Just as I was about to log out and go grab myself some lunch (homemade bread and gammon) I decided to pop over to Genre which looks as though this latest round will be over pretty soon but I did not expect to find such great find I would have kicked myself if I had missed them.  Since this latest event maybe over in the next couple of days don’t hesitate and get yourself over there right now.  You may not need the 2 amazing beds I’ve picked up but there are costumes, wigs, shoes, poses, decor items all in the Baroque theme.

This is such a statement bed with the tall drapes and gold gilding it’s perfect for Royalty.

This other bed s much more suitable for most normal sized homes and comes in 2 separate pieces (the drapes and bed aren’t linked).  I picked the dark wood but there is a lighter version and a gold one as well.  Gothicy without the undo heaviness.  This one from Kalopsia comes with poses the top one doesn’t. I’m doing this post so quickly I just rezzed a room and snapped away and I didn’t take good notes so I can’t remember who made the top bed but the stands are set out in orderly fashion so it won’t be hard to find these 2 beds and so much more.

Blimey I’m rushing this post so much I’ve forgotten to mention that NOTHING including these 2 beds is over a 100Lds so so affordable.

Don’t Turn Around!

Sorry I can’t turn around because on the front of this top is a very rude word (F*ck).  normal go for clothing in SL or RL that have slogans on them but since this comes from Vita’s Boudoir I of course TPed as soon as I got the notice of a Group Gift on offer.  Check out the skirt. A very wet leather look but it’s it’s wind lifted look that is the attention grabber. Fortunately comes with a pair of panties or if you dare to bare!

Both items are mesh and Group Gifts and that is still FREE to join.

A short post, for once, but RL is shouting at me I just wanted to get this lovely GG up.  So I will not wax lyrical about Vita’s Boudoir and her amazing dramatic clothes and costumes, over blown hair and statement pieces I will save all that for my next Vita’s Boudoir post.

Finally the LOVE DONNA FLORA  event is now up and running.

The sim was donated by Chablish Kinsella and Felicity Blumentha designed the sim to be glorious to look at and yet in a much appreciated simple way.  On the top of the hill you have an old market town centre and you walk through one of the 4 arch ways and down past some glorious vineyards where around the edge of the sim is a path and on each side are stalls and barrows packed with goodies.  This means you will not miss a thing. Special mention also to  Katy (katya.valeska) and probably so many others whose name I don’t know but to create such an impressive event take people a lot of time and effort which usually doesn’t seem appreciated.

If you haven’t heard about Squinternet Larnia by now then you’re in for a treat, this is the Lovely Lady (she must be lovely for so many people to spend so much of their time, effort or generous donations) who owns Donna Flora.  A shop packed with the unique, bright, colourful, womanly, feminine, retro costumes and creations that you can find in SL.  Sadly at the moment her health is not good.  I’ll put the link in for a read of her story but the main thing is all these people have come together to show their appreciation and maybe just maybe raise some much needed funds for Squinternet.

Some of the biggest names are here and there is everything from poses to SLink nails and everything in between.   If your on a limited budget then there are clothes starting a very reasonable price so even if you can’t indulge yourself in a high end dress there is still plenty here for you to treat yourself to.  Each item has been clearly market as to how much of the money will go towards Donna Flora (Squinternet) and you will be surprised at how many are at a 100%.  But if course you can pop to her very own in world shop but just make sure to set some time aside for both as there is so much to see you wouldn’t want to be rushed.

I adore all forms of flowers in SL esp the ones you can wear. This dress comes from Lybra. A form fitting mesh dress with wispy skirt attachments but it’s the creamy fat roses that have the WOW factor.  Dress can be worn with or without the roses or you can even wear them on other outfits. The hair I am wearing in both pictures is called  Daphne.  Comes from Amacci.  Here you can buy everything to make your AV look hot and sexy, skins, shapes, eyes etc but it’s the hair I’m after.  I knew the name was familiar to me and thats because one of my more wilder wicked hairs comes from here.  What I appreciate most is how she has her hair styles laid out in sections so the updo’s, long hair, braids etc are all together.  An updo hairstyle with an optional flower attachment. Use the HUD to change between 15 flower colors.
Daphne is available in colour packs with 6-8 hairs in each.

Rain has finally broken through the incessant heat so I’m sheltering inside not from the heat but the rain but it means I can finally blog the Maitreya Sale.  A massive 50- 70% off everything from Top to Tail (hair and shoes and everything else in between).

Wasn’t an easy shot to take because this comes without a top or even panties! How rude! What it does come with is a more than reasonable amount of stocking shades a total of 12.  One of the great sale items going on at Maitreya the first they have had in 3 years so of course being a massive fan of their clothes and esp their hair I TPed and then TPed back out because “the world and his wife” were there.  Happily now the crush has died down I was able to grab myself some bargains.  This Girdle and stocking set is only a  100Lds of retro satin sexiness. The waist is a seamlessly blended sculpted slightly flared belt.  A beautiful salmon colour with the sheen of satin. Maitreya’s texturing is one of the best.

