Nasty, Dirty,Cheap Sh*t.(Marketplace).

While I was on the Marketplace I found a shop called “Siden” and because there wasn’t a link to an inworld shop I decided to buy a couple of demos, 0Lds of course, to check out the quality and the quality is excellent. I then spotted when checking the creator’s name on the demos, Sooden Ren, that there is, in fact, an inworld shop.

The inworld shop really is just to give you a hint of what’s on offer because there is a lot less in the inworld shop than there is in the Marketplace shop but it was nice to see it inworld.  I know what I’m showing you is almost pretty standard for a grunge/dystopian type shop but since this was already set up I just pointed and clicked.  The Marketplace shop has so much more in it and much more unusual items such as a barrier made up of kitchen tables, a skybox which looks like it will make a pretty good backdrop for me or for someone who likes to live and play in that sort of environment and many more big and small things and all very reasonably priced.

You seem to be able to get a demo for everything so I’m logging out of SL and fetching myself a cup of coffee, putting Judge Judy on the TV and scrolling through the Marketplace shop to see everything before I make my mind up.

Bloody Hell.(Freebies).

If you’re going to an inworld Halloween event you don’t have to spend a penny to stand out from the crowd.

This dress is an old Victorian one I think I won from a Gacha a long time ago and when you team it up with today’s Freebies from Haro and then slap on the strongest Body/Face light you WILL stand out.  The “bag head” is the first Freebie and it’s a em bag on the head, ok slightly more than that because a nice touch is it blinks lol. So those crosses change to a line as though you’re blinking.  There is a Hud with this but I didn’t really pay it too much attention but I think you can change the shade etc.    It also has a noose around the neck.

The other freebie is the bloody umbrella.  Comes with a really nice hud of textures and it can drip blood as well.  I made the wrong choice for this picture, ie clear plastic with bright blood, and as you can see it’s blending in too well lol.  No pose comes with this so I’ve used one of my own and if you want to rezz it as a prop then it’s 14prims.

Both of these come from a shop called Haro which is a shop that specialised in clothes and add-ons for what I’m going to assume is a super Kawaii little shape/AV called Kemono and there are other freebies but they are designed to fit this shape but you never know you may find something from the other freebies that will work for you.

Another Easy Monday Freebie.

So I spend some time unpacking my Pumpkins and I couldn’t help but notice a lot of spooky tattoos and since I’m a lazy person I don’t really wear them but I was surprised at the fact they came with appliers.  There was at least mesh blouse and plenty of decor items.  I’m pretty sure that I didn’t find all of the pumpkins and there is also a few extra gifts out for you.

So I decided as I was LM grabbing to quickly put on a FREE mesh bloodied wedding dress and take some pictures.  Once I’d managed to kick off the Piranhas and outrun the Zombies I found shelter in this old shack when all of a sudden a freak girl in a wheel chair bursts through the wall gets up and freaks you out before wheeling herself back through it.  I tell you that you may not want the prizes but if you want to do a little hunt thats had some time, money and imagination spent on it this is the place.

The dress however comes from FLG, and until I have more time to check I’m not sure what the FLG stands for.  A simple mesh dress with a lace texture, the added bonus is the dagger though the hair and the bloodied SLink High shoes.

Galicia Spine Chilling Halloween Hunt

1Lds of Scariness.

I have the feeling that the sim I took these pictures on at Halloween will be PACKED!  This is the Everwinter sim owned by Laura Bentham who also owns a shop called Bentham Manor and 2 beautiful beachy rental sims which both Faith and I use a lot and in fact for a few weeks I even rented one of the lovely beach cabins.   Sadly for me no rentals on this sim as can you imagine how creepy/freaky/fun it would be to live here?  The time and imagination (and money) she has used to create this sim for us to all come and us is outstanding.  I may have edited the pictures somewhat but the windlight setting is perfect as it is.

I’ve also put the LM for her mainshop so you can treat yourself and your home to not only something spooky like the little ghost girl or giant scary pumpkin monsters but there is also ethereal fantasy lights and decor items.

