Renting a home in Second life – Its all Sunshineacid

Rental Home 250L per week Furnished (plus a few prims)

Its been a few weeks since my last exploration of the rental home market, and as I was feeling particularly lazy I looked for furnished accommodation. Look what I found ! Actually I found this same home in a different location but it had just been rented so I lucked out – or so I thought. Luckily for me the owner contacted me and offered to put up an identical home . I know what work that is, even for a small home – but it was done in an hour and I was ready to rock up and enjoy my new place. I cant believe this build by Trompe Loeil – “Shipping Crate Studio Wood” passed me by, it’s totally lovely and cozy. So, the deal is $350L per week, with 25 prims FULLY furnished. I was pleased with the level of decor, infact I went straight out and bought the sweet bed by tarte for myself after sampling its delights. The whole sim is gorgeously decorated, I didn’t feel out of place mooching about. Theres bridges to pause by and some really terrific trees and landscaping. If you’re into photography its a great place to be.

Rental Home 250L per week Bedroom

Here is my bedroom, ever so snuggly and peaceful, the aforementioned bed (comes in a blue pattern also) and various posters and drapes add a delicious shabby ambience . There are heaps of other homes for rent, bigger and around the $500L per week mark. However, this one suited me and my budget down to the ground. You land in a small office that displays the homes up for grabs, just touch the picture of the one you’re interested in and it will plonk a landmark in your inventory to go visit – simple. If you like it, pay the rent box and contact Claire Bricklin for a group tag. (Theres a few other names listed on the notecard you get after renting to get a group tag also)

Lounger in the main space , apologies about the fuzziness on the pillows, SL was hating on me when I took the photo ! I’ve visited at various times of day and night, and it always seems to be running perfectly with no Lag and quiet neighbours. Customer Service is BRILLIANT, I couldn’t ask for more help and I was made to feel at home, really lovely.

Inspiration point hunt free gifts - liason garden items - iren skin

Zan was spot on when she reported about the hunt going on at Inspiration Point – what a doozy. I trudged over there and grabbed up a load of goodies for free. My cropped sweater is the gift from The Secret Store and the snood is a gift from Tee*fy, really look lovely together no? Wriggled into my coldLogic “knight” leggings, these really are handy girls – treat yourself to a quantum pack and you’ll never have to shop for leggings again – promise ! My adorable pose is by Le poppycock, they have a gacha machine dispensing various ones at this round of The Liason Collaborative, so sweet and so effective. I had a few goes – can’t stop once you start! The neato thing is, you not only get the animation for the pose, but also the prop (in this case the deer) and also a snow emitter.

Once I was in full-on gacha mode I had a few pulls here and there, won this gorgeous chair by one of my new favourite designers {anc}, the sit animations in it are plentiful and sweet, low prim too. I also managed to win a rare little Christmas tree yay! This is by tarte and I seem to recall it was only 25L .
