Stocking up for Fall (Free)

If you’re looking ahead to the cooler months and thinking of shedding those teeny weeny t shirts – get over to B.D.R. The store is undergoing a total revamp and looks superb. To the left of the desk you will find a couple of boxes of free-to-all items, to the right of the desk are the group gifts. The group has always been free to join. On the left hand side of that group gift wall are some snuggly sweaters and this super cardigan/jacket.

You get a ginormous Hud with it too, plenty of plain knits and patterns, so easy to slip on over jeans, leggings or skirts. I did treat myself to a pair of boots whilst I was there – have been looking for a while et voila there they were – will show them later ❤

Snuggle up (Free & Cheap)

I found out the place I bought quite a few inexpensive sweaters from is no more “sob” so I had a mission, find a few sweaters for this winter at low prices – here’s what I found – only showing the keepers though! This cost me just $10L @ Baby Monkey and you get a massive Hud with all the colours you could possibly need – that’s 32 colours to be precise. Fits are: 5 x standard sizes – I’m wearing the medium over my Slink Physique body, works a treat. Definitely a style I would wear in real life – really lovely, there are a lot more sweaters at the price point in this store so take a good look.

Close contender for my fav was this from Searen, super cozy and snuggly, and long ! Fits for Maitreya and Slink plus a Hud with 7 beautiful colours included – for only $1L !

Last up, I found this intriguing little number from Sapphire, plain white with a highly decorative motif on the back. Now the thing that let it down (for me) are the sleeves, and how they reacted to my mesh hands – IE: my hands kept on appearing through them – your mileage may vary though ! Fits included are: fitmesh Tonic TMP Slink Maitreya Belleza Ebody. Cost: $1L.

Sweater time hooray!

Love this time of year – I went on a mad shop yesterday to stock up on a few new sweaters in real life – and BOOM Neve releases a new one too!  Pop along to the latest round of The Liaison Collaborative to scope it all out. There is also a really neat little skirt to go with this but I am so hooked on Neve’s “Bootlegger” pants I can’t take them off ! (I think these will be at the Neve main store by now – if you haven’t tried them go take a peek – pants & boots all-in-one) Loads of choices on the sweaters, sweet wiggly lines down the shrug, brights, and of course neutrals – which I’m showing you here. You can have the top cropped if you prefer and play with the colours of the shrug too. My pose is from Poppycock – a firm favourite pose maker of mine, always such adorable props to go with them. This is from the “Dear Autumn” Gacha at the same event as the Neve gear – I couldn’t resist – I did try! This prop comes with all the props you see above, the cat, the fence (which is colour change, as is the grass) – it’s all wearable which is fabulous as you can use it anywhere! I decided to check out the shop next to Meander and it’s a name I do recongise but I’m not sure if I’ve ever bought anything from this shop and so when I get back inworld I’ll type the name into my invent and see what pops up (I did that but apart from the demos and these shoes nothing else popped up).

This is a big shop and it’s stuffed with temptation.  Oh my Lord, I only bought the one item but I could easily have lost control.  As it was I just picked up a load of demos, which I will probably bin without even trying them on because it will be like punishment as I know they will look great but do I need more jumpers, pants etc?  Nope but I can never have too many shoes and these come with a very reasonable price tag of 60Lds.

As soon as I spotted them, and the price tag, they were going to be mine as I honestly do not have this style of shoe in my invent…yeah I know I’m fishing for excuses for yet another pair of shoes.  Anyhow, because the demo is only for the fit and its colourless so I’ve taken this picture just in my nams setting so you can see the colour/texture as I see it.

There are more discounted items but when you look at them don’t turn around because on the other wall are the Group Gifts.  The cost of joining the siss boom group is 500Lds but there are a lof of gifts, 34 I believe in total and some really good pieces.  For that initial free you really do get a lot so check them out.  Go on be brave and check the rest of the shop as well, there is some lovely sweaters in the Winter section.

UP,UP and AWAY.(12Lds Offers).

I think this is a new event or at least new to me and every month on the 12th it starts, stalls and stalls of a bit of everything and keeping in theme of the number “12” lots of gifts which do cost 12Lds but everyone seems to have a picture to go with them so thats great because it means you can pick and choose.

There is a nice mix of stuff ie clothes, shoes, hair and this…

Kismet for me because this prop balloon, one of the 12Ld offers, is from a shop I’ve bought so many poses and props from in the past and only a couple of days ago I had rediscovered them in a long forgotten folder and they’re still such good poses.  I think the only reason I stopped using Image Essential poses/props is that I have so many poses now and they just got swallowed up in my invent.  When I log back inworld I will add the link to the IE (Image Essential) shop so you can check that out.

I actually picked up more than this balloon but then I got “Hangry” so I decided to just use this one picture because as I said all the gifts are clearly marked with not just the contents but also fits and sizes so you can go and pick and choose for yourself.

PS The balloon is 25 prims, comes with single and couple poses and also can fly around with simple controls or hover over your home/sim and yes I am dangling from it butt naked.

Sweater time

Ohlala its time to re-think your winter wardrobe – I love love LOVE this time of year, as we hurtle towards winter but still have the prettiness of Autumn. So so so Neve have released a bunch of pretties to tempt you into. Above is just one the “laced” range of cropped sweaters, this one is from the “skullie” pack, and it’s just adorable. 21 motif  with sweet laced details up each side. Of course all the usual sizes catered for – Includes Standard Sizes XXS, XS, SM, M –  Maitreya Lara Fitted- Belleza Isis & Freya Perky Fitted – Slink Physique& Hourglass Fitted. I’m also wearing the recently released jeans , brilliant for the season. Got my new bike from Fashiowl the other day, its gloriously sweet with poses built right in – and PUPPIES – who can resist!

This is the leather version of “laced”, coarser chunky ribbed knit look (which I so enjoy). Great leather panels at each side with the lacing – yummy.

Brrrr !

So alrighty ! We’re dropping into the Fall arena pretty swiftly and there’s heaps of new gear around for the season. Neve have released another bundle of goodies with some really unique fiddly bits. Above I’m wearing the “zeezee” leggings, this scrumptous teal colour is from the lively pack, now the coolio thing is with these little darlin’s you will never need to stress about that old “legging – boot” scenario again hurrrah! In the HUD, is a wee bit of trickery that allows you to alpha out for boots of different lengths. I didn’t have to use it with these stitched western boots form DUH! – however I did try it out with other pairs and it’s SO brill. I’ve teamed the leggings up with a gorgeous new Autumnal sweater called “campus”, various packs of this in store, this is the stripe version. The HUD lets you remove the undershirt and recolour it, you all know I adore a bit of versatility.

These western boots by DUH! come in a whole heap of colours (I’m showing just a few here), they came out a while back but are so darn handydandy I use them a lot. Only $40L per colour, fat pack available too.

Another version of the zee zee leggings, a rather delicate tone from the floral pack. Over the top Im wearing the “Breeze” top, the HUD allows you to recolour the insert shirt also. There is a lattice version of this that’s ever so pretty – go take a gander and grab up a few free demo’s .

Here I am pottering in my SL garden and wearing the breeze top in brown from the neutral collection over the zee zee leggings (also neutral) This sweater is more organic and sort of nubbly. I thought it was just perfect for tottering about outside in no?

What you can’t see above are my fabulous boooots from DUH! Gawd I love these and I don’t know how I didn’t see them before in the store. These are the combat boots, such a lovely array of colours to choose from, because I’m so deadly dull I of course chose beige . Just $50L per pair, basics pack $100L, fat pack uhm…$200L I think. Nifty touch to resize function and you don’t need mesh feet for these – nice !
