Mostly Free & Cheap to Wear

Ohhhh looky what I found ! Yes yes more things to wear, to make those photos pop a little. Actually it all started when I received a mystery gift from Since1975, Im not in the group so wasnt sure why Id received it, so headed over there to investigate. Bottom right is the group gift, little bottles of boys & girls tears to wear, with several different poses included. While I was there I did join the group (its free) and collected a couple more group gifts, the cash fan (brilliant!) and the beautiful bottle of wine with a lush velvet bow. I did spot yesterday the sci-fi tablet at the Cyber Factory for just $25L – and result, it was still out for us today – so I snaffled it up (top left)

NOT Free but for doggie lovers such a heartwarming scene.

I just love this little scene and if it wasn’t for the fact CATS WIN AND DOGS SUCK I’d buy it. At only 350Ld and 31 prims I think not only is that a fair price but such reasonable prims for so much details means you can plonk this on even a small patch of land.

This is very much an animal and prebuilt landscapes shop Best of all from my run around the sim most of these little scenes have animals in them, the Sunflower garden was my fav.

There is a lot of single animals you can buy, everything from bears to fish and it’s spread over I suspect the whole sim.

PS. Almost forgot the “freebies”. The group is free to join and there are 6 gifts out, all with cute animals but also all very Christmas themed and since I’m culling my invent I didn’t get any of them. There seems to be 2 main areas and 1 doesn’t have the Group Gift but you will find the area with the Group gifts close by if the LM I’ve given you doesn’t take you direct to the gifts.

“”Old World” Charm.(Dollarbies).

I spotted a flapping fish being used as decor and I want it for my beach so I grabbed the info and that’s how I ended up back at a shop called “Old World”.

This is a shop which flys a bit under the radar and yet it’s STUFFED with such good stuff.  A lot is in the Role Play vein yet so much of it is perfect for anyone’s home but mainly garden.  For people who have small plots of land, there are ready-made veg gardens where you simply rezz and enjoy.

At the LM are a whole load of Dollarbies.  This Pavillion is one of them, just stunning and it’s a good reflection of the standard of the designs you can buy and only 11 prims.

This is as good now as it was when it was first set out for us.  I think it has 4 textures and this is the one I like the best.it

Oh Lord, I love bagels and these bagels look good enough to eat. You get 2 in the pack both wearables but you can rezz one as decor as it’s only 1 prim.  The second one comes with a sort of “hold helper” which is a bit like an “ankle lock” and as you can see it makes for a good pose.

That potted plant is another Dollarbie.  There are many more and if you want to splash out it’s only 20Lds to join the group and there are some handy decor items.  I may join it just to grab the heap of snow-covered pumpkins which will look great at Wintertime.

As for the fish, I’m going to have to walk around yet again as although I’ve checked out the Marketplace shop it’s not there.

First TP of the day=first crash of the day so I decided to remain logged out and checked out the SL Marketplace to save myself some grief and I found some things but it was these excellent basic jeans and the glasses which got me logging back inworld.

I won’t say these jeans haven’t been blogged before, but I can’t find them in my invent, if I have then sorry….not sorry because there is nothing basic about these basic jeans and such a handy addition to any invent.  If you think you already have this style still pick them up as you may find these Dollarbies/Promo from Shiva shop have a more up to date texture.

I was so impressed with these I braved a TP to go to the Shiva inworld shop and these are also there, on the wall with the other colours but these “tan” ones are clearly marked as “Promo”.  I also spotted in the back of the shop Freebies inc a very pretty pastel Summery dress which I was actually going to grab from the Marketplace but I couldn’t be bothered…keeping it real here lol.

Am I the only person who was sooo happy when I was diagnosed as being as blind as a bat?. OK, I’m not that bad but in RL I rock glasses and in fact, the ones I wear are almost as identical to these but I only have the 1 pair while this 10Ld version off the Marketplace comes with a hud of colours and all of them are good.  I didn’t bother to check out the Rebellion inworld shop as I’d already pushed my luck in TPing to the one shop but will try it later.

Today I’m going to Pinterest, plant seeds and SL like a pro because I’m sick of dealing with dumb people…and it’s not even lunchtime!

PS.  Those glasses are, obviously, pretty unisexed and you do get a resizer in the hud so go get em boys, and by that I mean Moz lol.

A bit of everything!(Oodles of Freebies).

Blimey! If you join the free Vive 9 group you will find 3 big bags of freebies from the Vive 9, Ryvolter and Fiore shops, I think they’re all owned by the same lady or are connected in some way, and each bag is stuffed with goodies.

I’ve only scratched the surface but there is such a variety of stuff everything from hair (not worn), shoes, boots, bags, stoles, outfits, hair and even a kitchen sink! Although the sink is in the skybox you get and yes I’m posing in it lol.

I’m only just wearing a few of the things although most for me will be binned I’ve come across some really nice keepers (wearable and rezzable make up case for one) so I can’t imagine a nicer way to waste time than sitting on my platform and unpacking and sorting through all of this stuff.  I also have to mention that a few things are old Gacha wins and are still set at non-copy and trans so a really nice way to pick up some gifts for friends/loved ones.

The LM takes you to the Vive 9 shop but I couldn’t find the gifts in the shop itself, however, I checked the group notices and they’re in there so if you can’t find them in any of the 3 shops you can just snag them from there.

PS.  I have a feeling that this is usually a paid for group so I would make this first on your “to-do” list when you get inworld.

Vive 9, Ryvolter & Fiore shops

1x10Lds Overwhelmed!(Ooodles and Ooodles of Gifts).

I TPed from the Roiro shop to check out their Christmas tree which you can only buy at The Chapter Four event so I TPed over and for a measly 10Lds joining fee you get “Ooodles” of gifts at this event.

Virtually every stall has a gift on it but I ended up with rezzing exhaustion and so out of all of the gifts I unpacked I’m just showing you the 1 item because I thought it makes for a very interesting Christmas card lol.

As always lots of this n that and all excellent quality.

The Chapter Four Event.

Bad Taste!(Freebies).

This hanging pose is just one of the tasteless gifts from “June Trenkins”  BUT it is all intended in good old-fashioned Halloween gruesomeness,  You get 3 hanging poses, wearable rope, and 3 tied to the cross poses, wearable cross, and I do believe the poses without the props.

I have to admit the twisted part of me thinks this will be a GREAT freak out people prop, as wearing it you hover just as shown, you can FOLLOW people! Can you imagine others just casually minding their own business doing what they like to do in SL and there you are GLIDING BEHIND THEM!  Or just go shopping and as you’re hovering there if anyone asks what you’re doing you can just say “OH, just hanging about” BOOM BOOM!

Can you see me?  I betcha can’t but if you look closely as closely as if you were looking for a nip slip you might just be able to see my fingers wiggling between the boards and my “help me” note.  An imaginative and wearable pose.  As with the noose, you could just pop into a shop/event etc somewhere where other AV’s are and quickly pop this on and disappear under the ground leaving only the planks and your wriggling fingers and see how many people just walk over you LOL.

There are some more wearables and I remember a rather interesting cauldron for just 10Lds that I might just check out again when I’m LM grabbing.
