Boo Hoo!!! (15Ld Ricielli Hunt, Info Only).

This picture has nothing to do with the hunt it’s just a pretty picture as I can’t really show you what I really wanted to show you.

When I logged in it was a case of Woo Hoo as there is now a NEW Hunt going on at Ricielli and a whole board of temping quality items for only 15Lds each and this is where the “Boo Hoo” comes in.

There is a colour code to show you which fit the item comes in and so I almost made a mistake and bought something that didn’t actually come in my fit as the Legacy and SLink HG fit code colours are very similar so make sure you pick the right one. Fortunately, it’s easy to see what’s in the pumpkin before you buy it which is why I spotted I’d made a mistake

Then I did buy a top and even though it’s a SLink HG fit it doesn’t fit my SLink HG body.  The mesh texture and chains bury themselves into my AV and I cannot/do not want to show you a picture of this because I DO NOT want to put you off this hunt. This, as always with the Ricielli Hunt is a fab way of picking up some shop quality goodies for your invent and in all the years I’ve treated myself to something from these hunts this is the FIRST time ever something just hasn’t worked.

If you really want to make sure something is going to fit then most if not all of the hunt item are just a single colour but for other colours, they’re for sale at full price in the shop and this means you can try the demo out before you buy.

Trained Monkeys.(Super Marketplace Bargains).

Squashies has done it again and found some cheapies on the Marketplace.

She’s found a shop called “ML” and I think most of us will be able to assess the quality just by looking at the pictures and making up our own minds as to whether they’re worth it or not.  Since this “Tippy Toe” sneaker is an SL classic I didn’t think twice and popped it into my basket.  You can’t see it from this angle but if you look closely you will see this pair have the metal spikes.  Don’t worry if this isn’t to your taste as there is a whole selection of this style but with different textures for just 9Lds each.

I also bought the boots with the over the knee socks and for 15Lds they’re “ok”.  I’m not “ragging” on them and teamed up with an Autumnal outfit they will look good.

I’m going to have to stop scrolling through this shop as I’ve just bought the “Princess Dress” for 5Lds and I’ve spotted the cropped sweatshirts which again for only 9Ld look like really good additions for most peoples invents.

PS.  BUT I won’t be keeping any of this but I won’t be binning them either because guess what?  TRANS, non-copy naturally, but that means if you don’t want to keep them I’m pretty sure someone will be more than happy to receive them.

Goodbye my Fishie Friend. (Sale 25Lds).

It’s sad to see a shop that has been in SL for such a long time shut its doors for the last time but Fae Eriksen, the Boss Lady of Fishie Strawberry, for whatever reason has decided to do just that.  As a lovely goodbye gift, everything in her shop is priced at only 25Lds and did I go crazy?

Just a bit but so did Faith and I suspect Shi, who yet again dropped me this fab link.

I’m not showing much of what I bought because I’d recommend you still the demos before you buy as the sizes are a mixed bag.  I think the older items are in the basic mesh fit and the newer items are of course in mesh body and standard mesh fits etc so again try before you buy but old or new the quality is too good to resist.

PS. This is a bigger shop than you think, so once you’ve checked out the entrance room go past the customer desk and there is more in the back.  Plus I have blogged freebies from this shop before and there is no reason to assume they’re still not there.  You will find them on the wall were the front door it.

If you get it wrong you need to hang you Lelutka/Catwa/System head in shame.

I did try to take a picture of the top but with my SLink body, I couldn’t really get a good enough fit esp since I also wanted to get a close up of the texturing which is pretty darn good.  A nice amount of colours in the hud and although I couldn’t wear it again you may have the right mesh bod or an alpha that you can use.

A totally new shop to me called “Spectacledchic” and yes I did think I would find it full of glasses but nope, it’s a very small shop with an even smaller selection of clothing but very nice stuff.  This does seem to be slightly different in that you can only buy fat packs so the prices can appear to be a bit steep (I think they average 500Lds) but you do get a really interesting selection of textures and colours.  There is a pack of sheer blouses which I have to say is pretty darn tempting but because it’s 500Lds and for some reason it also looks like everything is gonna just be a Maitreya fit.  I can only hope that as the shop grows, which I’m sure it will, the owner will expand the mesh fits as well.

Although I had noticed the restricted fits I still decided to try my hand at the Gacha (75Lds) as lots of the styles look as though I could make them work and in fact the skirt I won is wearable it’s not the prize I had wanted to wear.

I was mooching around a shop and because the outside of this shop is so beautifully landscaped I took a stroll and it turns out that it’s also the new(?)home of Caboodle.  Caboodle isn’t a free group but it has some excellent gifts out for us and I know for sure that some of them are still in my invent and will remain there but to me this is a new sporty outfit.

