Love a good hunt – pretty rubbish at them but this time I was almost tripping over the prizes ! Over 30 Designers have come together to bring you an amazing hunt all in one location. You are searching for a rotten egg. So mooch around and you’re sure to come across a few – or more. I was specifically wanting to find the Sakide ones – and I did yippee! The eggs are priced from $1L -$15L – although most seemed to be priced at $5L – so my little outfit above cost $5L in total – brilliant !
Whilst I was at Sakide, I noticed some “camp for gifts” chairs – I haven’t seen those for like everrrr! The prizes looked so cool I HAD to do it. Now its my “guilty secret”, it’s so relaxing sitting, going through my inventory and also keeping an eye on the lucky boards right in front of you. Above is my lucky board win – the “Vylena” dress, you get this in black and white – both have clean & bloody versions inc. Brilliant for the season and also afterwards.! Standard mesh sizes – the small fitted over my Slink Physique mesh body perfectly.
This was my camping prize “Adele” which comes with a Hud giving you further options on pattern. They are separates so you can split them up to mix & match. Standard av sizes – and again the small fitted me. I was keeping a beady eye on the lucky chairs and also watching the gifts on the camping chairs change – had my eye on some boots but dammm they changed before I could get my butt on the seat! You’ll find the boards and camp chairs in the gazebo thats in the central area (not inside the store).
Haven’t been to Sakide in oh-so-long, popped over and wham – group gift ! (The group is free to join btw.) This is the “Romantic Fall Sweater” and you get SIX scrummy colours. Fits are included for all the major mesh bodies no standard av sizes though. Totally adorable and a real keeper for moi. The gift can be found in the gazebo type area outside of the store.
I couldn’t sleep, so decided to log into SL and mooch for a while. Happily I found a way to pass a couple of hours! “Nowhere the last place you want to go” is a game and a hunt all wrapped into one. There is a small $50L fee for the Hud – which amounts to a few real life pennies – but I thought in comparison to some of those other games that charge upwards of $250L, it was great value. The game is fun, and quite easy really, when you land at the starting point information on how to play is readily available. Get your Hud and off you go! I found a LOT of prizes, everything from full outfits (as above) from Sakide, to skins,eyes & decor – SO worth doing!
Im not really one for ghoulish attire but I liked this applier for the skeleton head. Another outfit from Sakide plus a nifty knife leg holster. Took me about 1.5 hours to complete, but as I wasn’t feeling 100% I probably missed a lot of gifts and game play.
I have some more summer lovelies to share with you, Circa have gone all out at this months Flux “Americana” event with some lawn chairs, a flop pool and sparklers! The chairs are just brill, good poses for sitting,chatting and eating (you get wearables for the eat & drinking poses), love love LOVE the little pot of sparklers, touch it and it dispenses one for you to wave around ! As always super detail on everything, you can always rely on Circa for top notch quality. Drop by and check out the pool and drink chiller, more colours at the main store ! My outfit was a gift I found by accident last night. Zan and I were doing the latest MadPea hunt, which is terrrrific, and as we were looking for a clue in SAKIDE, I saw this little object…so I snapped it up and holygramoly it was only this lovely little outfit. Mesh capris, pair of flat pumps and a tie mesh shirt, whats more you get TWO colours! Pink and a light green…its the Excuse my French hunt prize, check on the hunt board outside the main entrance for info.
I’m finally back and able to feel up to blogging hurrah! So on with the show and let’s get the ball rolling with The Buddy Walk event. If you’re not familiar with this event here’s a little snippet from the press release:
“The SL Buddy Walk was created to celebrate the World Down Syndrome Day in Second Life. Many of your favorite SL entertainers and store brands will be taking part to promote and raise money for Down Syndrome awareness. The Buddy Walk® was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.All donations collected from this event are given directly to the NDSS. They will be used for supporting the National Down Syndrome Society’s education, research and advocacy efforts on behalf of the more than 400,000 individuals with Down Syndrome in the United States.”
There are a ton of great designers all supporting this, such as Sakide who’s frock I am wearing above, close up is to show the absolootly stunning necklace which is also on offer by Designs By Sebastian. My skin is another Buddy Walk item, its by Amacci and is called Emma. I chose to wear the pale version which is so very pretty and delicate, but there are darker options available. My hair is by a newwww designer called {Quandry}, this style is Nancy, I really like it. Sweet natural styling. Infact I liked it SO much I tried to find their store to grab a few demos etc..but at the moment it looks like there isnt, fingers crossed for more from them !
It’s not only clothing, you’ll find a load of decor items for your homes & garden, including one of my fav designers Cleom Bailey. This is one of her offerings for The Buddy Walk, big old comfy chair with an array of poses, footstool and table…theres also some couply snuggles in it awww ! The pantssuit I have on is by Leri Miles Designs, funky huh?! Squillions of colours in this so go take a peek and grab one up. I headed over to take a look around, it’s a lovely spacious area to meander through and not too busy either. I’ve got oooodles more to show you so watch this space !
If I didn’t see you at the opening partay yesterday….booooooooo! You missed a whole heapa fun…good news is there is more LIVE entertainment today hooohaaaah! (check the schedule on my first unhinged post below or look at their blog page for more info) Got a couple more items to show you from the shopping fandango…and ooooodles more to come in the next few days – this event lasts for a month , so PLENTY of time to feed those gatcha machines, ohhhhh also…dont forget you can trade your gatcha items with friends (or if you’re really lovely give them as gifts) Anyyyyhooooo above I’m wearing one of those divine SAKIDE skull dress in blue, which happened to match up so well with my fabbo Candybytes Boleyn Boots ! Theres squooodles of colours of these boots in the gatcha machine and SO reasonably priced you will be sure to want a few…day & night colours…I was Zans best mate for five seconds when I gave her a pair I had duplicated !
Geometry have these tops out for the event also “Eku tank”, millions of colours to choose from, you can also wear it as a cropped style…two tops in one, love that !
They also have this sooper sweet little mesh apron style frock up for grabs, it has a real fresh and country design…absolutely loads of colours to gawp at ! (feeling a little like Scarlet O’Hara in this shot lol)
Last up for this morning is this terrific mesh dress from {MV} The Jolly Roger dress and matching boots…nifty plaid pattern and a large range of tones…tiny teeny skull motif’s on both, torn fishnets complete the look…
zoooom in on my delish necklace, it’s very detailed and I just want to wear it alllla-the-time! By H0R…they have a few other items out for sale too…but this one…its totally fabulous…and I adore it. I will trickle feed more from unhinged over the coming days…stay tuned and get shopping!
