Absolutely loving the new dress “Boss” from Neve, you’ll find it for sale at Shiny Shabby. You can add or remove shine – with the shine on you get a more leather look which looks fantastic. I wanted a softer style so removed it. You can also choose to alter the colours of the cuffs and neckline – I chose a delicate cream to go with the pink.

A new round of IBTC is on and Neve is right there with this rather splendid sundress. This is “alone” and comes in packs of four colours & patterns. I choose to show the patterned red version. Lovely plump satin straps topped off with a big sloppy bow, with a small slit at the front. Maitreya, Maitreya petite and Legacy , Legacy perky fits.

I had to scrap the pictures I took last night as this FLF offer from Mina suits this 25Ld Gacha prize perfectly.

I don’t think Mina has ever had an FLF offer out, that’s “Fifty Linden Friday” if you’re new to SL or if she has it was so long ago I’d forgotten.

“Luane” is obviously very “Hippy Chic” and of course you get a hud to change the hairband colour. This is my copy but I can see from the picture used that as usual with Mina each purchase gets you a fat pack of colours, ie 30 blondes or 30 browns or 30 pastels etc and the full 12 texture hud for the hairband.  I’ll put the link to the Seraphim blog so you can check it out as well as the full FLF list.

Plus, just another reminder as a lot of us do have budgets to live to and that’s to check out the Gacha’s in Mina’s shop. I believe all but one of them are only 75Lds, obviously, you can price check and also try the demos out but again some of my fav hairs are in those Gachas.

Which brings me to the dress as it too is a Gacha prize.

I picked it up from “Sweet Lies”.  All of the Gacha’s in the shop are just 25Lds which is horrible as at that price and some super prizes it was really hard to just pick one.  I picked this outfit purely because the prizes were all this dress just in different colours.  You will also find that the non Gacha outfits are also super bargains as I know the ones I price checked were just 69Lds.

As for the “Freebie(s)”.  There is a …Group Gift of an oversized crown and I really did want it but even wearing the Group Tag it wouldn’t work.  It might just have been a glitch so I will give it another try when I return to LM grab.  To make up for that I’m showing you these very pink shoes which come from the “Add Design” shop.

BTW out of curiosity I checked the “Sweet Lies” Marketplace shop and you can see that they used to see very RP and Gor themed outfits which is quite different from their new Kawaii, girlie, soft designs they have now.

I decided to take a quick snap of the house at Mina’s main shop which I frequently use as a backdrop.

I’d love to own this house and since I don’t I get the second best thing and I use it as a backdrop. Obviously, no one gets rezzing rights, not even me, but the well decorated inside and landscaped outside seem to be open for all to use. Add to that a super flattering windlight setting and you have a great place for some “point and click” pics.

These other pictures were also taken on the Mina sim but nearer to the shop, I just thought this stylish promenade made a better backdrop for this whole look.

The hat is obviously not the Dollarbie although I’m sure that this hair/hat set it a gift for Noobs, ie new residents to SL under 30 days.  I could be wrong but if you know someone new(ish) then send them to Mina’s.  Also, I never mention it often enough but inside of Mina’s are Gacha’s and some of my fav hairs are Gacha prizes.  So a brilliant way for someone on a budget to get quality hair for not an unreasonable price, I think they’re 75Ld a try.

OK enough waffle and now for a surprising win with this Dollarbie dress.

I picked up a few Dollarbies from the “Higgle” marketplace shop and even though I suspected most would end up in the trash I had my fingers crossed for this one and it worked.  A classic SL design with that bold retro pattern really does stand out.

This dress does come with lots of mesh bod fits and a different hat, belt, necklace and sunglasses which emm..nope.  Tart it up with your own stuff as I can see this with a big chunky necklace or earrings and an oversized bag.

Fifty Linden Friday – what did I buy?

One thing stood out to me this week and its this dress from The Secret Store called “Florence” – Lacey little number with a belted waist and button fastening at the nape of the neck. Two colours to choose from – this chocolate and a rusty orange. To be honest I was tempted to buy another full price one as its so cute – but my budget demands I don’t boohoo ! ($250 each full price) I’ve ear marked it though for when funds are better ❤

4 Seasons Event – Free

Had a walk around this event yesterday, didn’t realise there was also a hunt and free gifts until I spotted them ! This summertime dress was out as a free gift from Ari Pari – lots of mesh body fits included plus a Hud with four pattern choices. Simple but very pretty! Posters are up about the hunt, the prizes range from 5L – 10L , you’re looking for shells !
