A Happy Mistake – Free

I got all ready to start a new hunt – trotted off to Emerald Couture to find their gift and couldn’t – now this isn’t strange for me as I am pretty rubbish at finding things. Anyhoooo the hunt hadn’t even started doh. As I was there and I do enjoy a bit of lucky board stalking I tuned left to the boards – et voila within moments Id won quite a few items. You do need to be in the group to play and it is free to join yay! This superbly textured and slightly sheer dress captured my heart – such a pretty shade of sea jade with some really pretty detailing at the shoulder and an exposed back. It also comes with some rather cute strapped heels!

Lucky boards are not usually very good for me, but today as I landed at the new Reed store my letter was showing hurrah! I won this brill shorts & top outfit in red. You’ll need to join the group (which is free) and wait for your letter to rock up – it wont take long as the boards turn over pretty fast – there are three outfits to be had and I got all of them in a very short time.

This is my new fav “go-to” shop. (Freebie & 25Ld Tue).

I was trashing my way through my invent when I came across a dress I was 99% sure I’d not blogged so a quick TP back to the shop I got it from showed that it’s now not available as an Emerald Couture Group Gift but just as good this dress is now a “The Weekly Limited” gift and that’s a free group.

The design of the dress is a simple SL classic but that pattern and colour really just stand out, it’s pretty obvious that green is one of my fav colours lol.

Chances are if you go to the Emerald Couture shop you will remember it as I have so far blogged a couple of the Group Gifts already.  I’m pretty sure that the “EC” group is free to join.  To find those gifts and this “The Weekly Limited” gift then they’re on the last isle/back wall to your left.  You will also find some Lucky Chairs at the back of the shop.

As for that bouquet of Lily of the Valley, it’s the 25Ld Tue offer from Gumi’s Flower Shop.

Ooops! (Freebie and other stuffs).

OH Dear, this is what happens when I play with our sims windlight setting…It is a fab setting however it’s not the sunny day it once was.  I was actually trying to see if I could have the sim windlight setting linked to the day/night timer so it changed to whatever SL time of day it is.  That ain’t happening.

OK, enough blab, look closely at this dress and it’s so well patterned you can actually see the unironed creases in it! A very nice, simple, easy to wear “Stay at Home Club” freebie from TRS Design.

This dress isn’t why I went to the TRS shop though, I went to check out the 50Ld offer of a denim dress plus the sale that is going on AND another 50Ld offer which gives you a 200Ld gift card/shop credit.  I didn’t buy either item but I did have a good look around which is how I noticed that the Gacha’s in the shop are all priced at 25Lds. Near to where you find this dress and the 50Ld offers is a couple of Gacha’s with a very simple plain knit dress which I almost bought but didn’t you may want to check that out as well as the other Freebies/Gifts/Lucky Chair on the wall.

I had an LM bookmarked for some reason but I couldn’t remember why so once I’d logged in and checked any notes/notices I went to check it out and this is what I found.

I know you’re only seeing the top part but in my full-length picture, I look even more gormless so in addition to this top you also get those green pants, appliers, and a pair of summery strappy wedges.

The shame is I can’t remember either the name of the shop and also the freebie group it’s a gift from and now I’m logged out and can’t log back in to check as RL is screaming for me.

I do remember this is a gift from one of the big freebie groups so that will be no surprise to you and I did have a few minutes walking around the XXXX shop and noticed some really lovely textures have been used on the clothing.  You will find this and other gifts in the back of the shop and then check out the shop properly.

Just a LBD. (Freebie & Bargains).

Who doesn’t need an LBD both in SL and RL?

This simple and stylish one is a freebie from Evale.  To get this you will see large Hexagons with the group inviter and another with an outline of a gift box.  Just join the free group and click on the gift.

Confession time as my photo editing has completely washed out the nice detailing on this dress but damnit I look too good not to use this picture.

As for the “Discount”, it’s the backdrop.  Anyone who likes to take photos will know of the “The Bearded Guy” range.  I own so many of his backdrops already but the chance to get this one for 50Ld and a very sexy “neon bathroom” for only 60Ld  was too good to miss.

UPDATE: When I was back at “The Bearded Guys” shop I spotted NEW Group Gifts and since I’m already in the group, 75Lds, I grabbed myself what looks like some amazing backdrops, one looks to be a WHOLE urban street.  I’ve had to log out now but can’t wait to log back in and unpack everything new.  So check out the Group Gifts old and new because for that initial joining fee you get an awful lot. OH and slap the MM boards and you maybe lucky on the lucky chair.

The Bearded Guy

I’d picked up some Dollarbies from the “Revelations” shop and after trying them on and feeling pleased with them I’d planned to hop on over to my fav beachy sim to take some snaps when for some reason I called into the Kuro shop first to try some demo AO’s out.

My AO comes from this shop and even though it’s as old as “Sculpties” it’s still perfect for me as it’s movements are subtle but time has moved on and maybe so should I and update my AO to a Bento AO.  I have to say that I’m still not keen on most Bento poses/AO’s until I hopped on this one.  Again they are more subtle than most and the hand movements are as natural as natural gets in SL.  This particular AO does cost 600Lds and I am not too up on AO prices so I’m not sure if this is a high or reasonable price to pay but when I log back in I think it’s time to waste some time and check out AO shops to see if there is anything better than this even though I think I will probably end up returning to buy it.

If you look behind me you will see the non-bento poses, these are much more reasonably priced esp if you’re not into Bento.  The prices start at 200Lds and average 300Ld for those.  There are also male AO’s as well.

As for this Dollarbie outfit, you have to join the free Revelation group and then pay 1Ld, not returned, and I’m more than happy with not just this but also the NEW Bikini.  I have possibly shown you this particular outfit before butttt I’m not sure.  You get a hud of colours and I’m loving this orange colour, plenty of fits.  As mentioned there is a new Dollarbie plus other outfits which have been blogged before and on the wall behind the GG’s are some Lucky Chairs.
