I finally took off my massive feet, I did enjoy stomping around but it was hard to keep on taking them off to put on shoes.

So I changed into a pair of Uggs which I do believe were an old hunt gift from Hilly Halaan so I TPed over just to check out to see out of if they had hopefully been moved to the small building/room that contains all the old Hilly Halaan group gifts and they’re not there but this outfit and a pair of heels are new GG’s.

Obviously, this is now a “classic” SL design but it is in Hilly Haalan quality and that means a nice hud of colours and textures so I ain’t complaining.  I didn’t grab the heels though.

So if you’ve not done so yet, where you TP in turn around and you will see that little build/room and check out some damned good quality gifts.

This Santa hat/hair is the only one so far that I have been happy to blog but then again this is an Argrace gift.  I cannot remember the last time I bought a hair from Argrace so I can’t tell you much about the size of the hud, prices etc but the hair with this Santa hat does come with a big hud of colour options and of course is free.

Last bit is my background.  I occasionally use backdrops and one of the shops I love is called “Backdrop City” and just for us, they have this absolutely stunning sim set up.

The whole sim is idiot proof, if you want to take a stunning Christmas picture then this is the place for you not just because it’s so pretty but they have used some of the best props and landscaping in SL, they have the windlight set perfectly but mainly because you have REZZING RIGHTS!  Obviously keep your rezzed stuff to PG rated, low prim and of course clean your sh*t up after you but of course there is more than anyone could need without having to rezz anything out of their invent.

Right next to the snowman is a TP to the ground where there is a Christmas Market going on.  I did confess a couple of posts ago that I caved in and treated myself to some Lindens and I’m now at that Christmas market buying backdrop after backdrop as lots of them are really bargain priced.  I’ve had to log out but I can’t wait to log back in.

Popped over to Hilly Haalan last night to check out a new promo and picked up this sweet little sweater dress for free ! Also comes with the shoes which are rather classy. I can’t recall if the group is free to join or not – I think it is, it was when I joined – let me know ! The sizes are xs – L with an alpha – fitted really well over my Physique mesh body. My pose with the little doggy was from Sam Poses, group is free to join and there are quite a few group gifts on the wall. This pose was one of the group gifts and it’s just sweeeeet!

I did snap up the $99L promo – which was a proper steal if only for the shoes. I was a tad disappointed with the fit of the trousers if I’m honest – they just didn’t sit well around my waist but your mileage may vary of course depending on your shape. It’s a great deal anyway, adore the shoes and bag, the sweater is nice also. You get a Hud with six choices for each piece excluding the bag. Fits:

Neve has more !

This fast fingered elves at Neve are pumping out new releases at a super fast pace for summer ! The latest bundle of happy is a bustier styled top and frilled edge short skirt , available as separates at the latest round of Uber. Take a look at the options gawd – florals, plaids,plains,patterns – you can even fiddle about with the trims and hemline frill. I went the denim and plaid route above – I adore plaid and denim, especially with this soft butter yellow tone in the mix.

Oh of course I had to sample the salmon pink ! Swapped the hemline out for a crisp white lace and made the top a fresh cherry print in the same tone – tadah! Mesh body fits only : Slink Physique,Freya,Isis & Lara. My hair is a fairly new release from Argrace called Kirin – popped over there the other day and noticed that there is also a DISCOUNT section *faints* , naturally I checked it out and ohmydays – some great style that are still good to go for $50L!!! Oh la la I spotted Myth a new-to-me store has a sale on until the 10th November. Popped over and had a mosey around their decor area by mistake (VERY nice and I will be back). The clothes sale is to the side of the store, just follow the red signs on the ground – which I missed entirely DUH. I scooped up this wicked hoodie sweater dress/top for just $2L ! Pretty sure you could squeeze some leggings or jeans underneath it for the cooler months. New hair *squeeee* from Argrace – called Kiri – comes with a Hud for the scarf also. If, like me you want to match the hair accessories with what you’re wearing and the item only comes with patterns or colours you wouldn’t use – never fear. MAKE A COPY first – then go into edit mode – edit linked – now be careful – DO NOT GET THE HAIR BY MISTAKE! – If you’re seeing a hair texture in the edit box, use “select face” to grab the piece you want – check the texture tab to make definitely sure you’ve got the band – et voila – use the colour box to change the texture to a colour of your choice. (Might be an idea to make a coupla copies first and play around with this until you feel confident.)

Anyway I digress – I also snapped this up in the Myth sale for just $5L – you get the Capri pants, top and also a mini skirt – brilliant fit too. (Both items comes in mesh body fits and also fitmesh & standard sizes) Quite a big selection of sale items – all seasons. Make sure to use the vendors to scroll through colour options!

Fameshed & Going To The Max

New round of Fameshed, which is rapidly becoming one of my fav events. Neve have some new lovelies there, this dress is called “Borough”, and I was really torn on what colour from which pack to share with you. I went with this Autumnal shade from the lively pack – Tadah! So so so some neato options on the Hud – means you can remove the inset vest, change lace colours and generally fool around to your heart’s content *happy sigh*. Lots of packs, denim,stripes,neutrals etc and don’t forget you get FOUR colours per package – mesh body sizes only.

My boots are by Gos, blimey haven’t bought any Gos stuff for like eons. I found these at the “Going To The Max” event, which is raising cash for one of Second Life’s beloved designers Maxwell Graff. (Rustica brand) He is having some severe real life issues and personally I love that other designers band together to assist. Anyyyhooo top-notch gear there, these little booties “Vicky” were just $200L, with some great colour pack options (I seem to recall five colours in the pack)

Snuggle up with Neve

Neve is at the new round of The Liaison Collabortive with some really scrummy and snuggly pieces. Just right for curling up with a good book or an evening at home lounging. I chose to share the deedee leggings from the “linear” pack – in PINK of course . They just sing to my fluffy soul. They also have what Neve call a “boot helper” on the Hud, means you can wear these with your booties and no dreadful meshy bits popping out yay!

Over the top a dead comfy loose shirt “Altierre”, it is actually described as a dress and I suppose you could wear it as one, however I prefer it over leggings or jeans – its got the r e l a x factor in spades. Both items are sold seperatly and in each pack you get four colour ways. There are of course, other packs to decide upon from spots to literary quotes etc. Mesh body fits only for these items.
