I’m in Love With This <3

I checked my inventory before I parted with my cash – and yes, I have a huge amount of pianos already. However, this just stole my heart. Not only is it just 1Li but it is stuffed with the most glorious piano music, mostly classic (my favourite) but also a couple of more modern pieces. This grand piano comes in white, as above, but also black. I just cant fault it, none of that annoying flicker you see on some 1Li items, just beautifully made – Perfect. I had to splash a bit of cash to own it £500L to be exact, but gosh its so worth it. It comes with a superb piano playing animation for both male & females plus a couple of sitting/relaxing poses for each.

Fantasy Fair 2022 – playable instruments!

Forgive me for fooling around with photo editing but I really wanted this piece to POP ! This is the “Giraffe Harp Piano” and its a collaboration by Ever Green and Meriadne Merlin who owns House of Byzantine. Its absolutely one of the best instruments I’ve ever had the pleasure to play in Second Life. Bento animations for the player and also a second person can join in, sway, stand & listen, applaud. Naturally it has texture changes on almost every part, including the keys, the sheet music and stool. You can go from a really classic black to a metal style front panel – many choices of wood textures! Shabby textures and pristine for the cushion on the stool in the menu too . This item is in the Biedermeier style circa 1850 with unique music from Mozart and Clementi – superb music !

Now something entirely different! This is the “Trigintaphonium” yes that’s right ! I’ve never heard of this instrument but its a lot of fun. Texture change for the pipes (there are 30) and it plays four unique musical scores OR you can choose to thump away on the pipes freestyle! In this texture I think its really suited to a jungle or beach setting, the other textures would blend in well pretty much anywhere.

Ages ago

It was my birthday in October and as usual I was thoroughly spoilt by Player. Amongst the glittery jewels and pretty clothes and shoes – was this piano. Now I have quite a few pianos in Second Life – in fact I could prolly open a piano store ! I’m always looking at them, and most importantly the MUSIC they play. To me there’s not much sense in a piano – no matter how beautiful or low prim – if the music isn’t PIANO music? As a pianist myself (I admit a really bad one!) the instrument isn’t beautiful unless the sounds are. So many pianos in second life don’t actually play piano music – yes really!

Sooo when I opened this beauty up, cracked my knuckles and sat to play, I felt pretty tearful when the sounds came out. Piano pieces, loud and clear and so many to choose from. The playing animation is perfect also. This Baby Grand is a delight but wait – there’s more to it than that !  A total of 10Li for the piano and play book BTW.

Love it when one of our readers finds something and shares – and this is a real gem – absolutely stunning vintage piano that’s been left in a garden. The flowers, weeds, and moss have completely overgrown it and left it to become part of nature – there’s even a stream running across the keys. You can find this in the Love market place store for just $1L – I did pop over to the inworld shop but couldn’t spot it there. This is a LIMITED offer so dash!

I know we all find it hard to keep a spare slot free for a new group these days…but there are some you really do need to be in. Especially if you’re a decor freak like  moi! [CIRA] have a superb VIP gifty at the moment, it’s the Sound City Studio pictured above…such a lovely build..stylishly coloured with violet accents on the walls and frontage…only 47 prims !

If you’re super fast you might also be able to find the light as a feather deco set that compliments the Sound City Studio..in the pack is this trio of vases…

Also this gorgeous feather surrounded mirror, which is also colour change. (Literally a squillion colours too)

Andddd…the matching feather edged light pendant as above…(also colour change)….The Four walls hunt ends today…so speed over and see if you can rustle it up…btw…if youre into pianos as Iam..the one I’m sat at is by prim possible…YES, it’s just one solitary prim, it isn’t temp rezzed…and it costs just one linden dollar ! It plays just one tune, the more expensive models from this store play heaps..but as a decor item that wont break your prim bank…its a winner no?

Cleo Design has shared their items for the Vintage Fair with me…I played around with these for hours ! I adore this retro set…especially the basket weave chairs ….they have colour change…so can look funktastic in your home no matter what ! The record player has such a sweet song in it…go give it a whirl…(gawd is it ageing me that I recognise the clock? My nana had one exactly the same lol)

Another collection that’s out for this event..is “auntys sofa set”…you get all that you see here..sofa,table,decor items, lamp, rug & framed print. Now the really interesting thing is..the sofa holds a secret! mhmm…not only does it have colour change options…(on all parts not just the whole thing yay!) if you choose the “lay” poses that L-shaped end piece slidessssss out…and then when you want to sit…it slidessssss back in…how coolbeans is that! Have to say…you’ll be really impressed with the animations in this…there are just SO many..even exercises ohlala…

I think one of the reasons I admire Cleo Design’s handywork so much..is her knack of putting together a collection of pieces that light up a space…take this set above “piano corner”…pretty and functional….and will make a corner or side area of a room just full of character. The piano is crammed with music..seriously check it..loads of songs, it plays beautifully and has the animations for you to lounge or play….absolutly adore the old fashioned chair…as  is usual with Cleo designs sets..you can use as much or as little of each set as you wish..it isnt hard linked…so depending on your prim budget…use what you want. Low on prims?

Wherever I have called Home in second life, I have always had a piano. Even when prims were in short supply and circa 2007 pianos were really a luxury item, pricey & primmy , double whammy. Nowadays they are a lot cheaper and lower prim…today I found the ultimate, a WEARABLE  piano & stool. Not only that but it’s also FREE …mmhmm…the best of all worlds. You get a choice of white,yellow,red (shown above) and a grey…there is a HUD to wear for the piano that lets you choose your playing animation and also a choice of nine classical pieces. I have to say the sound tone is just perfect, clear and plays beautifully…just wear the stool and then add/wear the piano, et voila! Attach the HUD and your good to go…thanks Satoko ! There are a few luckyboards in the store also for guitars and a drum set – give it a whirl…when you land you’re looking for a small pink pig on the floor