A simple body suit but those darker patched on my hips are actually resizeable ruffles which you can wear with or without so it’s a stand alone outfit or a top for jeans or skirt.   It maybe a standard bodysuit but because it comes from Maitreya it’s more than that.  Beautiful texturing, the ruffles are a lovely touch and easily tweaked to change the size.

Both of these items are non mesh and if your still not into mesh then this is the place to pick clothes up which have the quality that stands up so well against mesh.

This however is one of Maitreya’s mesh dresses and this as well as another one of theirs is the first mesh dress I owned.  Even at the time it wasn’t the cheapest but it is such an elegant timeless, ageless style that it was worth the Lindens.  Reduced to 225Lds which may still be pricy to a lot of people but of course the mesh items come with demos and trust me grab this one and try it on.  I of course picked a more subtle colour but there is a whole range of shades for all items.

HAIR HAIR HAIR Shouting that out because you must not miss the hair.  Prices slashed to 75 for packs of shades. Amazing hair with hats or scarves, great colouring etc. Not wearing one of their hairs in this photo but I swear I think I now own them all.  LM given for each shop however they’re all together and within easy walking.

Little Lamb

Seems to have been a looonnnggg time since Lamb Bellic has had a new hair out so the moment she sent out a notice I was there with a bunch of Lindens grasped in my sweaty paw.  Ennie Meanie Minie Mo….I picked Chelsea Girls, a cute hat n hair comb with subtle little ears.  You can change the colour of the hat but a slightly different way from usual in that you need to find a Sandbox or your home where you have 133 free prims so you can rezz it on the ground click the hair and you get a choice of 7 colours all shaded and very realistic looking.  I went for the Yummie Chocolate Bars pack and you get a total of 4 shades named after well-known choccie bars.  What Lamb to me is more known for is her amazing shading.  Even in the more normal colours you get subtle and lovely shading which means your hair is not flat looking.  If you’re into colours though this is where she excels.  Lamb Bellic was the first place I bought Ombre hair from so to me she brought Ombre into SL before Ombre was fashionable.

Lots of demos a couple of freebies you will be so tempted.

Lady Of The Lake

Once again I found myself wandering around Boudoir and yet again I couldn’t decide on which amazing outfit to buy.  Precious Restless is a RL designer and artist and you can tell that from her SL clothes.  They’re stunningly textured, creatively designed, feminine and FUN outfits.  This dress is called “Narcissus Lake Dress”  the underskirt moves and flows just like water I’m not sure what that texturing is called where the actual pattern moves but it’s so pretty and so effective.  Then a top layer of lily pads and then just to make it stand out even more, around you floats/flies adorable fishes and flying insects. If your unsure of the quality of her clothing then at a 100Lds this is more than reasonably priced so you can buy n try and know that if you go for one of her more pricier outfits you can be assured of the quality.

Doesn’t this photo look like a work of art and yet it’s  a close up of the skirt so you can get some idea of how “watery” the underskirt is. You can see just a couple of the fish and one of the dragonflies but all in all there is about a dozen swimming and flying around you.  This is more obvious in the first photo.

Boudoir is a big shop packed with temptation.  Hair, shoes, costumes and a small selection of furnishings. Outside is an equally small but ethereal selection of plants inc the most gorgeous over sized Dandelions.  Don’t ignore the greenhouse esp if your a Petite because she has a select selection of her clothes for those petites who love to stun.  Lovely to see she has the accessories so even if your on the small size you can still recreate the look and for those who love their Lola’s then a small selection of her clothes have been adapted for the boobalicious.

As I’ve said Precious Restless is  a RL designer and artist and she has brought her amazing designs into  SL with her but if you check out my links you can see RL women wearing her clothes and how stunning they look.  Because SL is only limited by your imagination she has allowed herself to go OTT with the flowers, flounces, butterflies and frills making you stand out from the crowd.

Everything I love is in these photos, from my Laqroki skin, Post Furniture, Etchaflesh corset, Virtual Poses, No.9 Stockings and my shamelessly sexy Moody Stilettos and last but not least the hair.  How sexy, decadent and elegant are they? and amazingly they are so …CHEAP…or should I change that to reasonably priced because they are not cheap quality.  Not only do you get magnificent hair but each comes with a choice of colours, 4 shades in a pack and changed by clicking on the hair, and of course easy resizing BUT the accessories can all be changed.  To be honest I really cannot list ALL of the choices you are given with these hairs.  The first hair shown I’ve bought the fat pack and not only do I get a choice of 16 colours but 2 choices of roses AND a total of 20!! colours.  All of them have very generous colour combos and they’re also in the demo packs so get clicking and you will see what I mean.  OK how cheap? 200LDS!!! thats all and even the Fat Packs are only 450Lds
