Everyone knows this “Contraption”.(Freebies).

I ended up at a shop we will all know even if we have never been in it and that’s because Contraption is a BIG contributor to events and esp ones that have Gachas and you know how I love(hate) Gacha’s.

You know when you TP into a shop and it looks like this then it’s gonna be good. A warehouse with weird and wonderful things, mainly masks, and accessories.  Once I’d checked everything out I didn’t find what I was looking for but I did find a wall of Freebies at the back of the shop.

Lots of people will recognise the corpses as they have been around for oodles of years but I’m not sure if these ones have been updated, doesn’t matter cos old or new they’re great spooky decor items.  You get so many corpses in different postures and a couple of different textures and of course 1 prim.

The mask I’m wearing is also a freebie.  If you remember I mentioned that I have/had an Alt and he, yes it was/is a male Alt, actually has quite a few of the gruesome teeth sets from here.

That “contraption” on legs is actually just the delivery system which is such good quality there is no reason you couldn’t use it as a home decor item and even if people recognise it for what it is again because it’s just a quality item no one will bat an eye.

This is the only other freebie I picked up and it’s a Morphine kit.

Just for fun, I decided to see if I could find a picture of my male alt esp if he’s wearing something which he bought from Contraption and I do believe that the teeth in this picture are a Contraption item.  I could be wrong but it was just fun looking at all my old pictures in any case.

I’m thinking of entering this picture into a comp so I’ve gone a bit wild with the lighting and special effects but I think it looks great even if I don’t win.

Couldn’t resist using this one as well because I don’t think Faith even noticed me creeping on her.

 

In the pack you have a total of 5 expressions, smile, neutral, frown, subtle and FangB and all come with bloodied and unbloodied versions and for the lady freaks a set for male and female.  Although there is a warning that some editing skills maybe needed the teeth fitted me perfectly but even if they didn’t any editing needed would be very basic so no one should have any problems.  Top picture shows the bloody smile the next is the unbloodied version and of course the bottom is the bloody fangs.

I must confess I’ve just realised that in my invent all I seem to have now is my Deadwool suit and the rest is FATEwear which is what I’m wearing in this picture.  It basically cannot be beaten for ease of wear and pure quality and now I even have “his” eyes LOL.  Sadly I just can’t take a decent picture of them so my words will have to suffice.  With the eyes you get a MASSIVE choice Hud.  I spent so much time fiddling with the settings and ok I really need to spend more time with it to get the best out of his new eyes because you can customise them to exactly how you want your eyes to look.  From deep pools of chocolate to OMG fricken teeth eyes!!!  I am wearing them in my pictures but I opted out and just used one of the preset ones.  I will try to take a close up but since I inevitable end up with the camera in my head it might be beyond my capabilities.

AH brilliant, if you check out the last link you will see that Damien has put out a YouTube vid to show you all the benefits of his eyes.  Will definitely be watching that with interest and it’s so handy so you can see exactly what you’re getting much clearer than a single photo can ever show.

Dinner Dates (freebies)

Have to say I had a fun day in SL.  First I found a shop packed with super Kawaii cute outfits, make up, tattoo’s, shoes, GGs and even Lucky Chairs so I clicked away picked up some goodies and won a couple of freebies.   Even if you’re not interested in some new clothes pop over for the lippies because CottonCANDYmonsteR has packs of pouty lips, teeth showing lips etc so quite a variety to chose from.

As for my “dinner dates” these brill 1 prim Wrapped Corpses come from Walton F. Wainwrigh and his partner Alushiaus Wainwright shop ContraptioN.  You get a whole load of them in various form of rigor, lol, and also some different texturing.  Faith will remember that no matter how nice my home was there was always a stuff corpse under the floor boards or in the bushes waiting for the unsuspecting cammer I think it’s about time to restart this tradition.

Sadly as I’m sat here finishing off this post and grabbing the LM my initial hasn’t come up on the Lucky Boards here but don’t fret because apart from the Grizzly corpses there are other freebies.  Just for interest check out Walton F. Wainwright (faust.steamer) profile because everything here is heavily influence in the Steampunk style and in his profile he has a clear and very interesting description about Steam punk and all the other “punky” genre.

Inspired (freebie and cheapie).

I have been such a lazy mare in SL and just wandered all around my new Sim find.  I’ve taken so many pictures I’m not sure what to do with them so indulge me as I post more piccies.

However I do have a good excuse as since our sim is Winter white and I’m starting to yearn for a bit of colour in my life (RL and SL) I knew that this sim would be a perfect place to take a couple (or more) snaps of my new freebies and a brilliant hunt find.  The mesh top and skirt are freebies from J.Allen Store (it’s in the window with a couple of other freebies) and you get a choice of 3 colours for the top but I loved the juicy orange.

Again the Lennon Sim is an amazingly beautiful laid out and planned rental sim but since the owners have been so kind as to leave it as an open sim even for us casual visitors there are some really beautiful places to hang out in and just enjoy the view.  As always I can only say please resist entering people’s homes, unless of course you get so awed you want to rent a home here yourself.

Must confess I thought I was buying a cute flying pig which in a way I was but it turns out the pig contained this delightful,delicate and pretty hair flowers. Turns out the pig is from an old hunt called When pigs fly hunt which is well over now but obviously Norena Soir has been so kind she’s left it out for us.  Since it’s an old hunt I don’t think I’m breaking any rules when I tell you it’s attached to the special offer boards.  As it happens I was so pleased with this I paid the 75Lds and joined her group and then grabbed the freebies which I haven’t had time to check out yet but the ornate mask and bunch of flowers on their own look as though they’re worth the joining free alone.
