It’s mahoosive! (Freebies & Sale).

Taking a landscaping break because I seriously think I’m starting to suffer from snow blindness.

I was most surprised that Amiable was so quiet since it has a New GG out plus a sale going on but it made my quick visit nice and lag free.

Most people will recognise the jumper and skirt and maybe the bag although I don’t recognise the bag but then again I don’t usually snag accessories.  Amiable keeps out all of the old GG’s so there is now quite a few of them and most people will probably have or still have some in their invent but the scarf is deffo new.  You get 2 versions, rigged and unrigged which is pretty good because this thing is “mahoosive” and the unrigged version has a simple sizing menu in it.

I will say I had wanted to show you the very pretty polka dot skirt but it didn’t really go with the look I was trying to create but when you’re there just grab away.

Anyhow it was a nice break so I’m feeling refreshed enough to start landscaping again.

Woah! So I finally got over to the Cosmopolitan event which turns out to be celebrating 5 years in SL and you know what that means?  Nope no cake but even better…OOODLES and OOODLES of gifties and even better the gifts are so good!

OK ignore the room I’m in as it’s actually a Rare Gacha win from this event, yes I do spend Lindens lol, but the rest is all freebies and I was having a very pleasant time just rezzing stuff, trying the clothes on and of course seeing what is editable and then I get the heads up that this event only has a few more days left to go!!!

So I snapped some basic piccies in my Nams setting of what I already had out so you can see the quality and yes this shabby chic/romantic fireplace is editable LOL.

It’s obvious whats what in this picture but if you don’t need any new decor items don’t worry, shoes, boots, clothes, nails, jewelry etc are all there as well and from well-known SL shops.

The dress in the top picture is from one of my fav SL shops and I loved this metallic with sheer bits outfit as well.  There was a pair of jeans as well as a halter top that I had briefly tried on and that top is a keeper for me when I refind it.

I will be logging back in-world soon to continue with my happy unpacking and sorting out but since this event is in its last few days I didn’t want to delay telling you about it.  So over all really you need to just go and join the Cosmopolitan group, invite in the entry, and click away as there are so many gifts and so many lovely surprises just waiting for you.

Update because I’ve found out we have till the 13th to get grabby so still a reasonable amount of time but at the same time don’t linger.

Yeah at last.

Still “trapped” waiting for Mr Postie to arrive but I mooched around SL and then check my notes and groups and just as I was about to give up a notice came through from Blah Blah Blah.  In my opinion a perfect Christmas Hunt in that it’s easy to find the hidden Christmas tree, they’re scattered around the shops and sim but are still within a small area and the pressie are worth finding.

The shoes are mine but I’m pretty sure that there will be a pair in this SLhunt.  I simply grabbed about 5 hunt items and one Dollarbie and the Crimbo gift from under the tree and unpacked.  There is a really great pair of low slung cropped pants with a wide belt that I particularly liked and a “glitter” dress which is actually pretty classy and of course this top and these cropped pants.  Both come with colour changing Hud very impressed with them both.  I should maybe have used a lighter colour for the top so you can see that it has creases and lines which give it more definition.

So sorry can’t remember which was a hunt item which was the Gift under the tree and I found a hidden Dollarbie next to one of the hidden trees so there may even be more Dollarbie hidden one thing for sure is when I get back inworld I will be going back and finding as many as I can but the clues are pretty easy to follow and the little tree’s you’re looking for are a nice spotable size.

The hair is of course a Minas and it’s called Selenia  (and the skin a PumeC LOL).  Honestly when I’m chosing a hair I DO try on more than Mina’s hair, I love so many other hair shops and my invent is stuffed with hairs  but I just keep on comming back again and again to Minas hair.  This one is a simple long hair which because it goes over the shoulders allows you to show off your top but also to wear long hair.  However this is also only available at the Arcade event.  If you don’t want to try your hand at Pot Luck then of course there are ooodles of Gacha Yardsales which a lot of people, me, look forward to so we can pick the exact colour we want.

PS now I’m inworld grabbing the LM it looks like the Dollarbie is part of the “feel my sack hunt” and yes you can have a dirty snigger, what you’re looking for is a little red sack.  I’ll give you the starting LM for that as well.

Revenge! (Cheap n Free n Fun).

Revenge of the Pins!  Have to confess I wasn’t going to go to The Wash this round because in all honesty I didn’t think there would be too much new to interest but I decided to pop over in any case  and was happy to see lots of new stuff.  Clothes, SLink shoes, jewels, skins, decor items etc and this tiny Bowling pin AV.  Since I just couldn’t squeeze yet another item of clothing in my invent I decided that I’d go for something fun and yup thats me squeezed into a tiny AV, you get everything ie alpha, mesh, and the bowling ball what you don’t get is the lightning bolts coming from the ball I added them for a dramatic look LOL.

