Zan pointed this gift out to me and I decided to blog it – animal print isnt really my thing BUT I actually really liked the style once on. Oops, fortunately, I spotted this quickly and so I’m doing a quick edit of this post as these are not free they’re dollarbies.

I will say that when I find something in SL which is not only free or cheap but has a unique style and quality it just makes my day and this skirt with its big hud of plain and highly patterned options is a KEEPER!

I think it is actually called the “Balloon skirt” and if you look closely you will see the bottom hem has an elasticated look to it.

The top is also a gift and I’m glad I decided to try it out as although it does come with a hud of slogans/picture worn on the front I spotted that you can remove the slogan which for me personally makes it more wearable.

There is also 2 hairs, I did try one with 3 hats inc but I couldn’t get it to fit my head and tbh I didn’t want to fiddle so I will leave them as a surprise for you.

Then check the Arata group notices as well because in there you will find free Maitreya bento nails.

As for fits, limited to I believe a Maitreya body. As it happens a really good fit for me so don’t let that put you off trying them out. Then use the TP to the discount floor as there are some Kawaii dress fatpacks for really good prices.

Backdoor at Mina’s. (New Mina hair & Freebie).

Maya is not only the name of the New Mina hair it’s also the name of the outfit I’m wearing.

At first glance, this is a simple hair with of course the now standard super big fatpack hud of unique colours that you won’t get anywhere else.

Even the “style hud” isn’t new as quite a few of Mina’s newer hairs now come with the option to play with the styling of it.  NO What is new is if you look closely at the top picture, the front “strand” has been coloured differently from the rest of the hair. I picked 2 colours to make it stand out a bit more and as you can see the blend between the 2 shades is smooth. In this bottom picture I’ve not only made the colours more subtle but look closely you can see in this case that coloured strand is just one side.  The style hud basically allows you to have 2 strands either side of your face, only 1 side or no colour strands at all.  You use the same colour hud for the main head and with a colour slider, you basically can go wild with your hair.

As always you NEED to try this for yourself and since Uber hasn’t opened it’s doors yet you may as well go to Mina’s and try it for yourself.  You get a fully interactive demo and of course, it’s LAG FREE!

As for the outfit when I typed Maya into my invent not only did the New Mina pop up so did a whole set of buildings/streets and this free outfit.  I did blog it a long time ago and it’s so good I had to go check it’s still out and it is.  It does have a very ethnic/hippy chic look to it especially the baggy pants.  Usually, I’m not keen on “baggy pants” but the folds/creases etc and this dark rich texturing is why I’ve kept them all this time.

I know I am probably being a bit slow about this but there is an event by Seraphim called The Outlet – from what I can tell its a collection of really terrific designers with a discounted items for sale. I really cant tell from their web site when the items are removed or when it begins? Anyhooooo I hopped over there, grabbed up a couple of hair do’s for $125L and then I spotted THIS ! I have had the green eyed monster since Zan got her Teegle horse – I’ve watched it, how it moves..and I REALLY wanted one. Prims are a real issue though, we couldn’t have two out – and I refuse to remove my other beloved pets ! Sooo imagine my delight when I saw this at the Outlet event – mmhm a Teegle horse rezzer ! You can have it set up with a horse on display – around 38Li for the rezzing station and horse BUT you can also rez a 2Li rezzing station wooo! You get the choice of allllll types of horses to ride with all the bells & whistles on, it is a considered purchase at $3500L but a real deal if you’ve got the dosh – frankly its awesome and I am so so happpppy!

Ohhhh by the way – if you liked those Paper.Sparrow jeans & top @ Free Dove, you can get more colours and designs for both items for just $35L a pop at the mainstore. I added a couple of jeans colours and a couple more tops – at that price its a shame to miss !

Collabor88 – what did I buy? (and FREE stuff)

Managed to squeeze myself into collabor88 for a gander and decided to by the new D!va hair – purely because I just haven’t fancied any of their new releases lately and this one looked quite sweet. Very layered scruffy style that I adore – and only $188L per colour pack. My chair is the freebie, by DH and is totally gorgeous ! Just “add” it straight away et voila you are sat in style – perfect for relaxing anywhere !

What did I buy (New Feature)

Hi loves – thought it was about time we had a new feature – Zan and I both show a lot of what we have found for free or very cheap , so I’m going to show you what I actually shelled out my hard earned $$$ for. (I did find a FREE gift though!) Let me know if its of interest to you !

I can never ever resist a back drop, especially from Minimal – they are always really well done and great for building up a scene within it or using it as shown. This one is called Stockholm Street and it does come with a tree to use also. Considered purchase for me at $799 but I always use them multiple times – so a good workhorse.

Next I snapped up a Wasabi hair do called Deva, lovely scruffy casual style that has the added bonus of some star and pearl hair clips – nice touch! Great length for all the winter sweaters that are sure to be bought in the next few months. Good Hud with texture change for the slides, roots and solid hair colours.

I just couldn’t say NO! Zan and Player already know I am a sucker for anything Christmas related – and here we are, D-Lab have this adorable wooden ornament / tree out for sale – uhoh its bought ! Two versions available a coloured and a wood – ohmydays so much happening, Santa on his sleigh spinning around, a space ship circling, a train and more and more – only 9Li!

Last up is the Alaskametro Holly lipsticks – great price @ $95L – I received $7L in a refund I think as I’m in the group? Grab the FREE nail polish to go with it – in the gift box below fabulous! Looks like the first day mania of the event has slowed down as I got into the Cam Sim easily.
