TCS – Picnic time !

Oh this is good – you and I neeed this in our soon-to-be summery lives! This is the “Ida picnic set” (food is not included but can be purchased in store). What a terrific idea to use industrial cable reels as tables – love it. Spread a pretty cloth et voila – they look grand. So so so, the hay bales have singles and couples poses and plenty of them. Stump and chair have 20 female/male poses each – plenty to get comfy with I’m sure. If, like me, you already own a million foody type decor items – play around with them and make a sweet tea party or picnic on the tables – or perhaps you’d like a more grown up gathering with drinks trays – coffee with friends – Ohhhh ice creams!

The Creative Spark – NEW EVENT!

A new event is always a cause for celebration – and this promises to be a right corker ! The Creative Spark is every two weeks, each round is a different “theme”. Great mix of home & decor, full perm , clothing and accessories amongst the designers. Starting off with a theme of “A day at the park” – there is so much choice. Now the super good news is for the duration of the round items will be at a discount price – and boy-oh-boy the discounts are totally worth homing in on. FlyingArts has some really pretty items out – I’m showing the bridge with roses above – packed full of sweet poses for single pringles and couples, and you’re given the poses for both sides of the bridge, which is pretty neato.

Ok I admit it – I’m a sucker for a picnic rug ! This is also from Flying Arts “Sweet Picnic” – singles, couples, eating & drinking poses all crammed in! I love the wee beasties – did you spot them? If you click them they make sounds.

Free day out with added shopping action (of course)

Its been ages since I had time to play with our little daughter Aurora but yesterday I decided to take a couple of hours out – et voila! We had a fantastic day together at Pal play park. It’s a super set up if you have a zooby baby, or are a child avatar. All the brilliant Zooby play toys are here and you can rez your baby so they can fool around with it ALL! Aurora loved the painting easel and looked ever so charming in her new outfit I bought her earlier from Sweet Penelope (my fav all time zooby clothes shop). We also stopped by the main Zooby store and got her ears pierced, I chose a little pair of diamond studs, dead easy to apply and really pretty.

The whole area is crammed with things to do, a main fun pool for children, all sorts of toys (for both Zooby & child avatars) plus a deeper pool for adults with a couple of Zooby floatie rings tossed in. The gardens are magical – really – bunnies pop out of bushes and scamper about, butterflies float over flowers and there are plenty of benches and picnic tables around to relax on. Joined to the park is a small shopping area and also a rest room where you can feed & change your Zooby baby – I bought a bottle of milk from a cart outside and let Aurora guzzle.

We had a lovely time here, finished off with a picnic and a cuddle ❤ Definitely worth a visit, I felt refreshed and relaxed afterwards, don’t forget , if you can spare a few pennies to drop them in the donation box! You might also be interested in Camp Pal, I joined the group (free to join) to see what social events they have and found that the Camp is on now (ends 8/7)! Sounds brilliant, I will head over later to day and scope it all out with my little sidekick Aurora ❤

A new round of Perfect Ten has begun and its loaded with gear to complete your homes. I plucked a few things out to share with you today from Lunar seasonal designs and Closer to the Heart. The beautiful patio table and chairs, parasol and BBQ are all from Lunar Seasonal designs, gawd I really loved playing with this. Lunar always gives you ultimate flexibility with colour/pattern change on most pieces. You’ve got to check out the menu driven foodie things on the table! Lovely selection and quality of meals, plus the BBQ – spotted this on a trip to the store a few days ago – its brilliant! You can just spot the little garden lamp from Closer to the Heart in the background – low prim and super pretty with the ability to turn the fireflies on or off.

Two more items from Closer to the Heart above, the Gaia fountain and dead cute wagon of summertime flowers. If you purchase items from the event you also get a hefty 50% discount – which is always nice but I have to say even at full price you can’t beat the value.

Just in time for all that beach and summer lounging, Chez Moi have the “Luau Duo” set out for sale. Such a stylish set but also whimsical and pretty. The canopy will protect you from any midday glare and provide a shady spot to relax in. Two piles of juicy coloured pillows for you to sit upon, alone or as a couple. This set comes in a PG or Adult version ($799 or $520). Attached are some pretty shrubs, a rug and supporting poles for the tent.

As well as relaxing you can also dine ! Huge selection of hot dishes, plus some scrummy desserts – also Sushi. Some poses give out objects to wear – look out for them! I haven’t tried the adult poses, but Id imagine they are the usual high standard that we’ve come to expect from this designer. Thanks Nanda ❤

I want to ride my bicycle !

AH yes, Queen said it best ! This is the special 4th of July version of the new Aphrodite bicycle, and ohmaiiii its sooper fun. If you want to see how this works there is a handy video right here made by the creator. Watch it, its sooo adorable !

If you touch the centre part, it slowly opens and gives you access to the concealed picnic. Lovely animations for eating & drinking , plus poses for riding, map reading , resting etc – this is my new FAVOURITE thing everrrrrr ! Heres the spec’s for those that wanna know it all:
