Aww yis! I love when Dust Bunny has items out for FLF – I dashed right over to grab them both up. Above is the Bon Appetit Treats Board, it gives up several varieties of biscuits straight to your hand.
Then the Bon Appetit Bunny cake – which also gives out treats. On the left there is a NEW group gift yay! A bat inspired silver bowl full of batty cookies nomnomnom ❤ (I honestly cant recall if Dust Bunny has a group join fee – I dont think it does)
I love love love fireworks – I’ve got quite a few types in my inventory but I can never resist ! These are a group gift from Divias, group is free to join. You get a massive champagne bottle and a tiny one- both give a fantastic display when touched with lots of firework noises too ! Its always a good time to have a firework display ! If you use the teleporter just outside the winter area and head to he main store, there is a whole wall of free group gifts to take a gander at ❤
I did a post not too long about a free dress from a shop called GothiCatz so you may recognise this dress as it’s the same dress but in a different colour.
The note from Looloo Beck, not related, says “JUST BECAUSE… last week’s Free Gift made you girls super happy, I’m repeating the dose with a new color!!!”, I agree and from little crowd over at the shop, a lot of others agreed as well.
Editing has enhanced the colours somewhat but this dress doesn’t need it as those swirls really do stand out and I love the colours. I’ve not had time to wander around but I have a feeling that this is the sort of texturing that constantly changes with whatever windlight setting is being used.
There are also lots of fits so everyone is covered.
You will find this in the first row of clothing to your left as you go in the shop and it’s been set to “0” Lds.
I’ve just splurged my last 25Lds only to find I’m gonna have to splurge some more because one of our regular readers has just dropped the bomb that Trompe Loeil is having a blinking 50% SALE! Seriously how’d I miss that…ok I know it’s because I get sent so many notices/notes etc things often slip me by which is why I truly appreciate it when people give me the heads up about something esp when it’s as good as this. Have to say the sim is, of course, PACKED to the rafters and even worse the countdown started yesterday which means today is the LAST day to squeeze in!
So basically as I was chucking stuff out I checked out the NN Marketplace shop to see if this still had this and they do and since my copy has been eaten by my invent I just bought it.
It’s a massive spooky skybox and perfect for those who are planning a Halloween partay, me? I just open my front door and throw some sweets are the trick or treaters and tell them to “bog off” but having said that I do bake Pumpkin pies cos I love em.
Back to the build.
Although these pictures have a frame on them I haven’t edited the pictures and even in my sims Nams setting you can see they’re pretty atmospheric so if you change your windlight settings I think you will get some very interesting effects.
Comes in a rezzer or you can rez it in edit mode and there are a few extra spooky ghosts you can have flying around. For some reason the rezzer wouldn’t derezz it, the rezzer is in the well, but although this is a really big skybox it’s all in big chunks so only took a few clicks to pack it all away. That also means that if there are some bits of it you don’t like then you can remove or move them. The prim count is just over 100 but this skybox is a perfect setting for a Halloween party or if your incline to the spooky side of SL a nice little home.
PS I will be stripping right down to my Alpha and TPing as soon as I can to Tromphe.

But instead of working I’m Sim Hopping and came across the “Special Moments” shop (above the doorway it says The Plaza) which I’d already been too and since the GG is still out and I already had it a quick TP home, rezz, snap and here it is.
A very pink, pink lemonade dispenser only 2 prims and ont touch and you get a nice glass of pink lemonade to slurp on. This and another Gift are to be found just at the entrance to the shop. The other gift is a lit up VIP sign which I will probably use some time as a prop in a picture.
I should be working but I found a Twix in the bottom of the drawer, I must have hidden it a long time ago and forgot about it, and I’m just gonna have a lazy Monday sim hopping.
Tomorrow you have the chance to really make a difference – and feed those smiles! MichaelJ Rossini and Valeri Carissa run an event per month, the charities they support through these events are Feed a smile, Relay for Life and Making Strides. An event will be run on the 17th Feb (that’s tomorrow?) to raise money for Feed A Smile. Last month I spoke to Michael about their fund-raising, I admit I am always a little hesitant to get involved due to occurrences with other charities that didn’t sit well with me.
However, when I asked Michael about receipts and how the cash got to the charity , he gave me the above photo. Look carefully at the writing on the black board – got it? – doesn’t get much clearer than that huh?!
So how does the cash get raised? Simple really – you rock up to the event and have a GREAT time – seriously its that easy. Donation boxes are all around (these go direct to the nominated charity btw) The party is truly global, in the sense that something is happening throughout the time zones – you wont miss out I promise.
