Sweater Love

Thank gawd – new seasonal sweaters from Neve yippeeee! I love this time of year and I love sweaters, doubly delighted that these have added glamour, more about that later. So so so anyway, there’s heaps of newness going on instore and on the market place @ Neve, so head down for a full on gander. I’m going to show a couple of my firm fav’s here. Above is “peek” with added stripes, how yummy. The marvellous thing is – if you turn around there is a heavenly split all down the spine – not enough to make it odd but just enough to make you extra enticing ! I’m wearing the sweater with the Neve zeezee leggings, a colour from the lively pack. Check out my newwwww boots  – picked these babies up from FateStep today, they are totally incredible and awesome. You can recolour (and re texture) almost ever.single.part – seriously go grab a demo and check out the HUD – its massive. I also bought the HUD for the socks, dead handy.

Ok my OCD about wearing stripes overtook me so here’s another colour in the peek range and another colour of the zeezee leggings anddddd another colour from my magical HUD in the Dolores Fate Step booties!

This is the peek ombre sweater, it’s a bit more delicate and sheer, and kinda has (OMG!) a striped effect happening all over. Again at the back there is a lovely split to expose your spine, super glam. The leggings are another colour available from the zeezee lively pack btw.

Just a sneaky peeky at the rear, I took this photo and then realised I look a little awkward and clumsy – oh well – real life following into my second life I guess ! You can see what I mean though, it’s not overtly open, but just enough open to give a whiff of flesh – love it. Thanks Neve Team ❤

Zanzo – its Fate

I bought a pair of the sooper dooper new FATE step nylon chucks last week and was on the look out for something adorabubble to wear with them. After browsing SL Universe  last night and reading about a new-to-me store Zanzo, I sped over there to take a look around. Great stuff for men & women, plus skins and some home décor. I was lured by this sweet mesh “summer buzz” hoodie dress, aint it darlin?! I’m wearin it over my slink physique mesh body and its a really perfect fit – no tweaking – no fiddling, worn straight off the peg. Go check it out, lots of other designs and styles to grab up – I was particularly impressed with the mens skins, a bit different from the usual stuff you see around.

Here’s my chucks, how very slurpable…these are by FATEstep, Damien Fate’s new line of male & female footwear. Yeh ok, I didn’t just buy these – I hold my hands up and confess, I bought a few more. Anyyyyhoo back to the chucks, there are actually two designs of these , one is more plain but I just loved these snazzy babies. The designs on the HUD are original art by Nylon Pinkney, it’s SO hard to select just one to wear – I keep on changing mine every five mins or so ! The box is vast and contains the following:  The Nylon Chucks come with 46 texture options in the HUD (23 normal and 23 dirty). Works with default avatars, Slink Male Flat feet, Slink Female Flat feet, and Maitreya Flat Feet. Unisex yay! Btw you dont have to wear the ankle socks , its an option too.

Heres the HUD, you really can make them your own and customise them, or if lazy like me – go with some of the designs stashed in the HUD. Brilliant !

I’m thinking of entering this picture into a comp so I’ve gone a bit wild with the lighting and special effects but I think it looks great even if I don’t win.

Couldn’t resist using this one as well because I don’t think Faith even noticed me creeping on her.

 

In the pack you have a total of 5 expressions, smile, neutral, frown, subtle and FangB and all come with bloodied and unbloodied versions and for the lady freaks a set for male and female.  Although there is a warning that some editing skills maybe needed the teeth fitted me perfectly but even if they didn’t any editing needed would be very basic so no one should have any problems.  Top picture shows the bloody smile the next is the unbloodied version and of course the bottom is the bloody fangs.

I must confess I’ve just realised that in my invent all I seem to have now is my Deadwool suit and the rest is FATEwear which is what I’m wearing in this picture.  It basically cannot be beaten for ease of wear and pure quality and now I even have “his” eyes LOL.  Sadly I just can’t take a decent picture of them so my words will have to suffice.  With the eyes you get a MASSIVE choice Hud.  I spent so much time fiddling with the settings and ok I really need to spend more time with it to get the best out of his new eyes because you can customise them to exactly how you want your eyes to look.  From deep pools of chocolate to OMG fricken teeth eyes!!!  I am wearing them in my pictures but I opted out and just used one of the preset ones.  I will try to take a close up but since I inevitable end up with the camera in my head it might be beyond my capabilities.

AH brilliant, if you check out the last link you will see that Damien has put out a YouTube vid to show you all the benefits of his eyes.  Will definitely be watching that with interest and it’s so handy so you can see exactly what you’re getting much clearer than a single photo can ever show.