You get a 3 shade hud for the top and pants, white, gray and black, I think the black ones have a shiny satin look so they can be worn for evening wear as well.  You know me and sporty stuff, I love it and have an RL addiction as well, especially if it’s lycra and sucks the spare tires in and firms up the flab.

Sadly though this gift only comes in Freya, Hourglass and Maitreya and I’m wearing the Freya pants and hourglass top as these were the 2 fits I found the easiest to wear.  I didn’t have much bother getting a good fit on the leggings but damn only the Gazunga size would fit. So when you pop over check the fits of the gifts, unintentional rhyming, and of course you will also be able to work out what should be an easy to wear fit even if it’s not your actual mesh body sizing.

By Golly,she was right, IMPROLIBRA1 spotted that if you click on the blue makeup/beauty case on the desk it’s free for all.

You get sent 5 colours and each colour, apart from the red, comes with a textured option.  I’ve put the gray one in front because even men need to decor their SL homes and at 2 prims you can have matching his ‘n’ her grooming boxes next to each other on a vanity.

I swear I’m not superstitious butttttt (Cheapies & Freebies).

Blimey for me personally Friday the 13th has certainly lived up to it’s rep and I wasn’t going to do a post but then I read a notice from Mina Nakamura and it was a case of “YESSS” something has finally gone right.

OK, First of all, I am wearing a super bargain cropped sweater which only cost 10Lds or in my case 20Lds as I forgot I already have it and in fact wear it a lot! I picked it up from the MP(Marketplace) as the MUTE shop isn’t inworld anymore.  Although I’ve had this particular top now for years it’s still a fine and wearable basic jumper with a colour Hud of 8 options.

As it happens everything in the Mute MP shop is only 10Lds and I can guarantee that it is great quality.  If I remember correctly the owner of Mute was shutting up shop and she decided to go out with bang and reduced everything to 10Lds and people went “cray cray” grabbing as much as they could but then she, Jayzee Netizen decided she would keep her shop open but the prices would stay the same.  There was a bit of a backstory to it which I am not too sure on but the long as short of it was a lot of people could buy some really affordable wearables.  The inworld shop got closed down years ago but the stuff is now all up in the MP.  If in doubt just buy the one item to check the quality but I bet you will log back in for more.

So basically you have just 24 hours to slap a board on Sat and then hit the other one on Sunday and since there doesn’t seem to be anything about having to join a group I’m gonna assume each slap is for free LOL.

The note also mentions that because this is a popular event then cut back on you Avatar impact, there is actually going to be a security orb which I assume will just send you the message to cut your impact if you exceed the 50.000 limit.  This is for all the shops I believe and not just Mina’s.  This isn’t going to be an issue for most of us, even I barely scrape over the 30.00o but I do know that some hairs and Bento heads can cause an issue so ditch them and so everyone inc yourself can snag with minimum lag…Ooo I rhymed.

Don’t give in.(Super bargains so read the blurb).

Just as I was about the throw the towel in and give up looking for “that” ooo freebie/gift etc I put on an old pair of Ricielli shoes and YES!

Ricielli always has one of those paid for (non) hunts, so basically there is a big board and on it is what is in each hunt item and for a piddling 15Lds you can buy yourself shoes, dresses, tops, pants etc

The hunt which is going on in the main shop is actually still the Valentines one, TBH I was expecting it to have changed to a Halloween themes one but more about that later.   The TEMPTATION is so bad as there so much and I know from all the stuff I’ve got in the past its bloddy good stuff but honestly, I could just go Bat Sh*t crazy and buy the lot but this time I just bought the top LOL.  This top comes in 2 colours this dark greay and a pink one.  The shoes I am wearing but obviously, you can’t see are old “hunt” items and then there are these pants.

The one thing a lot of people may miss about the Ricielli shop is that there is a secret shop STUFFED with ALL of the old hunt items.  In fact, there are old Halloween items there as well.  Some of them are pretty old now but it’s hard to know which are old and which are the newer stock because the Ricielli stuff just doesn’t seem to age.  I picked up these leather pants from the old hunt section and for 15Lds and I thought they came in a limited 3 colour palette but in fact, you get a really good colour hud option with the ability to change the belt and hoops as well as the main body of the pants.

The top and pants come in so many mesh fits honestly you will have no problem finding the one for you or of course if you’re a non-mesh person then you will easily find an alpha to suit.  I also think when you click on the item before you buy it tells you whats in it so you can check for yourself.

PS. I couldn’t help it plus I think “Bridget” the hair I am wearing goes great with this outfit but Bridget is one of the Mina Gacha hairs that I adore.  It only costs 100Lds a try and although obviously, the colour palette you win is a risk you don’t just get 1 shade you get a whole colour palette of that shade.  Again you can try the Demo out first and if you like Bridget but don’t want to risk the colours then check out Faith and I don’t mean Faithless Babii lol.  Faith is another Mina with that curly, hippy chic look to it.
