Its Fab(oo) & Free!

As most of you know I rented a little lighthouse on the Style Central sim – and its working out brilliantly for taking photos. I made a little spot beside my home for lazing about on and decided to show you a couple of items I picked up from Faboo (a shop on the sim) for FREE! There are quite a few group gifts on offer, I plumped for these gorgy sandals “Oahu”- they have a Hud for the wedge texture and also this sweet wrap around bikini “Puerto Rico” that also has a Hud with various texture for the outfit. Heaps of mesh body and traditional layer fits for the bikini btw plus Omega.

I seem to recall the group was free to join – or at least it was during the recent hunt we blogged.

Summer Florals

Oh La La Luxe Paris have some new summer additions! I’m wearing the Fragrant Skirt and Top in the Slink Physique size – absolutely perfect fit. Mesh boy and standard fits in the box , something for everyone I’m pleased to report. Beautiful detailing around the waist, with a nude leather belt through loops that is super pretty. The skirt is a little retro with its “Ra-Ra” layers, so adorable for the summer. I also picked up a fantastic pair of sandals to co-ordinate with this outfit from Faboo. Just $100L per colour !

Renting a home in Second Life

When Zan said to come over and check this rental sim out I was there in a flash. Not often we see something that so awesome we call each other to see it! So I was sunk about 3 minutes later and had rented the lighthouse above. Yes, we do have our own sim but I often rent places out to blog or just because I really adore the surroundings – this worked on both counts. $400L a week, 200 prims and a sim of gorgeous locations to take photos – whats not to love!

Got busy rezzing out my gear from Dench Designs – love this picnic table and planty type bits and it didn’t make much of a dent in my prim allowance.

This is the central roundabout, so pretty and plenty of places to park your arse and enjoy the view.

When Zan said it had “so many different types of home” to rent she wasnt kidding. Anything from a Lighthouse, a motel, brownstones, cozy little bungalows and more. They all seem to be $400L a week. I didn’t get a group join when I rented but I was able to place my gear. I sent a message to the owner and a few hours later the group tag arrived. I’ve put the rental office landmark below, although I didn’t see a way to teleport to the homes (?) I just walked about and found what I wanted.
