Found this little beaut of a mesh house on the market place by elfico penso to share with you. “Olive Cottage” sounds a small space but is actually pretty big. If you peer closely you’ll see the little basement windows around the bottom – bloomin brill as this house comes with a built-right-in basement! Here’s the deets: 4 rooms, a balcony and a basement! Lovely detailing for a dollarbie build, the doors are especially nice and are followed through the whole place. Touch the basement door to go down a ladder and you’ll find a full house size area – what to dooooo with it ! Well made staircase takes you to the upper level with an added small exterior balcony to enjoy. Top notch !

I am so easily tempted by “beautifuls” for my Second Life home – seriously – I can not resist ! Chez Moi have this delightful wrought iron patio table out at the moment for the latest round of The Chapter Four. At only 3Li its remarkable and so detailed! In the menu you will find poses galore (PG & Adult versions on sale) plus the ability to add decor to the table (adds prims).

I managed to get into Fameshed yesterday and boy-oh-boy – I saw this build by  Trompe Loeil – the “Geonna” patio with pool. I saw it and quickly walked away, but I HAD to return. I knew in my heart it was going to be mine – the moment I saw it. I bought the PG version, but an adult one is also available. Deets:

Geonna Patio + Pool includes animations, 21 x 22 footprint, 67Li, c/m/nt, demo via TP, 800L PG version/1700L ADULT version.

It just fits anywhere! Against a home, in the middle of a field, backed up to a wall etc etc. The poses are super lovely, singles,couples,pool animations. It’s a considered purchase for sure, but you wont regret making. It is on view in the demo area to try out – teleport right by the store stand.

A little while ago I blogged about a free item from Maya’s, I was so impressed with her prefabs at the store I joined the subscribo to keep informed. Most all of the builds are $50L! Loads of styles , stores, homes and sim decor – brilliant price. I got a notice yesterday about a new build so dashed over to see it – but there isn’t a rezzer to do so – sooooo I read all about it on their market place store and decided “what the heck” its only $50″ and bought it. Dead chuffed I did, it’s really really lovely. Sooo above is the exterior shot, there is an extended balcony out the back and of course the smaller cozy one at the front. The two trees are included as is ALL the furniture, lamps etc – bloomin good deal

Here is a little taster on whats inside, as you can see its deliciously furnished, even the lights vary from room to room. Some adorable little decor touches, you’ll also find a ladder that takes you upstairs to the bedroom – complete with bed etc. (You will receive both furnished and unfurnished versions).  If you do visit the inworld store, make sure to go upstairs and check out the group gifts .

Ive never seen Scarlet Creative make something quite like this! This item is only available in the new round of Luxe Box and trust me, its worth more than the months fee. Fantastically thought out summer build, one floor but with a HUGE roof terrace to party , sunbath and chill out on. There is an infinity pool on one side and a bare gazebo on the lower terrace area for a shady spot.

This space is rich in summer time textures, that actually Id love to live in all year round. Gorgeous tiles, cool woods and lots and lots of airy windows and doors.

I couldn’t stop staring at the tile work, it’s just …almost….edible?! All info below on how to get your box.

Sky High Summer

O.o its been ages since Circa have had a sky home for sale, “The View” sky home is up for grabs at the Home Whimsy Event – this runs until the 30th June.  It’s serene and tranquil in colour with a great open concept to lay out room items.  There are 4 living spaces, with 3 indoor and 1 outdoor patio area.  You’ll find each room has 2 windows with scripted blinds. Perfect for the summer! I personally can’t abide a sky home without an outdoor space – so this is just dandy. (50% discount if purchased at the event!)

If you plan it right, there is no reason you can’t celebrate the summer in your skyhome! I got out the new “Hakuna” bar by Chez Moi (available at Tres Chic – on until July 10th) Fantastical bar with heaps of details, swing chairs, some awesome bartender poses ! The really cool thing is you can have as much of this out as prims allow – it’s not hard linked, perfecto!

I hopped on and got straight into tending bar, whipping up cocktails, prepping a burger etc. I’ve not seen animations like these before – VERY refreshing! ( $480L for PG version/$720L for Adult version).

I also set up a little lounging corner on my deck space, using the new set out by Circa for the Geektopia event (June 19 – July 3) Totally adore the sumptuous leather fabric on the floor cushion, its super realistic. The balloon shaped chair and gamer inspired table are also pieces on offer.

Tomorrow is the day ! The latest round of The Arcade opens on the 1st June, so gird your loins, warm up those teleport fingers (or lazy boy hud) and join the veritable stampede of people all wanting to feed those gacha machines. Scarlet Creative has yet again come up with the goods – I’m always surprised that Charlotte’s gacha machine is just $50L a pop, everything is quality, pretty and you get a real scoop with every win. The rare for this round is the Nerites house and gawd its lovely. A fairy tale build, tall spires from the roof, a slight flavour of the East with the design. Yet every nook and cranny screams shabby chic with a dash of Victorian! This is a one floor build with aspirations to a second floor with the use of heaps of huge windows, tons of glass and a unique layout.

I hope you can see how quirky the layout is from my photos, it’s always so hard to show it off. As you walk around the house wraps itself around you like a comfortable friend, you almost know it but then find a little corner hidden away to delight you with thoughts of what to place there.

I’m never entirely sure with Charlottes builds, which is the front and which s the back – which is actually pretty cool, no defined way to use the space – it just works. You can see here the fantastic glazed area along one side – shouts out for plants and pots no?

I do love the textures used, I know I bang on about them but they are the fabric of the build. Charlotte’s uses such soft tones and peeling plaster, you feel as if you can reach out and rub a cheek against it, or smell the faded wood – each one to me is like a banquet for the senses.

Because I’m short on time but long on thoughts – you will have to make do with the advertising shot for the other gacha wins. Take my word for it though (and I’ve tested and fiddled about with EVERY piece) they are just gorgeous. I think I noted a couple of new poses in the sofa and bed which was a pleasure to find.
