The monthly “The Dressing Room” event was the first discounted event I ever started to go to and I have to confess that this is the place which started off my Essence skin addiction because it was the only place you could pick up an Essence skin at a very CHEAP price.  I’m over that addiction, still love the skins though, and PumeC has been my skin of choice for a couple of years now.  OK so basically everything at this event is priced between 40-100Lds and not only is this bargain priced items all of it comes from well-known shops and a lot if not all of it is fresh new designs.

A good mix of skins, hair’s, shoes, and usually there is a good mix of clothes, jewels, make up, shoes, skin and hair etc and at the prices they’re not only quality stuff but so tempting, I think I’m wearing one of the eyes shadows I picked up from there but I can’t be a 100% sure…but I am pretty sure LOL.

As soon as I spotted this delicate pretty romper on the Fishy Strawberry stand I didn’t even bother to grab the demo I threw my 60Lds at it grabbed the pink one and TPed straight home to put it on.  So delicate so pretty so feminine it’s making the RL me want to put on a face mask, crank up the central heating  and go lounge like a lady of leasure…unlike the hard working woman I really am.

You get 2 items in this pack, as well as all the sizes, you get this full romper and a wear on its own top which will look so pretty teamed with basically anything ie shorts, jeans or as is shown in the Fishy Strawberry picture a cute pair of panties. As it happens I was in such a rush I forgot to put the Alpha layer on! and didn’t even notice, although it’s hardly a hardship popping an Alpha layer on but I’m wondering if I could wear my mesh body without having to bother using the alpha hud.  Thats just a meandering thought because you of course will be able to grab the demo and try before you buy.

It’s nice to see it’s back and with a new small pretty shopping area set out it’s easy to just have a saunter around and at the prices treat yourself….and NO GACHAS! Woo Hoo LOL.

The sun shone down

I’ve been on a bit of a shopping frenzy the last few days – oh you thought I was M.I.A? Nope, just cruising & buying ! Yesterday I was at The dressing room snapping up a few treats here and there. Who can resist these jeans and top from Drift, both come with a HUD – the jeans have five tones of denim and the top an amazing TEN ! Jeans only cost me $59L and the top $69L, sweet deal. Ohhh almost forgot to mention the new hair – out at collabor88 by [e] and called Lena – Im sooper happy that elikitira is back and making beautiful hair again yay! Sooo where am I standing? On my new house-thats-a-boat type thing of course ! I couldn’t resist it at the MIZU event, it’s not like I don’t already own like a squillions homes & buildings of various designs. But but but it’s SO gorgeous and SO unusual I had to have it. It’s what I call “a keeper”, not bought as a prop, but a space I can call my own and utilise all the time on our home sim. Here it is in all its glory, it comes with the decking walk way – the decor is a combo of what I could scrounge from Zan and my own. Bless her heart she did actually furnish it for me and then didn’t complain when I returned things and generally behaved like a royal pain in the butt. Stop rambling and fess up the deets – ok – so its 43Li and is by a new to me designer called Anhelo. If this is anything to go by, looks like Ive found a new way to spend even more $$$ *sigh*. There is a charming little flight of stairs that helps you reach the upper roof area which is grassy and softly curved. Zan sorted out all her bestest plants for me and I found an old picnic rug to place up there. The interior is small but lovely. I managed to fit a stove & kitchen in plus a daybed and assorted nicnacs – so really plenty of space to furnish and live. The MIZU event is on until the 7th July and I suggest you save your pennies and visit, I spent a bucket there and came away a very happy bunny.

Where’s my bubbles?

I thought I was gonna blow some bubbles, when out popped butterflies ! Oh well it was a lovely day and sitting on the dunes was about as good as it gets. I had just been to The dressing room  and splurged £70L on a pair of Ys&Ys Oxford shoes, gawd I love’ em. I loved them sooo much I went to the mainstore and bought them in this scrummy summer white colour too. Great little things, dead cute and with a gazillion colour options for the sock and the option to not wear them at all, plusss variants on the shoe itself . My outfit is by [DAMI], after dropping a bomb in their gacha the other day I decided to investigate the mainstore and saw this, a few colour options, I went with this softer denim shade, the tee-shirt is HUD driven, see below.

Gives you a few more looks for your bucks. The natty thing is that you can actually wear the jacket and tee on its own as well as with the skirt. I like flexibility !

Kawaii Fair !

So so so love going to the annual Kawaii Fir, it’s all playful and people are bubbly and fizzy with happiness…PLUS…there’s always heaps of fun & gifts! Everything I’m going to show you here was either free or 1L – 10L (mostly 1L or free though) My meshtastic pink bikini is just awesome…fits like a glove with no gapping…and well…its PINK…it was a gift from LavandaChic (10L) verrrry glad I picked it up. Fell in lurve with the tattoo by StrawberryJam, I’m not overly big on tatts tbh, but this is sooper cute, just 10L…my skin is by Al Vulo and is at The Dressing Room Fusion (round 10), just 70L bags you this beauty, I added a makeover layer by Mock Cosmetics (Cool Summer glace) and loved the effect.

As I was power moochin (always in a rush) I grabbed a couple of free gifts from a store I hadn’t seen before, so wasnt sure what to expect..store is called  Chibi Sekai. The outfit is thee sweetest ever mesh romper suit in denim, comes complete with a tshirt and the darling little pair of sneakers, theres another outfit there also for free, equally as lovely. Always great if you can nab a gift to try out a designer you don’t know, with the quality of these, I’ll certainly be back for another look. My skin is a dollarbie from Modish at the Kawaii Fair, named “Lotus east”, totally fab and such a gorgy pale tone.

Last up for today is this little outfit from Forever Young, the Kawaii gym shorts and top, my necklace was also a free gift from MDL..more to come later I’m sure !

After a rainy start…we had some sun this afternoon…made me wish SO hard for the summer to hurry along…just right for the warmer days ahead is this new release from Arisaris…the hankerchief dress…batik inspired print…with a really beautiful shape to the hem…its mesh so jump on in and give it a whirl…trust me..you will love ! A real steal for 199L…

I also popped along to the new collection at The Dressing room..and snapped up this hair from one of my fav hair designers Exile..called “Violetta”, comes with four colours all for 60L !

Mons Vintage dress is another lovely score from the  dressing room.  Pink pretty flowers disguise a little bit of naughtyness.  That comes from the low strappy top and the cut out sides.  70lds is all this cost so I’m now off to their shop to check out what other loveliness they have.

Well I never! turns out Mons has quite it’s own personal shopping mall on it’s own sim.  5 shops in total so you can kit yourself out from head to toe if you so wish.  Quirky cute hat with hair for group members and some zingy eye shadows, however joining costs 100lds which might just be worth it if the quality of their clothes remains the same.

Dont telll…but even in my *condition*,  Ive been teetering around in my newwwwww BAX booties alllll morning ! Arent they just darrrrling? Well you can grab a hold of a pair for just 69L *faints*, yesyesyes available at The Dressing Room…and I love love LOVE them sooo much. Little bit of a retro feel going on in the styling…adorbs. My funkalicious bag is from the Advent calender at Orage Creations..I was sooper hoping they’d have a bag in it as I have some realllly old ones from years ago that I still love from there…yay! This one has a built in pose thats pretty coolbeans also !
