I saw it, I bought it, I regret it.(75Ld Gown).

As soon as I saw this Belle Epoque Saturday offer I knew I was going to buy it and the only reason I regret it is that I know I will rarely get to wear it.

If you follow the link to the seraphim blog then you can see pictures of this dress in the different colours you can buy and you will also see a mens matching suit. So if you have an SL partner/friend who likes to swan around like a Duke/Dutchess then drag them over as well.

It comes in the usual Maitreya fit and I’m 99% sure also a Legacy fit, what I do know is it was a pretty great fit for my SLink but of course always try the demo out for yourself. The hat isn’t in the demo but it is included and it’s editable.

PS. Just spotted that this looks like a collab between Belle Epoque and Harshlands. I know Harshlands which is more of a landscaping/decor shop and it’s worth a check out if you have some land to landscape.

Costume Drama’s. (39Ld & 10Ld Bargain’s & Mention of Freebie).

A couple of days ago I picked this 10ld dress up from the  “Rush” shop on the Marketplace and although I took this picture of it I wasn’t going to show you it till I’d made sure that a very similar but better-textured freebie wasn’t still out and it’s not.  Then today when I picked up the hair in my second picture I knew I’d found a winning team.

The dress is from a shop called Rush on the MP.  There are other colour options for only 10Lds each and a bright red Christmas version for only 1Ld also you can try a demo of this dress first if you want to…in my case it was cheap enough to risk the 10Lds.

This is the hair I picked up this morning.

It comes from the “Mr & Miss C” shop and I am pretty sure I have/had hair from this shop before. Those roses go up the back of your head as well and you get a big fat pack of shades for the hair as well and only 39Lds.  I think you can see that the dress and hair will actually make for a great look.

There is a Freebie for one of the big Freebie Groups since I can’t remember which one I won’t say but you can see it as soon as you TP over. There is also a discount section where the hairs are as low as 9Lds but seem to average at 29Lds however even the full price hairs are “bargain” priced most at 39Lds and some at 49Lds.

Tried it, loved it, bought it.(125Ld offer).

I knew it was going to be a mistake to go try this outfit on and yet I still did it and yes I had to have it.

The skirt is a full-length one with a rough homespun look to it and it’s complemented by the blouse with its delicate lacy texture and Victorian feel to it.  The skirt and blouse can be worn as separates but the blouse has been designed to fit and fold into this skirt perfectly.

When I decide to buy something the only thing I keep in mind is how much wear I will get out of it and I will wear this often.

There is a demo for you to try and I’d recommend you try for yourself. It’s only 125Ld which is just for a limited time and I don’t know how long that is for.

I did notice some Lucky Boards at this LM but I suspect it’s Group Members only and I know that the Siss Boom Group does cost 500Lds to join.  The other thing this is a different shop that I know so I think they have either changed the design of the Siss Boom shop or it’s a different shop and I suspect that this is where Siss Boom is going to have their Advent Calendar out.  So far I’m just assuming these things but I will be keeping an eye out on that.

I’m a bad girl! (New Mina’s).

This picture is totally arty because I don’t want to show you what this hair looks like I really want you to try it on for yourself and that way you can see how well that veil/shawl fits over the hair.

So basically, this New Mina is for the Salem Event which as you can imagine is full of blood and gore items for you to buy.

As always this newly opened event is packed so I’ve put the link to the Seraphim blog so you can see what’s on offer there and also you will see the picture Mina has used which is a hella lot better than mine lol.

The thing with this shawl/hair is that for most of us it’s not daily wear but if you’re into RL, Gorean, Victorian RP this is just what you have been after. I am kicking myself as I had the perfect outfits to show this off  but I’ve either given them away or they have just disappeared into my invent and it’s a shame as this hair is screaming to be used to create a unique look.

I’m wearing the sheer black lace version only to show you how close the shawl fits over the hair and how much you can see through it but while this is what I would call “high brow” the roughly woven ones screams peasant woman.  You get 8 textures for this shawl and again pop into Mina’s and try it first.

PS.  Right next to the demo of this hair is another brand new wet/dry hair and I didn’t blog it.  When it becomes available for sale in the Mina mainshop I will dust off the picture I took of it and will do a post on it.

