Creations Park Spring Hunt

Popped over to Creations Park this morning to take a gander at their Spring Hunt. Each “gift” is $20L – not really a gift BUT all monies raised go towards Parkinsons Research via Team Fox – love it ! Above is the outfit from Prism, pants and a cute fox cropped shirt – a myriad of sizes included in both pieces.

I also snapped up this little beauty from Evergreen . A fox waiting to gobble up the cookies ! Texture change for the fox and stump, options for the fox’s movements too. 8 Li. Touch the notice board when you arrive for all the landmarks to participating stores PLUS a few extra things to find.

Fall Fox Hunt

Spent a happy hour wandering around “Swing Town” finding a few hunt items to show you. Its a lovely place to explore and great for photos . Each item is $20L , some stores have a sign to show what the gift is (thank you!) and some don’t. Above is the dress from Prism, really liked this soft knitted look and gorgeous Autumnal tone – all mesh bodies catered for.

Then just out of curiosity I picked up this men’s suit from K&F – isn’t it beautiful? Two pieces and mesh body and fitmesh sizes – I just couldn’t get away with wearing so had to show it like this.

Kastle Rock Couture’s item had a women’s dress (Very lovely) and this men’s bath robe – I WANTED it ! I think I just got away with it in the xs size – standard mesh sizes included. I’m going to slump around in it until lunch time its super snuggly. You’re looking for a little fox with a leaf in its mouth, most stores on the sim seem to be participating, if you touch one of the hunt signs it will give you a notecard listing them all with their landmarks. Strut Your Stuff Hunt – Free

Amidst the packing for holiday I had to grab a couple of items to show you from the Strut Your Stuff hunt! This sweet pigeon on a stump is animated and head bobs, dead cute, just 3Li and is from Storax Tree – easy to find as you can collect it at the landing point!

I haven’t had anything from Prism in years but WOW spotted this dress in the hunt and knew it was for moi! You get two versions in the gift, this one with the sheer top and a more modest one that isn’t. A whole host of fits included. Strut Your Stuff Hunt

I’m out of Prism.(Freebie).

Just what I was looking for.

It turns out my hair and makeup and even the shoes, although you can’t see them, from my previous picture still go with this more sedate look. This dress also comes in just the standard mesh fits and I have to say that although it has that “rounded shoulder” look to it to me this is more by design than just the use of a more basic template.

I had actually spent some time putting a few accessories with this outfit to make a complete look, ie a handbag, bow on the crown of my hair, pearls and then I lost interest in accessorising because I have so little patience to find just the right items so I gave up but I think you can see that add a little hand/clutch bag, a few pearls and although I don’t own a suitable hat for this a nice prim n proper hat and you have a ladylike look for NOTHING! cos that’s how much it costs to join the Prism group.

Getting Hangry.(Dollarbie).

ARGH, I’ve been wandering around and around and around the Prism shop trying to find the Group gifts esp since I’ve seen a picture of their November gift but for the life of me I couldn’t find hide nor hair of anything, except a lowly little pumpkin.

So I bought it for a single Linden, not really expecting much but Woah! SCORE!  A zinger of a metallic dress in all standard mesh fits.

WTF! There will be an update later because Woo Hoo I’ve found it.  I always log back inworld to LM grab and this always makes less chance of an error but I can only assume that on my previous visit, not everything had rezzed because right there over the reception desk on the wall is the GG!  I quickly snagged it and put it on but it deserves a post all of its own so that will be coming up soon but of course, nothing to stop you from grabbing this and it.

OK, so when you TP over you land outside of the Prism shop and you need to go into the door on your left not the one ahead of you.   Again the GG’s is on the wall above the reception desk but on the far wall behind the reception desk on the floor is the pumpkin.

PS. The pumpkin is a Phycho Pumpkin Hunt Gift prize.

SL Vs RL(Freebie).

You’re going to see this quality freebie on all of the blogs both the ones that blog paid for items or freebies as this is quality enough for both sorts of blogs.

Can I firstly say that I am NOT blinking in this picture, this time, I just look as though I am, honest lol.  OK I’ve had such a busy Tuesday I’ve not even managed to log in to today so these were taken yesterday and I’m working from memory.  All standard sizes and I’m not sure if there is any mesh bod fits and there certainly isn’t a SLink Physique one because that’s what I’m wearing but I have to say that it turned out to be a great fit even on my mesh bod.  Super colours as well.

I’m off to see The Wizard (Freebie n Hunt).

How many of us would love to be paid to SL?  Yup me too but sadly I work hard for my money but I’ve left my AV standing on the  on the Magic of Oz sim waiting for when I can get back inworld and I can continue to collect eggies.

But first the Freebie which you don’t even have to bother to hunt down.

The dress is from Prism and is a St Patrick’s day pressie.  A rough hessian textured dress with the pretty floral bands and even though this is a St Patrick’s day gift its wearable any time of the year.

Now for the Hunt.  When you rezz on the sim the first thing you do is snag a basket, big sign for you to click, and you must wear this basket to collect the eggs.  Lots of little eggs scattered around this fantasy themed “yellow brick road” sim and as you saunter around picking up the eggs you will come across little surprises such as skully here.

Some of the old classics are still there but I spotted some new places for you to explore.

Although word of caution because I was tempted by this mine entrance and it is really an interesting place to explore and it leads you down into temptation because at the end of the tunnel is a market.

A market of  “breedable’s”, breedables of any sort has never been a thing to me I can just about remember to feed “Fred” my donkey and he only needs feeding once a month so no matter how cute or even how valuables some of these breedables can be it’s not my thing but if you are then there are stalls of the little critters just waiting to be taken home with you and I even saw an auction market space so if you want to buy and sell I couldn’t imagine a nicer place to do it.

So I backtracked my way to the Yellow Brick Road and safer ground.

OK this is such an easy hunt to do but a few simple rules and although I’ve only started it and I’m going by memory I’m pretty sure it’s not changed.  So you must wear the basket and every egg you see click the egg which magically disappears and reappears into your basket if you get too grabby like me then you will break the eggs so basically you have to give it 30secs before you grab another and they’re everywhere.  So easy to spot and since you don’t need to grab specific eggs each 6 random ones win you a prize.

Once you’ve collected 6 eggs you get sent a message/menu and from that you can choose the shop you want to claim your prize from and then you’re sent a “stack of eggs” and you can just continue on with the hunt or go grab your gift straight away.  6 eggs =1 gift and since I want them all it’s going to be a pleasant hour in SL just sauntering and enjoying.

So once you’ve collected all of the “stacks of eggs” you want for the prizes you want then make your way to “Munchkinland” which is a pretty little town centre with lots of little shops to tempt you.  Inside each shop is the same sort of basket that you’ve been collecting your eggs in so simply wear/add the matching stack of eggs that you have been sent and stand close to the basket and click the eggs on your head and you get sent the prize.  Pretty simple, enough things for you to do to make it interesting but easy even for a dork like me to do but if I’ve not made it clear then check out the link for the Blogg, last link given, and it’s explained pretty clearly there.