Camp out ! (Freebie)

I popped over to Dench Designs yesterday and spotted the new group gift – the group is free to join BTW. Above is the gift, a brilliant camp out set. It’s really low in prims and the animations are superb. Amanda Dench always adds in some unusual adorable poses that I don’t see anywhere else ! There are couples & singles poses that have that system of no balls to bother with and that ask for permission to rez props directly into your hands – gotta love that. My towel and shorts are a group gift from Damien Fate @ FATEwear – you get the USA version AND Canada ! Might be worth checking the subscribo to see if you can get this in retrospect. (YES – they are for guys but the medium size in the shorts and small towel fitted a treat on me)

The animations I got the giggles over  is the “spooky” one, you are shivering and hunched up inside the tent, while outside a terrifying ghost floats around groaningggg ! Theres also marshmallow roasting, eating a picnic, drinking and smewchy cuddles for couples.

While you’re in the store wander outside and take a look at the animal section. This chicken coop won a place on my home sim straight away ! The chickens wander about and cluck, its sooo sweet (and low prim yay) I also snapped up the guinea pigs in a cage – I love guinea pigs ! Ohhh almost forgot to say, there’s a whopping big sale on some of the adult items upstairs – 50% off !

Classic (FATE)wear.

The jacket and jeans are separate purchases, the jacket is called Adam and the jeans Billy.  As standard with FATEwear you not only get all the standard SL sizes but other options.  The jacket can be worn zipped or unzipped with or without the mesh shirt layer.  Again although the mesh shirt layer can’t be worn on its own because it’s been fitted to wear under the jacket instead of having to resort to a system shirt layer you can wear mesh on mesh.

The jeans are called Billy and they have just the right amount of dusty worness(sic) and yet again you have more than just sizing options you have high, med or low options for the waistline.

I’ve been MIA in SL for a while now but I’ve got some new stuff and much to my surprise eyes from FATEwear.  I spent most of my time in SL, once I’d popped over and grabbed some of the freebies from ContraptioN, playing with the new FATEwear eyes.  A whole menu of options for the same set of peepers I was so engrossed in them that I didn’t do anything else.  So my next post, sooner rather than later, will be eyes for men, and no reasons why not women!

FATEwear prices are compatible with any other of the best designers in SL but because Damien uses a vast palette of the same colours and offers so many different layering options as standard just a few pieces of good clothes from here and you have a look for every occasion.  He has everything from formal to causal but make sure to check out it may still be summer but upstairs are mens clothing accessories that you will struggle to find in any other shop, mesh socks, mesh gloves with hands and of course now eyes.

Spring for men.

It’s good to have been able to spend some time in SL especially since I’ve got my hands on some new clothes from the  FATEwear Spring collection.  Everything is so mix and match the whole collection can be worn as intended or mixed with any other of Damien Fates clothing.  I’m going to re post a picture to show how this works.

I took this picture on the very day I had got my new spring clothes and just snapped the shorts with the FATEwear shirt I was originally wearing and even the formal goes with the casual.  So basically if you already own a lot of FATEwear clothes even a top up of some new shorts, shirt etc will change the whole look.

This is the shorts without the shirt to distract from them.  Called Gus and they have a more crispness to them whilst the other shorts, Hector, are a more casual softer linen look, the belt is an option with both shorts, but I think it just finishes off them perfectly. In fact although the shorts come with the belt included I do believe you can buy a whole pack of the belts – which dare I say would finish off any trousers/shorts in a real neat way.

I’ve given 2 LMs one for Damien’s main shop which is where you will find all the clothes shown and much more but right next to his mainshop is the FATEplay shop which is full of costumes for both men and women .  I actually treated myself to “the travelers” outfit but because I’ve managed to get into SL so little recently I’ve not even had the chance to wear it.

Just a fun picture as I’m such a rotten traveller.  This is Zan’s boat called the Loonetta.  She has blogged it before and I think it’s time she re-blogged it as it’s still one of the BEST boats in SL.  Maybe next post for that but look how big it is and even includes a toilet, bathroom and bedroom for only 31 prims.

Teaser.

So little time so much to wear.  Faith was so busy setting up her new Scarlet Creative home she completely ignored me so I took this opportunity to take a quick snap  of one of the new Spring collection items from FATEwear.  It’s just the shorts that come from the new collection but the shirt, called Edward, is of course one of Damien’s classics.  The shorts are called Gus and are in the main entrance along with the rest of the new collection.  I couldn’t help but think that the Void colour would suit the shirt to make a casual office look but there are much more colour options from this dark grey to pink and all the shades in between.  The one thing I did notice when I spend time trying so much on is how well you can mix and match ALL of his range so when I’m next inworld I’ll definately be brightening up my look and showing you more of his excellent texturing and styling.

Popping back in because I forgot to mention that these shorts come with a belt as well which is a small and yet important detail because it just finishes off the look makes the shorts go from plain shorts to stylish shorts..back to RL now but remember Demos for everything so worth spending some time trying them all on.