Someone Complained!(30Ld offer and Freebies).

For all you Vampire Hunters or homeowners out there in SL land here is a 30Ld bargain for you.

This is actually a big box, 6 prims, and you can see it’s stuffed with everything a Professional Vampire Hunter could want or ever need.  There is a closed version as well and only 2 or 3 prims for that one, the tops of both boxes have big silver crosses on them.  It’s mod so I shrank mine down just a little bit which reduced the prims but it was more a case of wanting it shelf size.  This offer is in the entrance area and is only 30Lds! So don’t buy the full priced version that’s in the main body of the shop, although at 99Ld it’s still a bargain.

I’m guessing someone dropped the shop owner a note because last time I was there I couldn’t grab the Group Freebie even though I was wearing the group tag, it happens sometimes, but now I could grab the Freebie which is the Aeroplane Decor on the wall.  The blades? turn or you can stop them.  That randomly placed chair is also a freebie and there is a wooden jewellery stand in the shape of two wooden hands which I do believe is a subscribers gift.

PS.  The chair is adult sized but from this angle, it looks child size.  You’re also supposed to be able to change the colour but I couldn’t and I forgot to try the sitting poses so they will be for you to discover for yourself.

Resting B*tch Face.(10Ld TeleportHub Gift).

A quick start,  since I will be babbling on I’ll give you the details first and you can scroll past all of the babble.

TeleportHub group costs 10Lds to join, love this group.  This dress is a Maitreya only and although there is break-through at the back if you like it then it’s not a big issue esp if you wear it with long hair.  I picked this up from a shop which I know I’ve not visited before so I had a saunter through and there is a lot of the usual stuff but I found a couple of “ooo that looks interesting” so I grabbed myself a couple of demos to try on when I log back in.

That face comes with that pose so I decided to rummage in my invent for a better holding pose that didn’t give me a slapped arse face and I came across this one.

Yup wearable/playable cymbals.   Not much better but a lot more fun. I think they’re either an old Gacha win or hunt prize from Madpea. Every time I come across someone making those damned moaning noises I should whip these things out and stand next to them crashing my cymbals, (no offence to anyone who follows this blog and uses the moaning noises lol).

Can I tell you about a Mina hair rather than show you it?  Again feel free to scroll on I don’t mind.  Anyhow this hair is called “Elowen” has been out for quite a few weeks now and the reason I haven’t shown you it is not because it’s not unique, stunning and pretty damned relevant it’s because I can’t style it.

Do any of you watch”The Walking Dead”? I don’t but my OH never misses a show which is why I know that this hair is has been inspired by the characters called “Michonne” and yes I did have to google that.  Michonne has her hair styled in thick braids and uses fabric strips to keep it controlled and it’s the same with Mina’s version.  It’s not an identical copy, the braids are more random in their thickness, you have beads which I think you can wear with or without and of course it comes with a hud that allows you to change the colour of everything.  You don’t need to be a Walking Dead fan to wear this hair, it may lend itself more to an RP style but it can just be worn any time you want just not on a skinny assed pale white AV like mine lol.  I just don’t do it justice so if you want to try it out for yourself then when you walk into the Mina main shop just turn to your right when you walk in and it’s on the wall there.

I’d only just started my trawling of the We ❤ Role-Play event so I don’t know if there are any freebies but I suspect there are on each or most stands a very low priced items you can purchase which in this case wasn’t this dress.

I’ve gone to one of my fav sims, it represents Yorkshire which is a part of the UK that I love to take the picture.  Sorry, I can’t remember the exact price I paid for the dress or even the hat but I think it was about 280Lds for the dress and the hat is one of the token priced gifts so it was only 10Lds.

I was just going to buy the hat and scurry away from temptation but damnit I just had to grab the demo as well and I had to buy it then and there because not only do on you get a stunning gown for both roleplaying or swanning around SL like Lady Muck it comes as SEPARATES!

I’ve not had the chance to try out the jacket, blouse and skirt with other items from my invent but I don’t think it will be hard to find other items to mix and match with it.

I chose the “Garnet” option but there are other colour choices, Maitreya only but as you can see from the design there should be no issues with fitting it and TRY the demo first just to make sure.
