I have SO many poses in my inventory but I tend to use the same ones over and over again. I took a gander on the market place and found a ton of dollarbie packs of poses ! I have a Hud from years ago that I use to drop poses in – snap & go so simple. I did also find quite a few cheap Huds on the market place that you could utilise – I cant bear clogging up my inventory with packs of poses ! Listed below so you can grab them BUT they are just the tip of the pose iceberg so look further !
This simple bikini comes with an overshirt which is ok just a bit of a “painted” look to it and since it’s an undressable(sic) outfit I took it off so you can see the bikini better.
Just a nice skimpy little bikini and just like my removing the top, you click on it, give permission to whoever and they can click and undress you. In my case, I gave myself permission lol. So it’s easy to take the bottoms off as well and use that strappy top with jeans, shorts or under a jacket etc.
I’ve spent many days TPing here and there all over SL checking out the places where I’d previously scored some quality gifts and that’s how I ended up at the “The Isle of Elar” sim.
This whole sim is open to everyone and has been landscaped with some of the top landscaping decor items in SL and a great eye for detail. Lots of small builds, beaches, streams, ruins, ponds, bridges etc the list goes on. Added to all of that I’m sure I spotted some ridable horses, Teagle I think which is the brand of horse I own and you also have rezzing rights. I can imagine the only thing you’d want to rezz is either a simple pose ball or item you want to take a picture of.
This is a no-fly sim so it does mean you have to walk everywhere but I did spend a very nice time just wandering and admiring and although I already own a Skye beach set I’m tempted to buy this more rocky Skye set.
PS. I almost forgot, the Giselle gift is for one of the freebie groups, there are more gifts for different groups and to find them head to the back of the shop and they’re upstairs on the baloncy…easy to see once you know where.
Favourite sale of the week – The Saturday Sale. Honestly I’ve found lots of new-to-me stores through this event! This week I headed over to Spirit (as always) great gear on offer, then I spotted this set from a store I haven’t seen before called Seniha. This is the Nikole outfit and comprises of a top, pants and cardigan. Looks so snuggly and warm I had to have it ! Each set is $75L (fatpack with extras $500L), you get a plain vest top plus a spotty one included. Back drop is from Crystal Store, nice and autumnal feel to it and you guessed it only $75L. The mug and cookie is one of several group gifts at Crystal Store, group is free to join. I own quite a few of the back drops from here, great quality.
Nabbed the stay at home gift from Seniha store on my way out, cute little dress / nightshirt? Comes with a Hud for more patterns and colours.
I’ve spotted a couple of new hunts going on and since the “Shady Sim” one is being held on one of my all-time fav landscape/decorated sim and another all-time fav shop has a prize out for us then it was a no brainer.
Every prize costs 20Lds and you do have to be in the hunt group to be able to buy the prize. The group is, of course, free to join and when I tried to buy the plant the money was refunded and I was given the link to join the group.
What you’re looking for is a beach ball. Because this is a paid-for hunt check out the link to the Seasonal Hunt Blog link I’ve given you so you can see the prizes which do include clothes.
Even if you’re not interested in the prizes still go to the sims for this.
This is just a token picture of what the streets look like spread over two sims. They’re packed with such interesting and unique landscaping I’d be proud to have a shop here or even a home and have this outside my front door. There is a monorail, a train being dragged to its doom by a giant tentacled beast and just a perfect location to not only causally stroll along but it’s a “point and click” photo opportunity.
As for the mention of the freebie, Crate has Group Gifts which have been well blogged by both Faith and I so I will just mention them rather than show them again.
If you like taking photos or perhaps need some space age type props for your role play -head along to Fashiowl ! On the gift board (no group to join) there are several gifts – just pay $0L et voila. This is quite an old prop which I bought last year- but it stands the test of time and basically I will buy anything with a dog in it ❤
Then a space base which is only 4Li and packed with poses.
Last up is the capsule – poses built in and a great looking capsule . Gifts are on the wall to the left as you enter.
I buy SO many backdrops, seriously – I think its the new “gacha” for me – I just cant stop. Minimal are my absolute favourites though – well made, in proportion and really on trend. So I headed over there today to check out if anything caught my eye – and it did ! The two backdrops on the lower part of the photo above are group gifts – plenty other gifts to grab also and all the store quality that Minimal sell. There is a small join fee of $50L which is tiny in comparison to the fact you can fill your boots with stuff as group gifts PLUS you get 10% discount when buying and wearing your group tag – nice! I bought the two backdrops on the upper part of the photo and ohmydays – they are lush! I know I’m actually going to be using these for the winter ❤
Great event on called La Vie en Pose – if you love your poses and props this is the place for you ! Each stand also has a free gift for you – just join the La Vie en Pose VIP group (no fee to pay) and click away. Fashiowl – as always – were very generous and have this fantastico car as their gift – heaps of poses and a real gem.
CEBO have this retro hair salon as their gift – a pose for the customer and a pose for the stylist built in – I think Id use it as a backdrop – really lovely ! It was SO difficult sticking to my measly budget – first time I’ve been a bit sad about not being able to buy anything boohoo!!
