Ever Green @ Sci-fi Con 14!

Its the 14th Second Life Sci-Fi Con ! All things sci-fi and guess what? Ever Green are right there with some stunning items @ 50% discount! My absolute fav item is this projector & screen, it pretty much does everything that a web browser will do (you tube etc) PLUS some animated vintage pics as above. There are several versions of the movie Le Voyage Dans La Lune 1902 included. I’ve tried this out on my land and it was a whole lotta fun, set it up, dragged a bean bag and watched a few things – brilliant! Of course as its made by Ever Green you do get many texture options to play around with.

The coffee machine is epic – I love coffee and this makes a terrific cuppa delivered straight to your hand. The Soundscape player has a four options for soundscapes, most parts are also texture change. Try “Drifting”, I’ve got that playing and its so relaxing. The steampunk clock is lovely, it comes with optional tick tock noises and blows a jet of steam on the hour every hour ! Don’t forget these items have a 50% discount.

I didn’t realise that there is a hunt – but even I found the one by Ever Green *hurrah*. This delightful metal elephant wanders around and is only 3Li – just find the globe et voila he is yours. (3 wandering ranges included)

Ever Green @ Sci-fi Con

Everyone knows this “Contraption”.(Freebies).

I ended up at a shop we will all know even if we have never been in it and that’s because Contraption is a BIG contributor to events and esp ones that have Gachas and you know how I love(hate) Gacha’s.

You know when you TP into a shop and it looks like this then it’s gonna be good. A warehouse with weird and wonderful things, mainly masks, and accessories.  Once I’d checked everything out I didn’t find what I was looking for but I did find a wall of Freebies at the back of the shop.

Lots of people will recognise the corpses as they have been around for oodles of years but I’m not sure if these ones have been updated, doesn’t matter cos old or new they’re great spooky decor items.  You get so many corpses in different postures and a couple of different textures and of course 1 prim.

The mask I’m wearing is also a freebie.  If you remember I mentioned that I have/had an Alt and he, yes it was/is a male Alt, actually has quite a few of the gruesome teeth sets from here.

That “contraption” on legs is actually just the delivery system which is such good quality there is no reason you couldn’t use it as a home decor item and even if people recognise it for what it is again because it’s just a quality item no one will bat an eye.

This is the only other freebie I picked up and it’s a Morphine kit.

Just for fun, I decided to see if I could find a picture of my male alt esp if he’s wearing something which he bought from Contraption and I do believe that the teeth in this picture are a Contraption item.  I could be wrong but it was just fun looking at all my old pictures in any case.

Lots of great steam punky style jewelry, clothes, shoes  n stuff all for 50Lds only, but make sure you check before you buy.  I  love this shop, Pixel Box, and I’ve got oodles of things from previous sales and treated myself to this little number, a skeleton AV dressed up in all her finery.

Please don’t let the idea of “steam punk” put you off as there is a whole shop of really interesting pieces.

Another 30Lds Sat offer this time from Mistique.

Steampunk/Victoriana at it’s finest.   You will also see some shoe showing in the top picture this a classic design of Victorian walking out dresses, the raised hem stopped the skirts trailing along the foul paths and roads of olden times and if like me you have a sexy pair of Victorian boots a nice way to show them off.

There isn’t a Demo for this outfit because it’s a 30Ld Saturday offer, you do however get a choice of 3 colours, Rosemary Pink, Rosemary Creme and Rosemary Green which of course is the colour I’m wearing but they are separate purchases. This is definitely a keeper for me.

Mistique is another shop where you must slap the sub board because it’s Mahi Dreamscape send out regular notices about all the lovely items in the special events such as 30Ld Saturday, 35Ld Sunday, 60Ld Weekends etc and this is all shop quality stuff.  The whole shop itself is a mix of furniture, decor, clothes and I did notice when I scanned up to the higher floor even poses.

You may also notice that this is the Free Parasol Faith scored last week and as soon as I saw her post I went and grabbed it and as it turns out it teams beautifully with this whole look.  The Creators Collection Box is celebrating it’s first year in SL and we all know what that means..FREEBIES and lots of them.  So if you haven’t followed Faiths link and snagged all the gifts set out for us you’d better hurry as I have a feeling it will be over soon.

Decisions – 21 Shoe

Ugh I can’t abide having to make a choice ! 21 Shoe is almost upon us and Tiffy Vella has ,made it extremely difficult for me this morning *shakes fist*. You see Eclectica – that’s Tiffy’s store – has these yummmy goth boots out as the offer (two for one) and I really really couldn’t decide which pair to wear for the photo . Soooo here I am surrounded by ALL of them – voila. (These are an exclusive version, specially retextured for 21Shoe. They will be available for sale on the 21st June, 2015, and then nevermore.)

Materials enabled and suitable for standard feet, here’s the info:

“First, remove all mesh feet and shoe bases, then just add each boot and it will attach to your lower leg. Add the alpha foot hider to make your feet disappear, and you are done. If you wish to move them up or down your leg, you may do so as they are unrigged. The shine and texture in these pieces is enhanced with material mapping, to help them look a little aged and battered. The alpha is full perms, and the texture is included to allow you to reupload it combined with other alphas if you want to save on layers worn.”

21 Shoe Blog

RUSH!

In RL I’m a “Specky 4 Eyes” and I love it.  I think I suit glasses they frame my eyes lovely and best of they make me look more intelligent (God knows I need help there) and although I have a few glasses in SL as soon as I saw these I had to have them.

I’ve thrown up my simple concrete house and just used my sim setting just to show you how brill these glasses are and at only 50Lds I treated myself to a second pair.

I had always joked with friends and families that if I had to wear glasses I would buy a monocle, much to their horror, but I chickened out in the end.

The reason for the rush is that there is sale on for a limited time and everything seems to be either 50Lds or 99Lds and although I’ve just found this notice and I try to keep on top of them I don’t know when this sale is going to be over.

Actually now that I’ve looked at the Pixel Box Marketplace shop even at full price these are still really good value.

I’m thinking of entering this picture into a comp so I’ve gone a bit wild with the lighting and special effects but I think it looks great even if I don’t win.

Couldn’t resist using this one as well because I don’t think Faith even noticed me creeping on her.

 

In the pack you have a total of 5 expressions, smile, neutral, frown, subtle and FangB and all come with bloodied and unbloodied versions and for the lady freaks a set for male and female.  Although there is a warning that some editing skills maybe needed the teeth fitted me perfectly but even if they didn’t any editing needed would be very basic so no one should have any problems.  Top picture shows the bloody smile the next is the unbloodied version and of course the bottom is the bloody fangs.

I must confess I’ve just realised that in my invent all I seem to have now is my Deadwool suit and the rest is FATEwear which is what I’m wearing in this picture.  It basically cannot be beaten for ease of wear and pure quality and now I even have “his” eyes LOL.  Sadly I just can’t take a decent picture of them so my words will have to suffice.  With the eyes you get a MASSIVE choice Hud.  I spent so much time fiddling with the settings and ok I really need to spend more time with it to get the best out of his new eyes because you can customise them to exactly how you want your eyes to look.  From deep pools of chocolate to OMG fricken teeth eyes!!!  I am wearing them in my pictures but I opted out and just used one of the preset ones.  I will try to take a close up but since I inevitable end up with the camera in my head it might be beyond my capabilities.

AH brilliant, if you check out the last link you will see that Damien has put out a YouTube vid to show you all the benefits of his eyes.  Will definitely be watching that with interest and it’s so handy so you can see exactly what you’re getting much clearer than a single photo can ever show.
