Just like Faith I too had a day off, for good behaviour, and treated myself to a mani and brow shape and dye, so for once, I’m clicking away on my keyboard with pretty sparkly nails and on fleek brows which is only slightly marred by the tatty old slippers and the mark on my blouse which I suspect is a dollop of yogurt from my breakfast.
Then I suddenly realised it’s been a lifetime since I’ve found a decent skin so I kept my AV fingers crossed and popped over to the Lara Hurley skin shop and I don’t know if the “New” skin is new because sadly for me it’s a Catwa skin.
Since I can’t show you that skin I did pop on one of the old GG’s which is a Lelutka skin and you can pop over for yourself because I do know that quite a few of our readers are Catwa mesh heads.
I’m about 100% sure that none of her GG’s come with appliers but I love her skins so much I actually bought the applier and at that time it was only 100% for the SLink applier and for that, you get all the shades so basically it was a bargain or of course you could simply use your mesh body hud to get a skin match etc. This was quite a while ago but I don’t think the prices have changed and I do know the Anna Hurley group is still a free one.
Sorry, the clothes I’m wearing were either bought or old gifts and are not available. Logging off now to go change my top and make a big mug of coffee but I think when I log back in I’m gonna try to find myself a new skin…hopefully for free lol.

The main problem you have when trying to clear the clutter from your invent is when you come across something that’s so good you have to TP over to the place you got it from to see if it’s still there or there is something new so inevitable instead of just concentrating clearing the clutter out you end up clearing out very little.
Which brings me to “Swallow”.
The gift is 2 simple skin and this one as you can see it is a pale and young skin with a glow. By “simple” I also mean NO HUDS! Nothing, nada, zilch and all you get is the same skin with different brow colour options and I think the same light basic make-up as well.
Since I’m a mesh body addict I’m not sure if I will have shown you this skin before as I usually don’t bother but it’s actually just too pretty not to and of course you may not have a mesh addiction or if you do you have the time to be able to use the hud that comes with your mesh body bits to make your own match.
Or you can wear a high collar and hide the miss matched neck LOL. This is the same skin as the top picture. I simply and quickly slapped on some basic tattoo layered make-up inc teeth, just to show you that sometimes a pretty skin can be enhanced with make-up and there is a lot of free make up out there.
I’ve only checked the MP shop, as I’m naked from the waist down, and these skins plus a couple of other dollarbies are there but check out the in-world shop as well because often there are different gifts in both shop and MP.

I’ve been trying to find a fine and free skin but so far it’s been a struggle, however, a couple of interesting things did crop up and the least of these is this really lovely and yes FREE skin.
Before I start blabbing on I will give you the details first. A free GG skin from YS&YS(your skin your shape) taken in my Optimums Nams setting with a face light so low I forget I even have it on, it’s like the Touche Eclat for SL skins but with or without this is a lovely skin.
So whats the problem? It’s just that, a skin and no appliers at all so you can see the dreaded join at the neck! I’m seriously spoilt and lazy and since I have a PumeC addiction and they come with so many Appliers as standard it’s been a long time since I’ve had to splash out and buy one separate to the skin. I’m also totally lazy because of course Mesh Bodies such as my SLink do come with a skin matching Hud but “ain’t nobody no time for that” or rather I don’t but of course you just may have. This skin is to be found in the in-world shop but I was also looking on the Marketplace, that’s a headache in itself, and I grabbed a whole load of the YS&YS demos and they’re gorgeous skin so yes I had high hopes when I TPed over but sadly just the 1 giftie and if you’re not a lazy mare like me it might just be whatcha looking for.
I almost forgot to say that although you get 1 skin you get 5 shades and some shapes and I did slap some of my make up layers on(not in this picture though you get exactly what you see) to see if I could change the look and most of my lips sticks/eyeshadows/blushers etc covered up the original layers so it means 1 skin=several different looks. The other thing is that although the YS&YS is mainly a skin shop there is a small selection of decor items and there is a really interesting and unique kitchen set up.
Another thing I noticed when scrolling through the never-ending lists on the Marketplace is there is a pretty thriving Gacha resale market and a lot of high-end skins for sale at Gacha prices. So if you have some Lindens to spare but can’t afford the shop prices then the Gacha prices might just be what you want and because you don’t have to take a chance then you can find something you like but you won’t be able to try the demo and BE CAREFUL to read the description of what it is you’re buying. I’d hate to see someone buy a skin only to find it was an eyeshadow etc.
Stoopid me and of course a lot of people still don’t have mesh bits and this skin is obviously wearable for you.
PS The hair is one of the Mina gacha hairs. Chantal is one of my favs as although on the surface she’s a simple and unfussy look the hair is swept back into a big loose bun at the base of my neck.
I received another notice off PumeC that the group tis still free to join so if you haven’t already JUMP TO IT esp when this notice also inc the fact that there are NEW gifties out for us you might want to now.
However, I TPed straight over and OMHAI it’s so busy I was in lag HELL with all the other GB’s(Greedy B*tches) like me trying to grab it lol that I could barely move and so I decided to just LM grab and run and save it to treat myself later when hopefully it’s calmed down but again if you haven’t joined yet while it’s still free I wouldn’t leave it too long. I also spotted a “salesroom” which again I didn’t stand a chance of checking out but again I sure will be.
PS The sims where Sly Puma(otybis)s has her shop are always beautifully landscaped and if you like to snap more than just bargains then this is a brill place to take snaps or just hang out.

