I was doing something I like to do when I’m feeling uninspired and did a bit of map hopping.  I bumped into this in the sky just above some abandoned land took a quick snapped and flew off and not far away from it I found this.

This is now mine as of course I grabbed the info and TPed straight over to inVerse who are the creators of this platform.  As soon as I landed her I of course remember this place well as I and Faith have spent ages here checking out the all houses, sky homes, landscaping etc this place has to offer.  Such a variety of styles here it’s hard to just look at one or two builds you end up just checking out so many of the homes it’s addictive.    Fortunately they have plenty of demo rezzers set out so you never feel harrased that you’re taking too much time up looking at all the builds

Thats me jumping in the middle.  This is a basic platform for either a home or in my case my new work space.  As you can see it’s big enough for most builds it does have a resizer option in the menu however I didn’t bother checking that out as I’m pretty sure you’ll only be able to alter the size to a certain extent and this size is perfect.  You also get 5 different textures 3 very similar to this one and 2 in the white, snowier moonish colour.  Not a vast difference in the texturing but it does make a perfect base for landscaping and at a lowly 4 prims plenty of scope to landscape it.

TBH there is no reason why this should just be used in the sky, placed on the land it will offer you a certain amount of privacy from neighbours.

When you TP to inVerse you rezz in the landing area just click the TP board to one of the demo areas.  You can’t actually buy from the rezzer but just near to the demo rezzers is a vast wall of the homes and you buy them from there.  This platform and a more grassier version are in ……..what the heck here is a piccie to show you where they are, bottom right corner.  As you can see there is a more grassy version as well.

I’ve popped the LM for a place to purchase a grassy sky dome that both Faith and I have and use because of it’s amazing sky texturing and it’s so affordable price tag of 149Lds and of course you can use that or any dome you may have to place over your platform to make it feel more enclosed and atmospheric.

I did a lovely Dollarbie house from Harmoni (still available) but I had also noticed that xMIKEx Static also has some great looking skydomes in their Marketplace shop and being a sucker for an easy to use backdrop/scene setting/workbox etc I decided to splash some cash and get one.  This is Grass Bubble one but there is a sandy one or still hankering for snow then a snow setting one.  I’m so impressed with this I’m trying to resist getting the others.

Sometimes when I see a home on the land and the surrounding area is horrible I always wonder why they don’t rezz themselves a skydome just like this and place their homes in there.  A perfect little setting.  This one comes with a certain amount of plants and rocks but the whole thing is editable so you can add and remove to your heart’s content.  You can even mod the texturing but I’ve not tried that yet however since this is copy then even if, when, I screw it up I’ve still got my original copy.  Comes with 7 (I think because I’ve forgotten) skies textures but no land ones.  This sky setting is by far my fav but it has a couple of night settings, sunset, sunrise, weird etc  I’ve taken all the pictures in the same Nams optimal Skin and Prim settings (Touche eclait for SL).

Costs 249 and although you can’t see it in an in world shop if you want to check it out then pop over to our sim, the LM given will take you to the cafe automatically but you can either TP again or simply fly up to my skyplatform to check it out.

Then I popped over to the Garden Gacha event and won a RARE!!! and a bunnie pose and some handy suitcase.  Will confess I had my fingers crossed when I played the Eternal Dream Cacha (50Lds) because I wanted this pose which comes with the bunny and carrot fishing rod so when I won it (it’s not the rare one) I was very pleased.

Wasn’t bothered winning the rare one of these either because ALL of these cute suitcases look cute, not saying the rare one wouldn’t have been nice but more than happy with this (70Lds a play).

This is the rare item. Comes from the rojo Gacha and at 50Lds a play I played it a few times and won this a lam, coffee table set and curtains all matching to make a lovely outdoor setting.

I zoomed back not even as far as I could to give you a better idea of the sky dome which is  75x75x75 in size.  Perfect for a big or small house but you may want to check out the foot print first.  As I’ve said if you want to check this out inworld then TP to our sim and then fly or tp again.

Crash!!!

Sometimes when you TP and you then find yourself falling through the sky because the shop or place you were visiting has gone you can sometimes come up with some hidden treasures in the sky.

This is what I crashed into or rather something identical that someone has rezzed in the sky and they have placed their home out on it and it looked so stunning.  I clicked got the seller of the land and followed the link to the Marketplace and a bigger wow was that ALL of this is on sale at a promo price of just 20Lds.

Since I am an avid Windlight user I took this second photo because if you look closely you can just about make out little old me standing on my platform.

Garden is rezzed as shown in photo, through a rezzing system. Entire rezzed garden is only 64 prims, however nothing in your garden is linked and all items are modifiable and copyable. Therefor you can delete, move, size, copy any items you like to customize your garden to fit your land/space/prims available. Most items are 1 prim each, some are 2-5 prims, ultra low prim!!

I was so pleased with all this stuff I’ve literally just bought it rezzed it and logged out so I can blog it.  I can’t use much at the moment because we have turned our whole sim into a white winter wonderland so all these very Autumnal colours wouldn’t work too well at the moment but I can’t wait to log back in and check out the colour changing pathway and tree’s to see if there is some Winter texturing in there.

Check out Zhoie Zimermann’s MP shop because she has some other freebies inc white washed pumpkins which will make great winter, Christmas decorations (yes I forgot to take the photo of it).  Zen Creations strikes a bell with me so when I’m next in world I will have to pop over and see if it’s the place I’m thinking of and if it is then there will be an update.

Update, this isn’t the shop I thought it was but it’s lovely sleek large shop with everything on the walls for you to see and in the rezzer for you to try out.
