Demo, Demo and More Demo’s. (Freebie(s) & Cheap Temptation).

The top I’m wearing is a gift off the Starlight Apparel stall at the 4 Season event. Plenty of fits and it has that “perky nip” look to it which happily distracts me from the Kawaii Unicorn as I’m not a Unicorn sort of girl lol.

Just like I’m nearly always wearing a Mina hair I’m nearly always wearing Alaskametro make-up so if you ever wonder where my make up comes from then I can guarantee it’s Alaskametro.

I just think the shading/textuing is top quality and you can pick from young natural to dark and supernatural. I’m not looking forward to logging back inworld to LM grab as I won’t be able to resit check out the new stuff as I’m trying, and failing, to stick to my SL & RL budget lol.

Obviously it’s never the same for everyone which is why you should try the demo’s and thats how you get the FREE one as we all know it’s common for a demo pack of colours to come with a free one which is a wearable demo.

I will admit I have a whole folder of the wearable demos plus I did pay 50Lds to join the Group as there is so many gifts for us and I bought myself some full priced palettes as I just think they’re totally worth it.

A nice simple and delightful gift from a shop I’ve not come across before called Knot & co.

Actually, that should be “Gifts” as you not only get these 4 cool Summer drinks you get the same 4 as WEARABLES and a pretty decent hold pose as well so you’re going to see many pictures with me using them as props.

Lemon, Pineapple, Cucumber and Strawberry and only 2 prims each.  There are other gifts one of which is nails but I was so happy with these I couldn’t wait to get home and try them out as the stall I’ve rezzed them on still has OMG Christmas/Winter cookies and hot chocolate on it. That’s my fault as this stall is right next to my home and even where I rezz inworld so I should have noticed well before now lol. So it’s time to pack away all those treats and rezz some more seasonal ones and then I can try out the nails I scored as well.

PS Even if you’re not into decor n nails (and the other gifts which I now can’t remember what they were) go for the sim.  A very retro themed sim with an amazing windlight setting plus a small private beach which I will be using in future for photos.

Thanks to another blogger,Kiylee, for giving me the LM to this event.  I wasn’t going to go to it but I found myself with some time to kill and Oh Boy I’m glad I did.

Called “Creators Collection Box” and it’s packed with fresh new stuff for both your AV and your AV home.  Nicely and simply laid out so easy to find the mini shops.  There is some freeness to be found but not much however what I did find was so stunning I’m so pleased I went.

Firstly the paid for items.

If you’re a Pinterester like me you will recognise this style of fabric/paper flowers.  In this picture I’ve grouped them together to show you how stunning they can be as a group but they come as small sections of 7 strands.  When I got back inworld I found that they’re editable and so you can go from as little as 2prims to OMG….too many LOL.  Perfectly sized though at the 3 prim stage.

As you can see these fabric/paper flowers are similar to the ceiling ones. They don’t come attached to that glass vase (that’s actually a freebie at this event) and so can popped into any vase or you can pick up the free and editable glass vase that it there for you.   Both of these items come from the ASO stand and the ceiling flowers cost 250, the bunch of flowers 100Lds and there is a single stemmed flower for only 50Lds.

FREEBIES.

Fun freebie.  Bigger than it looks in the picture but small enough for any childs room and is in fact a chair.  Comes with 3 poses which fit an adult, you also get 2 wearables, a little copy for your hair and another as a balloon on a stick.  Sweet and only 2 prims.  Will make an adorable addition to a childs room or if you’re into Kawaii then it’s perfect.  This item is to be found at La Petite Fleur stand.  Another shop I and Faith have blogged before because not only is most of their clothing range very affordable but they have some great freebies out for us.

Take tea with me because this is not only just 3prims but you get 2 choices of wearable Tea to drink.  You’re asked permission to attach the cup first and it didn’t remove my SLink hand or any other attachment that I could see.  Most impressed with the movement.  Not 100% perfect but then it can never be when you take into account AV sizes are all different but this was smooth and the most natural drinking one I’ve seen in a long time.WOW these flowers are FREEEE and not even just these but there are 3 different bunches, pink (shown), red and the blue in the picture below.  Each also comes with its own pose

The icing on the cake is that 亮 (ryo.ixxel) has made them Trans! So you can send your SL Loved one a gift how fricken generous is that!  Because I’m a SL singleton and I love these I’m going to go back and grab armfuls of them.  At 6prims I can stuff my home with them.

So the beautiful tea set and flowers are gifts to us from 亮 (ryo.ixxel), his shop is called RH Designs and I’ve blogged this shop before since he also has some excellent Group Gifts in his shop as well as paid for great furniture and builds in the back.  Really worth checking it out esp as it’s place on a little shopping sim with cute shops with some hidden freebies and LBs.

Revenge! (Cheap n Free n Fun).

Revenge of the Pins!  Have to confess I wasn’t going to go to The Wash this round because in all honesty I didn’t think there would be too much new to interest but I decided to pop over in any case  and was happy to see lots of new stuff.  Clothes, SLink shoes, jewels, skins, decor items etc and this tiny Bowling pin AV.  Since I just couldn’t squeeze yet another item of clothing in my invent I decided that I’d go for something fun and yup thats me squeezed into a tiny AV, you get everything ie alpha, mesh, and the bowling ball what you don’t get is the lightning bolts coming from the ball I added them for a dramatic look LOL.

Then I went back to grab this mesh dress.  Again just me having fun in one of my fav builds, a ruined theatre in the sky.  This dress is beautiful, shimmery and very very pink but you do actually also get a pink and green skirted one in the pack.  Other colour options are available on this stall.  Sorry I was too busy dancing I forgot to do a zooooom in on the “stripper shoes”.  Free from the latest round of the Cosmopolitan.  You do have to join the free  group and as Baylen has pointed out the GG is above the doorway going into one of the 3 rooms.  You get 2 colours in this pack and they’re for SLink High feet.  Trust me WORTH going for them!

Everything at The Wash is only 10Lds, nice that the whole place is laid out in an easy to follow pattern so you shouldn’t have much problem locating these.

Just a KISS (Freebies).

As the rain pours down outside I decided to mooch the Marketplace till it stops and I can go out and came across this.  TBH a simple mesh skirt and top was bottom of my list of what I wanted to find but dayum I’m impressed.  Again a KISS find (keep it simple stupid) not only do you get the skirt, top and shoes each comes with a colour changing hud so each has the same choice of 8 colours and also nail, necklace and bracelets, sorry I forgot to check if they also come with a hud but I’m going to assume they do.  The fit I have to say is excellent and I’ve not used any special settings or photo tricks other than use my usual Nams prim and skin setting (the same setting I use 90% of the time inworld) because the colours are so decent you just wouldn’t think this was a FREEBIE.

It’s stopped raining so I’m off out byeeee for now.

Finally the LOVE DONNA FLORA  event is now up and running.

The sim was donated by Chablish Kinsella and Felicity Blumentha designed the sim to be glorious to look at and yet in a much appreciated simple way.  On the top of the hill you have an old market town centre and you walk through one of the 4 arch ways and down past some glorious vineyards where around the edge of the sim is a path and on each side are stalls and barrows packed with goodies.  This means you will not miss a thing. Special mention also to  Katy (katya.valeska) and probably so many others whose name I don’t know but to create such an impressive event take people a lot of time and effort which usually doesn’t seem appreciated.

If you haven’t heard about Squinternet Larnia by now then you’re in for a treat, this is the Lovely Lady (she must be lovely for so many people to spend so much of their time, effort or generous donations) who owns Donna Flora.  A shop packed with the unique, bright, colourful, womanly, feminine, retro costumes and creations that you can find in SL.  Sadly at the moment her health is not good.  I’ll put the link in for a read of her story but the main thing is all these people have come together to show their appreciation and maybe just maybe raise some much needed funds for Squinternet.

