Free Finds and bargain shoes

I found this cool skirt & top combo as I was stumbling around the market place, its by Betrayal. Now it does cost $1L BUT if you pop a note card to the owner you can claim that back. I wasn’t going too as its really such a generous gift. You get nine colours for the top and nine colours for the skirt wow! Fits are:  Maitreya, Hourglass, Freya, and Legacy.

I also treated myself to a pair of new wedge sandals from The Mesh Agency – $50L and it comes with a stonkin big Hud with 50 colours *faints*, several mesh feet sizes plus a resizable pair. There were a few negative comments on the MP about these shoes and the fit for Maitreya feet – but they fit perfectly ❤

The blue is my favourite (at the moment), but the mahoosive Hud allows you to swing from day to night, black to red and in-between.

Oh dear – is it still cheap when you buy TEN pairs? Admittedly they are only $10L per pair but I got a bit carried away – which was easy!

Baby Monkey have absolutely shed loads of shoes, sandals, boots, flats, stilettos in their market place store for $10L – I mean seriously heaps.

Maybe this is old news to some of you – but for me it was like winning the lottery ! I may have to go back and grab a few more pairs. Whilst these might be old, the designs are current, with Slink fits and some in other mesh feet sizes they are good to go. ALL of them come with gigantic colour change Huds too – Lord I almost forgot to add that bit.

Blinking Nora!(Update)

ARGH, I managed, when editing this post, to cut out the fact this isn’t a free group and does cost 100Lds to join, well spotted Faith!  Sorry if anyone popped over thinking they could score big time but I still think it’s worth the initial fee.

Before RL went down the toilet, again, I had picked these up from Scandalised and did a quick post but it was so bad I pulled it because it didn’t really do the clothes justice.

This simple little skirt/top set which is linked and comes in all mesh fits and a lovely colour hud that allows you to mix and match the top and bottom, I think 10 shades/textures for both.

This dress also comes with a hud and a few of these long dresses seem to come with a short option as well so I can wear it with that long sheer lower skirt or as a sparkling thigh-high dress.

There is actually a total of I do believe 74 Group Gifts!  I grabbed about 50 of them before I got cramp in my clicking finger lol.  I spotted a couple of pairs of shoes, a couple of pieces of jewelry and a bunch of roses but the bulk of the gifts are made up of clothes.  A really nice variety of daywear, nightwear, beachwear, nip slip wear and sweet and simple wear.  Most of the pictures of the outfits do show you what fits and huds you get with that so you can check for yourself how many will fit you.

I will be honest and say for me personally there was some “Heck no”, “ok that’s nice but I won’t wear it so in the trash it goes”, “damn that won’t fit me” and most definitely enough “KEEPERS” so even though I personally will be binning almost everything I got I can see that for most people this is a way of getting some top quality clothing for just a small investment.  So don’t go by what I’m wearing because there is such a selection and variety you need to go look for yourself.

You will find all of these on the wall behind the wall in the entrance way.

UPDATE Because when I LM grabbed I checked and although I didn’t see any demos I did see that the pictures do show clearly the fits and huds you get with each outfit and I couldn’t help myself but I grabbed the rest of the items I didn’t get the first time around.

Exile

The Wash 10th Anniversary ! (Free & $10L)

Oh lala its The Wash’s birthday! Zan and I both love this event and go a bit wild as we always find such bargains. Above I found a brilliant Autumn bench & table from Lunar Seasonal Designs, both $10L each, both with texture changing for the wood and both with fluttering leaves! Really low prim and some scrummy poses in the bench. I resized the table to coffee table, dead simple to do. (Free items are : Keepsake box by Pan, pearl pumpkin from The Artists Shed, gifts around the sim by designers – find them,there are heaps!) The kitties and pumpkin decor is by Kitty Creations, again – just $10L.

I bought the grumpy cat sweater and the tippy toes shoes, both $10L – sweater is by Park Place Casuals and the shoes are by Lindy. The Keepsake box is a gift from Pan, the front opens and you can add your own photos, dead cute. Btw, SL was playing up for me yesterday, things rezzing in and out of focus, apologies if some items aren’t as clear as Id normally have them!

This is the best photo out of a bunch of them and even then it’s a rotten picture BUT this offer of FREE joining fee for the Essenz group is just too good to ignore and it finishes on the 17th so I’d haul my AV behind sooner rather than later as the joining fee is usually 350Lds and I know from past notices you get top quality group gifts on a regular basis which leads me to these.

I spotted the gift bag just in the entrance and so snagged it and TPed home excited to see what was in the bag and it’s these but every time I tried to put a pair on I ended up with them stuck to my hands! Soooo I read the note and it turns out these are DECOR items only! As someone who is always saying when a delivery box, bag and shoes are so low primmed they make great decor items these are just what I like and now you have shoes which are designed to be decor items.

There are 3 pairs of shoes and each pair comes in various ways ie stood up, with one shoe leaning against the other and one shoe stood up with the other lying down.   Add to that you also get the full-colour hud so you can fill a whole shelf with the same shoe but in so many colours.  The only thing is that the colour Huds change ALL the rezzed shoes at the same time so if you want a whole variety of colours you will have to rezz a shoe change the colour then take it back into your invent then rezz the next shoe and change that colour and take it back into your invent and on and on till you have the mix of colours and layout you want.

Soooooo not actual wearable shoes but again I do know that Essenz does put out excellent Group Gifts and when I have more time I will be heading in-world just to see if I’ve missed any actual wearable shoes.