The outfit I’m showing you is a little find off a Marketplace shop called Badoura Design and only cost me 1Lds.  Called “Bloody Mary” and she comes with standard mesh sizes for the dress, all those tattoo blood splatters and a knife that sticks out of your chest.

Since I didn’t have much time I just grabbed this and ran but I might check out the Marketplace to see what other sort of Halloweeny Freebies are out.

As it happens the torch I’m using is sent to you at the same time as the Everywinter LM and rules and it’s pretty effective.

Special mention to the hair because believe it or not it’s a Mina hair and yes that’s blood on it.  Called Jezebeth and for a change I’m going to put the link to Mina’s Marketplace shop, tbh I can’t get back inworld to check out if this is in her mainshop.  The link is for the demo version but you can buy the full version from the Marketplace or of course see if you can get it in her main inworld shop.

The Wabbit deserved it!

A couple of posts ago I did a post which allowed me to wear my wicked Alice costume so although I’ve already blogged this it was yonks ago so here it is again.  Comes from Bowtique and has 2 versions the bloodied messy one and the pristine innocent version.  You get not only the 2 dresses but mesh shoes, leggings, headband and weapon of choice ie a knife.

Shortest post eva but the sun is preparing to come out and so am I so I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I’ll see ya’s tomorrow.

I’m thinking of entering this picture into a comp so I’ve gone a bit wild with the lighting and special effects but I think it looks great even if I don’t win.

Couldn’t resist using this one as well because I don’t think Faith even noticed me creeping on her.

 

In the pack you have a total of 5 expressions, smile, neutral, frown, subtle and FangB and all come with bloodied and unbloodied versions and for the lady freaks a set for male and female.  Although there is a warning that some editing skills maybe needed the teeth fitted me perfectly but even if they didn’t any editing needed would be very basic so no one should have any problems.  Top picture shows the bloody smile the next is the unbloodied version and of course the bottom is the bloody fangs.

I must confess I’ve just realised that in my invent all I seem to have now is my Deadwool suit and the rest is FATEwear which is what I’m wearing in this picture.  It basically cannot be beaten for ease of wear and pure quality and now I even have “his” eyes LOL.  Sadly I just can’t take a decent picture of them so my words will have to suffice.  With the eyes you get a MASSIVE choice Hud.  I spent so much time fiddling with the settings and ok I really need to spend more time with it to get the best out of his new eyes because you can customise them to exactly how you want your eyes to look.  From deep pools of chocolate to OMG fricken teeth eyes!!!  I am wearing them in my pictures but I opted out and just used one of the preset ones.  I will try to take a close up but since I inevitable end up with the camera in my head it might be beyond my capabilities.

AH brilliant, if you check out the last link you will see that Damien has put out a YouTube vid to show you all the benefits of his eyes.  Will definitely be watching that with interest and it’s so handy so you can see exactly what you’re getting much clearer than a single photo can ever show.

Good girl gone bad!

Honestly as soon as I saw this on the Marketplace I knew it would be good and in fact it’s turned out to be great.

Sorry I’ve managed to give what is a very white a blue outfit a slightly yellowish tinge when playing with Windlight but you must make sure to check it out on the Bowtiques MP shop as it’s a pretty damned good picture of its true colouring.

Just to make it even more tempting not only do you get mesh shoes, socks, dress, an Alice band for you hair, all the sizes and on top of that you get TWO versions.  The good girl one is almost luminous virginal white the bad girl one comes in a darker dress coloured and splashes of blood and with the hud you also have a change of tights and a blade of course.  Honestly this is such a bargain and such great quality I’ve been wearing it for days and I’m happily chucking out my old prim costume.  Same as the others I had to fiddle with the shoes but it just meant stretching them a tad a procedure that anyone can do.

Bowtique is owned by Jellyroll and is only on the Marketplace. She has a couple of other costumes including a wicked Queen of hearts outfit (also a 100Lds) but most items are normal clothing some lovely puffy sleeved dresses. There are demos of some of her other outfits but not of this Alice dress however I and the 8 others who have left glowing reviews can’t be that wrong.