Then I went back to grab this mesh dress.  Again just me having fun in one of my fav builds, a ruined theatre in the sky.  This dress is beautiful, shimmery and very very pink but you do actually also get a pink and green skirted one in the pack.  Other colour options are available on this stall.  Sorry I was too busy dancing I forgot to do a zooooom in on the “stripper shoes”.  Free from the latest round of the Cosmopolitan.  You do have to join the free  group and as Baylen has pointed out the GG is above the doorway going into one of the 3 rooms.  You get 2 colours in this pack and they’re for SLink High feet.  Trust me WORTH going for them!

Everything at The Wash is only 10Lds, nice that the whole place is laid out in an easy to follow pattern so you shouldn’t have much problem locating these.

Tea time (freebies).

One of my RL treats is to go for afternoon tea with little cakes and sandwiches with the crust cut off and pretending I am a Lady (ignoring the fact I cannot stand tea) so when I say this sweet and so beautifully done hunt item I had to have it.

Sweet and simple poses, using one in this picture, and if you click on the tea-cup you get a cup to sip from and click the cookies for a treat.  Honestly I rezzed this sat down and only  took 1 picture and although I may have soften the focus a little bit this is just lovely and FREEEEEE.  Of course it’s this elegant because this is one of the (TBATH) The Breakfast At Tiffany Hunt.

To go with the tea time theme is this sweet floral dress.  Yet another great hunt which I have to confess I almost missed and I would have been annoyed if I had.  A perfect example of a perfect hunt.  A small and lovely well landscaped shopping area, not too big but big enough to offer plenty of small ramshackle shops, seating areas, meeting areas, water ways.  Some lovely and not overly priced shops to browse in and some gifts and the icing on the cake is a simple to follow hunt and you even have a board which shows you what the prizes are.  What you’re looking for it a small paper flower but if you click the hunt board which is in the area you TP into you get a hint list which makes it so easy I found everything and thoroughly enjoyed wandering around.

Sweet Justice.

I don’t think I really did these divine summer dresses from Miseria really the justice that they deserve in my last post.  A basic spring/summer dress but check out the colour so pretty and  gorgeous in their simplicity.  You can see in this picture the lovely draping and all of this the colour, texturing and the way the clothes hang shows the quality.

I wasn’t even going to try on the pink  but I’m so glad I did as this isn’t a bubble gum childish pink it has a touch of nude which makes it such a subtle pink. This one doesn’t have the pale stripe going through it like the Orange and there is also a blue colour but I’ve not tried that one on yet.  So of course I popped over to Miseria and snagged myself some new poses and then wondered how I had missed all of Athena’s new clothes.  Simple Spring/Summer dresses, skirts, tops and bags all understated excellent quality texturing, sweet and wearable.  She has a simple strapless dress with the subtlest of ombre shading I’ve seen and it’s this touch which makes her clothes stand out.  Make sure to  check out the other shop on this shopping sim because this is a collection of shops with some of the best quality of clothing, hair, skins, clothes etc all in the same place so a lovely place to while away some time and maybe treat yourself.

Woo Hoo I am away on a weekender in a pretty Northern town with plenty of shops, markets, countryside, bakeries and on and on so this is  just a last cheeky “bum” shot till I get back  but as it happens this cute sharks fin comes from Miseria and it comes from one of her Gacha machines near the entrance.  Just a fun young accessory.

Ridiculous (Freebies)

Love the hair Faith was wearing in her last post so I decided to pop over to the Japan Fair and check it out.

The whole sim is packed with so many unique items.  Everything from furniture to poses, hair to nails.  So many amazing things and you will notice many items have a sticker on letting you know how much of the money will be donated to this worthy cause.  OH I’ve just noticed when reading the Blog that in fact Ryo Ixxel the owner/creator of RH Design House is the driving force behind the whole thing.  I for one am so grateful and I treated myself to his excellent mini cafe but also this amazing FREE bed!

Can’t believe that this bed is an actual freebie but it is.  Only 6 prims with 6 poses, I am using one of them in this picture.  The scattered newspapers are with the bed.  Really lovely organic natural fabrics and lovely plump pillows.

The headboard looks as though it’s full of storage and again this is only 6Prims!

Another little sweetness from.RH Design House is this little linked compartment box which is a single prim and a perfect little decor item, it’s in the box with the bed.

As it happens when I popped back to get the LM I noticed that this next freebie  is also in Ryo Ixxel’s main shop as a Group Gift but in his shop on the Japan sim it’s stood next to the bed waiting for you to grab it.

Just so much attention to details and so low primmed.  A single prim for each item, the drawer fronts even have a little message written on them.  The chair has a slot in the back to hold letters and again just a single prim.
