Fated!

Usually so late any sales event going on is well over by the time I find out but at last there is time to post about the latest sale event going on a FATEwear.  Sadly it’s only a 7 day event so for the sake of speed I’m going to rummage in my Flickr and find some old pictures to reuse and hopefully if I get time I will post some new one.

Can’t remember the details of each and every look but I do remember that these jeans are a seperate item from the jacket and you get different heights in the waist line so you can show as little or as much as you want.

One of my fav pictures because Faith was unaware of me posing outside as she was setting her home up for pictures. These are seperates but like all of Damiens clothes they can be mixed and matched with ease.

FATESALE

Should have used this picture first as it was from a previous sale.  As you can see it’s a massive 50% off it’s just the time which is limited.

Scrolling through all my pictures makes it painfully clear that I only seem to have clothes from FATEwear or Deadwool and a handful from other shops but the reality is that quality stands out even in a rezzing world.

FATEwear has everything from casual to smart, also some RPing clothes for men and women but make sure to check out the top floor.  I have the gloves pack which some with so many hand variations they’re better than SLinks and cheaper.  There is also socks and stuff like that hidden on the top floor and yet again I must get some more practice in with the new eye hud that Damien has created.  If only I had more time.

Shirt

Sorry no time to do any new ones but make sure if you can to get over ASP as this is just a 1 week sale and it’s probably half way over in anycase.

Teaser.

So little time so much to wear.  Faith was so busy setting up her new Scarlet Creative home she completely ignored me so I took this opportunity to take a quick snap  of one of the new Spring collection items from FATEwear.  It’s just the shorts that come from the new collection but the shirt, called Edward, is of course one of Damien’s classics.  The shorts are called Gus and are in the main entrance along with the rest of the new collection.  I couldn’t help but think that the Void colour would suit the shirt to make a casual office look but there are much more colour options from this dark grey to pink and all the shades in between.  The one thing I did notice when I spend time trying so much on is how well you can mix and match ALL of his range so when I’m next inworld I’ll definately be brightening up my look and showing you more of his excellent texturing and styling.

Popping back in because I forgot to mention that these shorts come with a belt as well which is a small and yet important detail because it just finishes off the look makes the shorts go from plain shorts to stylish shorts..back to RL now but remember Demos for everything so worth spending some time trying them all on.

Unmissable.

FATESALE

I’ve only just heard about this fat discount sale so I’m literally just going to rehash an old photo and then as soon as I can get inworld I’ll be over there like a shot for that Dr Who outfit I’ve been wanting for ages.

Although I don’t think FATEwear is overpriced especially when when you see not only the quality of the texturing but also the fit and a lot of his packs contain so many layers and options to mix and match your outfit I think his stuff is a bargain but even more so with this 50% discount.  So for all of you who have been waiting you have until the 10th to pop over and grab some goodies.

Early Bird.

Hat11Sadly it’s too early to use my Mistletoe but I finally found a beanie good enough to make me pull my finger out of my lazy ass and edit a hair to fit a beanie.

Hat222As you can see in this picture the fit is close to the head so you don’t get that “helmet” look.  You get a resizer version as well as the standard fit so you got a  big head NP you got pin head NP. Hat and snood are one purchase (150Lds for both) but each comes with its own 8 colour hud which means you can either make them match or have them 2 different colours.

SF Designs still caters mainly for the non mesh market but doesn’t lack in quality and styling for it and of course not everyone wants or can use Mesh, however swaffette Firefly is now creating her own mesh and this beanie and snood are prime examples of it and if you want to see more of her Mesh items then look higher on the walls.  This hat/snood set is in the main entrance but the other mesh items are higher on the walls with also hats and hair and other items.

There is what looks like a matching pair of gloves to go with the hat/snood but that’s a group gift. Not free to join (100Lds) but this is a group that doesn’t forget to put out monthly group gifts so you certainly get you’re moneys worth for it.

Tell no lie.

As I said as soon as I rezzed inworld right in the middle of FATEware and right in the middle of the sale I started to buy.

suitYou really need to try the demos to see what it is you get because some of the packs not only come with all the sizes as standard but so many layering options it’s really hard to describe (at 9.20AM and full of cold that is).

long coatThis long ..duster style coat is a prime example because you can wear it on it’s own or as in this case with the shirt and tie inc in the pack.

Gloves

OK I stuck to the more safer colours of greys and browns but there is a range of colours to chose from.  Sorry I would try to take a better photo of the gloves and would have loved to have taken one of the socks but RL time restraints means I haven’t had the time and the time on this sale is running out.  If you like the idea of SLinks hands but don’t like the expense or the skin matching then these gloves are perfect.  Again I picked a safe shade but there is not only a variety of shades but also some more “wintery knitted” style ones.  The icing on the cake is you get a whole load of hand poses from casual to holding and the price is slashed to 150Lds.  So good Zan is comming in to try out the demo and see if the XS size will look good on her.  It’s the same with the socks they come with feet shapes in them and of course plain for wearing with non SLink or any mesh shoe.  Winter, bedsocks also available.ShirtLast photo before I take myself back to bed (I haz a cold) but I wanted to show off the slim line look.  Obviously the bulked up shoulders and “manly” chest are big in SL but so is the more natural look which is one I prefer.

Sale is in full swing but the clock is ticking.

All Tied Up in a Neat Bow

Now that I’ve got my new RL home set up (well, kinda anyway) I can return here finally to show you some of the new additions you can pick up for your awesome Kauna two-piece suit.

As you can see above you can now grab the mesh ties in funky, colourful new striped versions plus matching handkerchiefs for the breast pocket of the suit jacket, adding a bit of cool style to your look.

As you can see, with the bright new colours along with a polka dot pattern, you can easily liven up this classic grey suit with white shirt and bow tie combination. There are a huge range of colours for the ties, bow ties and handkerchiefs and both come in the striped and polka dot patterns as well as plain. The mesh also comes in three different sizes so you should have no trouble finding one that fits.

So, as the options keep building for this amazing suit, you should definitely head down on Kauna today and see what combinations you can come up with for yourself and have fun experimenting!

Fit as a Fiddle

Every week swaffette Firefly seems to outdo herself with her Monday Mania release. This week it’s the SF Design ‘fitted shirt with colour change tie’ that you can pick up for just L$25.

This shirt is a great example of wonderful simplicity. With the exception of the tie/collar, there are no prims to fiddle with, you just choose the layer you want to wear this with (it comes on multiple ones), put on the tie and you’re off and looking great in no time at all. Basic black always works and there are some nice subtle little shadings with this top as well. The collar and tie come with a resizer script and there are nine different colour options to choose from for the tie as well and each one of them are brilliant. I’ve got to say that I’m liking the tie and short sleeves look a lot.

So that’s  your Monday Mania item from SF Design for this week and one you should definitely not miss. As always, you can pick this up for the special price from the board located just inside the casual men’s section.