Some of the biggest names are here and there is everything from poses to SLink nails and everything in between.   If your on a limited budget then there are clothes starting a very reasonable price so even if you can’t indulge yourself in a high end dress there is still plenty here for you to treat yourself to.  Each item has been clearly market as to how much of the money will go towards Donna Flora (Squinternet) and you will be surprised at how many are at a 100%.  But if course you can pop to her very own in world shop but just make sure to set some time aside for both as there is so much to see you wouldn’t want to be rushed.

I adore all forms of flowers in SL esp the ones you can wear. This dress comes from Lybra. A form fitting mesh dress with wispy skirt attachments but it’s the creamy fat roses that have the WOW factor.  Dress can be worn with or without the roses or you can even wear them on other outfits. The hair I am wearing in both pictures is called  Daphne.  Comes from Amacci.  Here you can buy everything to make your AV look hot and sexy, skins, shapes, eyes etc but it’s the hair I’m after.  I knew the name was familiar to me and thats because one of my more wilder wicked hairs comes from here.  What I appreciate most is how she has her hair styles laid out in sections so the updo’s, long hair, braids etc are all together.  An updo hairstyle with an optional flower attachment. Use the HUD to change between 15 flower colors.
Daphne is available in colour packs with 6-8 hairs in each.

My budget that is.  However my excuse is I found some really great stuff at even better prices.

This is what happens when you “pop” into Collabor88 you find something so good you have to buy it. A cross over copper coloured  metallic mesh dress.  The dark black outline, buttons and crisp collar look so good.  I chose this colour but they have some more dramatic colour choices  The boots are a must because this finish off this look to perfection and they too come if matching colours to the dresses.  They are a separate buy but at 88Lds for each item that still works out at a more than reasonable price for a great look. Better hurry though because once removed they will go back to full price.

The strange thing is I had just been to Rei2 Aya shop, R2 Fashion, and seen this outfit just before I TPed to Collabor88.  So fate decided I had to buy it.  Cheeky cheeky and more cheek. A strapless dress but that short skirt with the exaggerated flare means you can show your undies off or if you really cheeky dare to bare all.

Only 4 colour choices with this dress so again I stuck with the beige. Wearing the boots as well and again they go a long way to finishing off this outfit.  This dress isn’t in the Collabor88 sale it’s in their main shop but 149Lds is a decent price.

This shop is about 70% shoes, 20% clothes, 10% skins and a 100% excellence.  Loving the shoes as well and I’ve grabbed a number of demos to try on at my leisure and another cheeky skirt demo with the same flare as this dress.  Her clothes and shoes have that touch of something extra that make them stand out from crown (which you certainly will do if you don’t wear your undies!).

Now walk outside of R2 and into the Love Soul shop which is packed with so many good things.  Nails, shoes, hair, accessories all with a touch of uniqueness.  You don’t find this stuff in every other shop.  I spent all my money here on hair.

Sadly for 170Ld you only get 1 shade and I want them ALL! You can buy a fatpack but thats a 1000Lds which may work out at a bargain price but I’m going to have to settle for this (just for the moment).

and finally this hair and then I had to leave because I just wanted all of the hairs on offer. Got to mention the shop owners name because she deserves it, 流依 Bluestarrui Villota.

Kicking myself because the one thing I do have plenty of from this shop is nails.  A great selection of colours and sizes so go on check out the claws. The check out the rest of the shops at this shopping centre.  Well laid out with good prices, good designs, good Gatchas and a few LBs.  So if your not shopping for anything in particular you will have a lovely time here.

PS as it happens I too popped to the Ribbon shop at this shopping centre and won almost the same top as Faith has just blogged but I got the “melty heart” one and it’s so cute.
