The World Tour Hunt has begun – might be the closest we all get to a vacation this year! Really got a kick out of this flight attendant outfit from Ari-Pari, you get the skirt, vest, shirt and tie – the tie even has a colour Hud! Each prize is $3L and I will link the “path” of gifts below – you can do the hunt as planned out for you OR be a rebel like me and do which stores you want . I guess you might miss out on a new-to-you store that way but heyho.
As soon as I saw this Belle Epoque Saturday offer I knew I was going to buy it and the only reason I regret it is that I know I will rarely get to wear it.
If you follow the link to the seraphim blog then you can see pictures of this dress in the different colours you can buy and you will also see a mens matching suit. So if you have an SL partner/friend who likes to swan around like a Duke/Dutchess then drag them over as well.
It comes in the usual Maitreya fit and I’m 99% sure also a Legacy fit, what I do know is it was a pretty great fit for my SLink but of course always try the demo out for yourself. The hat isn’t in the demo but it is included and it’s editable.
PS. Just spotted that this looks like a collab between Belle Epoque and Harshlands. I know Harshlands which is more of a landscaping/decor shop and it’s worth a check out if you have some land to landscape.

I’d only just started my trawling of the We ❤ Role-Play event so I don’t know if there are any freebies but I suspect there are on each or most stands a very low priced items you can purchase which in this case wasn’t this dress.
I’ve gone to one of my fav sims, it represents Yorkshire which is a part of the UK that I love to take the picture. Sorry, I can’t remember the exact price I paid for the dress or even the hat but I think it was about 280Lds for the dress and the hat is one of the token priced gifts so it was only 10Lds.
I was just going to buy the hat and scurry away from temptation but damnit I just had to grab the demo as well and I had to buy it then and there because not only do on you get a stunning gown for both roleplaying or swanning around SL like Lady Muck it comes as SEPARATES!
I’ve not had the chance to try out the jacket, blouse and skirt with other items from my invent but I don’t think it will be hard to find other items to mix and match with it.
I chose the “Garnet” option but there are other colour choices, Maitreya only but as you can see from the design there should be no issues with fitting it and TRY the demo first just to make sure.

PS. As mentioned the hat is only 10Lds and you get the matching colour band to go with all of the gowns.

I always like to make it clear upfront that this first item is NOT the freebie and now let the rambling start….
SL is like RL, in that in RL I am a bargain hunter, the reduced food section in the supermarket, charity shops, Poundland and I eBay like a B*tch. My scrimping knows no bounds and I’ve even been checking our Aliexpress for fun and cheap stuff…yes that is an actual web site.
But I save to spend and that applies to my SL life. So when I saw there is a sale on at the Maison de Montgelas (MdM) shop I think, my cold cheap heart skipped a beat.
OK at just under 350Lds for this dress, not exactly cheap but when you see the fit, quality, design, texture and on and on it’s worth it. I spent forever trying the demos on but in the end only bought this one as it looks like there is going to be not just a new shop but new stock and I can’t wait to see any new items.
This dress is actually one of the more understated dresses You get two versions of it, this one where the jacket and overskirt at the back are a light green. There is a lovely sash belt as well with a big bow. The second version has the jacket and overskirt all the same cream shade but the sash belt remains coloured. You only get a Maitreya fits but as you can see I had no issues. Again there are demos for you to try on and many other designs.
But even if you’re on a zero budget I will reblog this excellent free group gift for you in case you’ve not seen it before..

The hats were another couple of things I treated myself to as they were just 120Lds. Unlike the dresses, you don’t get demos for the hats but they are editable to a certain degree. I am lucky in that I have the perfect hat/hair which is designed just for this style. I will do a post about that next because although that is not a freebie I think some things are just worth paying for and if you want to swan around SL like a lady then you simply have to invest.
PS. Forgot to mention that there is also a big selection of period costumes for men, they haven’t compromised on the cut, design, texturing etc for those either.
Had a lot of fun taking this photo – great prop and pose by Le Poppycock for a feature film action hero shot! Neve have a new release at the WeDoSL Black Fair – and it’s SO COOL! This is the Prohibit Jacket and Bootlegger Pant set. The Prohibit Jacket can be worn with or without the skirt section and the Bootlegger Pants are a combination of well fitted legging and heels. YES, that’s right – leggings with boots attached *faint* – why have I not got this in my real life *shakes fist*.
so many ways to wear this set, you can do the full Monty of assassin – or go completely the other end of the spectrum by using the leather off function and using the sweetest colours. Autumn is a great time to drag out all those soft buttery browns and taupe shades !
Of course – it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t show the outfit in PINK would it ❤ Really, it’s so flexible the skirt part of the jacket can even be made sheer , which gives it such a feminine look – you’d never guess it was the same outfit ! Hats off to you Neve team – FANTASTIC STUFF!!
