made and at only 29Li it wont break the prim bank either. Check the blog for all other participating merchants and clues to find the gifts.
Tue is over but fortunately, this 25Ld Tue item is still out for us.
A “slave” chair which is so pretty I think this will fit into any home. The slave poses are pretty standard, which by that I mean good but well known ie Nadu but the inclusion of a non-slave option is a brill idea.
I don’t often pose on furniture but I wanted to show that this is sized for a proper AV as it does look a bit small pet-sized in my first picture. Only 3 prims as well!
The chair also comes with a Hud and in the Krescendo shop you can try the hud and poses for yourself before you buy. I don’t know how long this will remain out so I’d go now, just follow the bright arrow on the floor.
Remember as you walk down the corridor to pause at the end as there is a whole load of freebies for all and I spotted a couple of new things. Home and Garden stuff only.
PS. There is an adjust for you to change your position but I was too lazy and I don’t think this bit of sinking is an issue.