I always promise to do something and then I either forget to do it or normally I get distracted which is what happened this morning. I was intending on hunting down the cupcakes but this skin was too good to miss.
Awww I don’t know I why I look so sad LOL. OK this is a sub gift from E Vary and all it takes is one slap and it’s sent to you. You may have to slap the sub board on the wall and then the picture to get this skin sent to you.
OK I lost the notes I had made because I have scrambled eggs for brains at this moment but I do remember you get 2 skins, small boobs n big boobs. 3 make up tattoo layers, not worn, a nice eye shadow, lippie and some very distinctive freckles, 2 Mesh Body Appliers and although I noticed that one of them was for Omega I can’t remember what the other one was and there was also a small pack of Mesh Head Appliers and of course I can’t remember any of them LOL. Just a really nice skin, pretty on its own, easy to add any make up etc you wish and of course it does come with some Appliers if you use them.
BUT remember that because I’m wearing my own shape the overall look on you may/will look different. As it happens this pack also comes with a small selection of shapes which I tried on for fun and they’re good shapes but we all grow to love our own in SL but you may want to try them out plus the lovely curvaceous shape in the pack.
PS I’m swilling my mouth with salty water, face isn’t as puffy gums have calmed down and apart from a low-grade headache and dogs breath I’m feeling pretty damned good and the sun is coming my way and as soon as it hits my garden I’m outta here. Have a great day people.
Whassup! Yet another AMAZING FREE skin! Honestly I was so excited when the notice came out from Lumiya Rae about her new GG’s I TPed straight over to her shop, Lumae and cammed over the heads of everyone else who had come running and snagged it.
Indulge me with these pictures, I think there is a little bit of a frustrated Ballerina, artist, writer etc in all of us so I threw on some flats and poses and just day dreamed a little bit. Actually I will confess I also popped on a Ballerina AO and then flounced and danced my way to my next Freebie LOL.
In this pack you get 2 shapes, not worn, and 3 skins but the only difference between the skins is the eyebrows. Normally I don’t like browless versions but in this case I did, the second is if I remember correctly white and then the dark brows I am wearing in this picture. The icing on the cake is soooo many APPLIERS! Way too many to mention but at a glance some of the most popular ones in SL I’m so pleased with not just the simple prettiness of the skin but the appliers is such a generous addition.
The smile is mine and doesn’t come with this skin but again I do believe I spotted some Mouth Appliers. To find this GG and a couple of others then check out the room behind the reception desk. An excellent and pretty darn generous gift off Lumiya Rae and this one is an absolute keeper for me.
When I returned to LM grab I spotted that there is a retirement sale going on and although I didn’t check out the whole shop everything in the first room I checked out was reduced by 50% but there is only a day or so left for this sale but even better Lumiya is selling off the old stock to make room for NEW skins!
As I said I pirouetted and plied my way over to the FAC shop (FA Creations Fashion) because this is another shop that not only has excellent GG’s out but so reasonable and such good texturing items it makes me spend Lindens!
A lovely simple embroidered top with the added bonus of a 4 colour Hud just join the group and smack the board and you’re beach ready.
Just before I logged off for the night I decided to fly my kite, all rhyming is accidental.
